Place filled with filthy people. Rude staff. Dirty. Seems like a shady and dangerous place with people screaming at the top of their voice. Staff is racist.

5 hour + wait time to play poker (1/3 table and 2/5 table). What a joke of a poker room. Save your time, money, and mental health and go somewhere else. I will never come here again. Every time I asked any question, the staff were clueless and would answer "I don't know. " Waste of my time.

Some washrooms are permanently closed and it causes difficulty for specially elderlies. They do not have specific guidelines to help customers with complains against other rude and immoral customers. I think the number of low moral customers are too high for this place that they are not able to manage.

I am above 18 yrs old and they didn't allowed me entry just because i look like under 18. This is unfair!

Worst run poker room in the world. These guys don’t know how to run a poker room if their life depended on it. Complete garbage. The only poker room I’ve seen where they over charge on food and drinks. They even charge you for water! Meanwhile, you can go to Poker Playground and get free food and drinks all day. Then there’s the $20 rake! Great job Ontario government for choosing the most inept and greedy company to run Canada’s biggest city Casino. Underground games will continue to thrive with these morons running things!

A beautiful new Casino but the blackjack tables are a joke. $50 min and 6/5 for blackjack. Not 3/2. How greedy. Also continous shufflers instead of dealing 8 decks and cutting the shoe. Very disappointed. Will not use play at this casino

If I've been there 11 times this year, 10 out of 11 I have gone home loosing money. I don't know why I keep going, very few people win, every time I go I take 2 thousand dollars to gamble.

It was my first time at the woodbine casino. I did the membership card, which gave me $10 for free to use on the slot machines. There's free coffee and water. It's not bad, bit winning is harder comparing to other casinos that I've been. The space is big and clean. There is a lot of construction going on in that area, which makes hard to leave there.

Large facility, enjoy the have the old school craps table, not the electronic versus most casinos have

Guys save your money and stay home. Woodbine is only operating like 40 slots and you probably won't get to play your go to slots. The machines rarely hit plus there are no drinks to drink so you'll be thirsty for 2 hours. Stay home or just gamble among family and friends.

Disappointing, no atmosphere no choice. Don’t bother going until it’s reopened fully. Maybe 100 games to choose from, with 50 people that gives the chances of 50% of machines being used. The selection is poor and it machines felt very tight. No drinks no service, don’t advise going.

Usually when I visit Toronto second day I’m in woodbine casino with brothers and cousins enjoying my vacation I like this place

Not a good time to go! Very few machines to choose from, no penny machines of coarse! No payouts to be seen. Kind of reminded me of
a casino you'd find on a resort. Very sad.

The quality of the prime rib & lobster tail was decent. If you aren't a fan of beef, they also have salmon and chicken options to choose from. There's also a great view of the racetrack from the restaurant, especially if you get the window seats!

Overall great place on a Saturday afternoon to watch the ponies. Tons of slot machines, e-tables and table games. There's lots of different options when it comes to food and drink. All around an enjoyable experience.

This place is the physical location that depression beats people up and steals their change. They don't even play music in the background - there is no ambient noise!

I have a very good experience here and I have won only sometimes. I would not give 5 stars because sometimes the machines scam, however there’s is great food choices around the place. The casino is massive.

No one ever wins. Only small jackpots between $1,000 - $2,000. Not like back in the day, when people used to really win. They won't even give a cord for your player card, line-ups are super long for customer service, washrooms are lacking cleaning services, and machines don't pay. Don't go and spend your money on something worthwhile instead of giving it away to Woodbine. Definitely NOT worth it.

Woodbine is not like it used to, very over crowded, cant move not to mention the horrible never ending line ups trying to redeem a $ 30 free play voucher! Threw mine in the garbage.
No longer a fun location to pass a few hours

I went to play blackjack, but every single table had $50 minimums. I was hoping to play with lower minimums. They have a high roller section, but I anticipated that the minimums would be lower for Blackjack in the regular section. Even fallsview Niagara has $25 minimums even on busy Fridays and weekends.

Good place with enough room to play. 3 floors with strict security checks. Lots of parking space. Lots of good coffee and easy exchanges. Courteous staff.

Not a gambler but wandered around watching others. Scary seeing how people bet and get all sweaty and tense. Doesnt look like fun to me. It looks like an attempt at giving ones self a heart attack. To each their own. Not my personal cup of tea but its packed so others like it. It is small right now but they are constructing a large casino stand alone on the property. Till then its small and packed at Woodbine Floors 3 &3 for tables, floor 1 for slots.

The walk to and from the parking lot smelt of horse manure (Dec 2018). The casino itself was very over crowded particularly on Thursday during Wheel of Winter Wonder. They have the event happening during every hour from 6PM to 10PM in the front lobby. It made walking to your desired destination incredibly difficult as a large crowd would block the entrance towards the slots area or the second level. The line up to register or participate in the chance to spin the wheel was very long. It would have been better if individuals visited the customer service reps in the slots area rather than the main entrance. Security is tight if you are someone under the age of 30 they will card you every single time. There were a couple of machines that were out of service and malfunctioning while playing. There were also issues with cashing out your tickets where either the machine was broken or the machine no longer had sufficient funds.

Bad attention. The card they deliver does not work well. Several times I told the representative at the time about my problem and did nothing to give me a solution. I do not go back to that casino. I liked Niagara's best attention, and I had no problem play.

This place has changed A LOT since new ownership in January of 2018.
They have tightened the machines to the point that you walk and don’t see a single jackpot. They have one slot attended per section.
They cash out machines are never working. Always out of order.
They have these stupid promotions that just crowd the place up with people that can’t even afford to play.
It’s absolutely unethical, trying to reel in people that should not be gambling.
The washrooms are always dirty now, impossible to get to the rewards desk, impossible to grab a bite.the list goes on.
I really miss OLD Woodbine.

The best place in the world to throw away your money. Came here many times and the machines took all of our money and never gave it back. Complained to the Manager and was told if you play with the machines and lose, you'll never get your money back. Stupid games. Who does that? It's 2018 people! Evil place! Never coming back!

The prime rib & lobster tails was amazing. The casino itself is terribly crowded, long line ups, very little staff. Payouts are low & few wins. If you are looking for an evening out with a budget, can be fun.

Way to crowded with machines. Can't even walk down the isle without people and chairs in the way. Winner's Circle line up is rediculous and no birthday slot play bonus!? Only one floor of slots, most of it under construction and very little low- denom machines to play. No poker room and no Texas Holden.that's nuts.

This casino is run by mobsters. The security even threatened a small handicapped Asian woman with arrest for yelling a bit. If that head of security bald pencil neck kernel sanders got in my face like that it would have been a bad day at the office. Everyone should be yelling and screaming at this casino and starting a riot because the slot machines are set at borderline criminally low payback percentages, as the other reviewers have noted. 80% payback? No, more like 5% payback. This casino doesn't deserve a PENNY of yours. The workers at this casino know it as well, if you speak to some of the honest employees they will affirm how bad it is for the last 4-5 months. Everyone is complaining but of-course the Casino is ALWAYS INNOCENT. It's NEVER EVER the casinos fault. It's always the gamblers fault. The casino can do whatever the hell they want. We already know about the corruption with the Kathleen Wynne government and their backroom deals. Looks like we now know where the budget for Trudeau's government is really coming from. I don't even understand what the point of their staff is in this Casino, apart from intimidating their customers. There are rarely any jackpots to give out. Some days I see no jackpots whatsoever. For the amount of players and money going into this casino this is a complete JOKE. Worst Casino in the world!

First off the place need to vacuum and the machines need to be cleaned to maintain safe hygiene.

I recently dined upstairs and ordered the special of lobster and salmon for $14.99 for card holding customers but upon receiving my bill, I realized that I was charged the original price of $27. I was charged the tax on $27 and $14.99 was deducted from the bill. I was under the impression that the price off the dinner was $14.99. It is still being advertised all over Ontario at $14.99 Thursday and Friday. I still have my receipt to prove it.

It was the worst experience of my life! I took my 82 year old father so he could play the slots. It was overcrowded because of the coupons, there wasn't enough room to maneuver a walker because of the enormous lineups and just plain not enough aisle room due to the greedienes of the OLG having too many slot machines, just like greedy stores. People were so incredibly ill mannered, budding in, ramming into you, pushing you aside, shameful and I promise NEVER to return!

I usually go often to casinos but there I have the worst experience in my life, is not because I lost money but the way the setup I played in one slot machine I leave $17 thousand in the same machine with moving and I didn't get any bonus even $100 back honestly if I could get $100 back I could be happy but nothing that's I'm believable I'm honest guy I'm not making up things, I complain there and they ignored me with very bad attitude

The reason I'm giving this place three stars is simply because there are not enough live tables and the parking location, it's not the easiest to get to. Dealers were okay and the staff were pretty lenient for first timers who don't know what they're doing when playing at a table. I would recommend this casino to people who are going to the casino for the first time. The last thing I'd like to note is that I've seen a lot of low ratings simply because people don't win on slots. Slots have one of the lowest return rates out of anything at a casino. When going to a casino with the intention of playing slots don't expect to get big bucks.
