Casey's Propane

First Year ever having Propane heat and so Far Casey's has been issue free. So hopefully the trend continues. On Monthly payments in Hastings, Ont.

I rent and the landlord uses Casey’s propane. We are supposed to be on auto refill but in the past 3 years we have run out of propane 4 times! They are never in a hurry to get here to refill when they are called and told we are “empty” either.
Casey himself has come to do a refill when we are empty and I’ve never heard an apology from him.

Worst experience. Total fraud with billing. Lot of hidden charges. Please look elsewhere for peace of mind

I have had a wonderful experience with this company. We have been using them for 4 years now and they have always been reliable and fair. Everytime I call, they have always been so pleasant and helpful to deal with and always come in a timely manner.highly recommend

Never an issue with Casey's. They installed new service at my cottage about a year ago. The install went flawlessly and so has every fill up since then. I have been quite happy with them.

By far the worst company I ever dealt with. I am not on their automatic refill. They filled propane without any notice, even when told not to do so and charged me for a full tank, when the tank was already half full. As mentioned in the other reviews, if you choose to close the account they send the final invoice to collections directly to ruin your credit. I had to call police to their office location to close my account instantly. IF YOU CHOOSE TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT, CLOSE IT THE SAME DAY!

Being with this company since 2018 when purchasing the house.
No problems up until last winter with the equipment regulators started having issues.
So calling about fixing the equipment I was informed I would have to pay for the upgrade even though I pay yearly rental.
150$ to repair new.
So I asked to hold my account
I should of been informed that there would be a charge for removing the tanks from my property.
The guys picked up the tanks and mentioned that due to the amount of fuel left 35 % & 15 % over 209 L at 85.9
I will receive a refund once the pickup order is complete.
1 month later I was informed that there is a 150$ charge for removing the tanks
So my refund will not happen.
Do the math I Don't care about what's owed just beware of the service that Casey's Propane offers.
Based on other reviews it is obvious this company has customer relations issues.

HORRIBLE- “AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! ” I would rate this company less than zero if I could. We recently moved in to a new residence as tenants. The existing account on premises is with Casey’s. When we called to register we were quoted a lower rate. When we received our first bill the rate we were charged was much higher. Also, the amount of propane supposedly used without the furnace on when that is the only thing that uses propane was unbelievable. We were billed on April 4. We called the company on the weekend and spoke with a friendly lady from the answering service and explained our concerns, she told us to expect a call back on Monday, April 11. We received a call around 10 AM this morning (Apr 11) from Casey himself. We asked him to clear up some questions for us about our concerns. He was extremely rude, he became hotheaded and was yelling over the phone. Our bill was not even past due. Casey became irate saying that if we refused to pay the bill he would have the tanks ripped out immediately. We explained that we were not refusing to pay the bill but wanted some answers. Casey hung up on us. One hour later a Casey’s Propane truck showed up at our residence, and two men came down our driveway saying they had been instructed to come take the tanks immediately. We told them to leave the property and they refused. We told them we were calling the police and they sat in their truck for an hour after that waiting for the police to arrive. OPP were dispatched, but did not intervene as they said it was a “civil matter” and after much discussion and our landlord managing to speak to Casey (he was refusing to speak to them at first) Casey agreed he would not IMMEDIATELY rip out our tanks if we paid our bill by 5 PM today, again we had not even reached the due date yet. We agreed to this in order to keep the tanks. But we will be looking into options with our landlord to change companies. Casey is an inhumane, hot headed RIP OFF ARTIST, and clearly not very intelligent. Casey’s parting words to us even after resolving the immediate dispute were that he will come on our property whenever he wants, and that he will come rip out the tanks whenever he feels like it. I was then further shocked to come on here and find another review by someone who says Casey himself was charged with theft, mischief and vandalism after sabotaging their equipment when they changed companies. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Cheerful "obviously" professionaly owned and operated business. Got my RV propane filled in jig time.from pulling into their ample staging area to pulling out happy and back on the road. 10 minutes max. Recommend this place even if you dont use propane! Drop in for one of their smiles

Been with this company for 5+ years and couldn’t be more happy, ran out of propane today (my fault) and they filled within the hour great job guys!
