Friends and family warned me not to go here, they warned me of inevitable ineptitude but I was desperate to have my cat spayed because housemate kept leaving outside door open and Cassels animal hospital were the only option at the time, when I got Persephone back a few days later she had a surgical cut from her neck to her pelvis and she never meowed again, as compensation for mutilating the poor soul that trusted me the most in this world they offered to further mutilate her by declawing for free. My hatred for these people knows no limit.

Our dog needed prescription refill and because I had cancelled the previous appointment, they only has a spot in 2 month away.really they were ok with letting dog go 2 months without pain medication that he had been taking for 1.5 years (chronic, arthritic, hips, knees- dog was 12) That's animal cruelty!

Cassells Animal Hospital continues to provide the absolute best care for our pet family. We have trusted all six of our pets care to them. From annual visits, emergency appointments and final farewells, we rely on them to help us understand all options and develop collaborative treatment plans. And wow, have we had a few of those!

We’ve watched how the Cassells team has navigated covid, understaffing, and all manner of other challenges while still providing excellent, honest care. Vets everywhere are struggling to manage the demands of their customers, but the Cassells Animal Hospital team somehow manage to keep smiles on their faces and kindness in their hearts.

If you spotted a review of anything less than 5 stars, I’d recommend questioning the circumstances. They treat us like members of their family, and we aren’t even that great!

The Doctors, Technicians and Customer Service Professionals work frustrating, hopeful, depressing, puppy-filled hours to protect pets and their families. Thanks Cassells Animal Hospital - we appreciate you!

Been there for at least 12 years.never had bad experience the dogs enjoyed going there they were never afraid to go always well treated keep up the good work every one that's there

I've been taking my cats here for over 7 years now and I can't recommend them enough. My cat has various specialized medical needs and the staff here are so knowledgeable and friendly, you can tell they truly care for your animal.

Excellent customer service, considering the current Covid protocol. I would have really preferred to meet and chat with the Veterinarian in person, but I do understand and appreciate the situation they are working under. Treated with respect and dignity and so was my pet.

I have been bringing my cat here for the last 3 years. He has feline asthma, on and off bowl issues, and had really bad plaque build-up. He has been treated by 3 vets there over the years and i literally am blown away every-time by their (and all of the staff's) high standard of care. They do NOT charge an arm and a leg, are honest, and literally remember every little detail about my cat and what his asthma triggers are: which means a lot to me. I just recently got his teeth cleaned (hundreds of dollars cheaper than other vets in town) and im literally blown away by the results. ALL his plaque is gone and there is NO sign of irritation around his gums. That is unheard of. They ACTUALLY care about their clients, and you are not a walking money symbol to them. His results speak to their patience and how thorough they are.

Malgré un horaire chargé, ils ont reconnu une urgence médicale (coup de chaleur) et ont mis en place un plan d'intervention serré très efficace pour ma chienne. Personnel très attentionné et humain.

The staff are absolutely great. The care they have for the our furry friends is their #1 concern. My dealings with Dr. Eckensviller have been wonderful from 1. The course of actions in diagnosing and treatments for my 4 legged family member, 2. And putting my mind at ease (especially with our current issue) and the directions for me to follow with tips and tricks for getting some prescriptions in her. Everyone here in my mind deserves all 5 stars.

Vets make 500,000$ a year if not more u say you love animals but charge up the wazoo to help them you love the money otherwise ud charge less for lower income families I only make 30,000$ a year and I can afford five kids and five animals do u really need that much money than Claim u love animals I'd never go to a vet unless they charged a reasonable amount like 100$ to get ur cat checked out 300$ for spay etc. U guys are all rip offs and animals suffer because of vets and their money

Anika and myself are so very thankful for the compassion and kindness that Melanie Eckensviller and her team gave our Fozzy bear in his time of needs.with such a busy on call weekend. Melanie was still chipper and very helpful with insurance paperwork and still had a smile

Do not recommend! Higher end prices than the rest of north bay vets. No liability on their staff and hospital manager will defend mistakes to infinity and beyond, if she doesn’t like the client. No apologies or admittance. I had to reschedule appointments in the past in reasonable timeframes, due to personal reasons. I asked about policies regarding exams being mandatory at every visit, I booked an appointment and they informed I would get a call back before my appointment. Two days past by, and NO CALL. I call to inquire as my appointment was in 2 hours, and find out they not only didn’t call me back, but they assigned the spot to another patient without even telling me. I find out the day of my appointment. The hospital manager also didn’t apologize to me. They both told me, well you should’ve called us back. I’m sorry? They are a mess. They’ve decided I need to pay before my appointments now, which do not apply to all clients. I’m switching. The vet was really nice though! It’s a shame. Don’t go here!
