C&C Supermarket

While I’ve been here often for food items, today I decided to try the hot take out for my family.
I was the third person waiting, made eye contact with the server, yet when an Asian man walked up next to me, she said something to him in her language as if she knew him, proceeded to serve him first, (I am not Asian). When I spoke up and said I was next, the Asian customer said he didn’t see me…. It was literally me and him, that’s it. Since the server had already started his takeout container, I told her she was was wrong for that, and walked away.
Completely bias interaction.

Fish monger is extremely rude and purposely threw a fish into the tank splashing water on us. Didn't even apologize

Clean asian supermarket. Has just about everything I was able to need to prepare my hotpot and sushi dinner.

Stored was well organized, and clean. A good amount of cashiers open allowed quick check out. Prices are high. My only concern is the hot food area. None of the ready to eat food was hot. Lukewarm at best which raises food safety concerns of not holding the food at the correct temperature.

Clean and filled with options, have started coming here as it is not packed and several meats and cuts can be found here, their fruits and vegetables are pretty good too, got a deal for a case of Aquafina

Always check your receipt while paying at the counter i have a bad experience. Everything is fine except to that.

Decent supermarket. Went late so they were already putting away fruits and vegetables. Seems pretty big, clean and tidy. Will return during regular hours.

Clean supermarket with decent price for grocery. Huge parking lot, don’t need to worry about parking space. If you want you can try their rice box, cheap with good quality. Recommend.

I bought this pastry from c&c two days ago, when I was going to eat today, I noticed that it was moldy, even though the expire date is Oct. 26, which means 10 days later. What a joke!

They carry grocery supplies for Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Jamaican, etc.which is very convenient since I cook all kinds of ethnic food. The place is clean and prices are good.

The one thing you have to watch out for though is that they sell many items in a package instead of loose. For example, you can't just buy one bell pepper, as they put four in a package. It is annoying.

Love this store. The assortment of goods is huge and includes not only Chinese products but also Japanese, Korean, Viet, Thai, and Philippino. They fresh produce section is extensive with a wide variety of products, especially in the allium family. The fish is fresh, haven't had issues yet. The meat is also varied.

Lots of parking in the plaza, and easily accessible. Love this place for their cheap cooked food section, they have a variety of asian groceries - chinese， Vietnamese, Japanese, Filipino as well. Look through their flyer for weekly deals!

Good alternative to T&T if you're looking for a good Asian grocery store close to the East End of Toronto. Not as big though but still great!

They have variety of snacks and hot counter - the Bahn mi, onigiries and the fried rice is tasty. Good prices on meat. They have both meat and fish monger sections. Good veggie options. Tropical fruits less expensive.

My husband is there shopping for our family of 5, my older parents and a family (our friends) dealing with cancer. He has been there for hours getting what is needed. He walked away from the cart a few minutes and they came and took his cart and emptied it! He has to find everything again. It is 10 pm and he has already been there for hours shopping what is needed. No one answering the phone there.

Great local asian grocery store. Lot of options to choose from. Definitely recommend.
Only concern is that this store is currently the riskiest place to get Covid-19. I went there to get a couple items. The store was PACKED. Nobody was at the entrance making sure the store is not over crowded. Everyone was bumping into each other. When I went to the bakery section all the bread was open. I get it, it comes out fresh and warm. But people touch it especially now everyone need to be careful. Love this store, but health officials need to reduce the amount of customers enter the store. Probably during the week it’s not busy but weekends are terrible.

Basically the same as T&T. Pretty much the same stock. Great meat selection. Quality veggies. Wide selection of goods from all over asia, and a lot of Ramen. I mean a LOT.

Lots of selection, in every category - from soups to nuts! Great place to get all Lunar New Year treats!

Some of the butchers are not so friendly, but otherwise, great selection of items and very diverse.

Food very fresh and the price reasonable plus the place so clean and the service so far so for me I am not to complain.

It is a very convenient place for groceries! They have tons of snacks from Asian countries and numerous types of ice cream in the fridge. I enjoyed this nice place as there are fewer people compared with other supermarkets and lots of parking space for me to drop by.

They didn't have any of the advertised flyer items in stock and when asked, none of the employees even knew where to direct you. Its a big place but.

The place is big, clean and lots of choices. I just find it more pricey than other asian stores.but I enjoy shopping there.

This grocery store is quickly surpassing T&T, and is becoming my favourite. They have huge selections of everything at lower prices than T&T. We’ve been there 10+ times already, never had a bad experience. Hope they keep their prices competitive!

Place is clean and well lit. Also the produce, meat and pantry department were well organized. The food seems fresh. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice supermarket but it's kinda quiet. Doesn't bother me it is quiet. I don't like crowds. But I hope they could stay in business and things will stay fresh.

A welcome addition to Don Mills. Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables; fish section clean and organized; hot food is above average; meat selection and options very good; service attendants non existent; 10 am check out absolutely horrid. 2 cashiers and 15 ppl in each line. No use getting ppl into the store if 25-30 minute checkouts are the norm. Aweful

The customer service at some of the stations is non existent. I asked one guy at vegetable station and yelled “Huh” and proceeded to play on his phone. Very rude and disrespectful. That being said there are some great sales and prices are cheaper than bigger shopping marts. I hope they hire people who actually speak English and smile even if they don’t.

Since it opened, I've been shopping there, great products and competitive pricing. On Easter Sunday, I spent $100 on meat and vegetables. I bought a fresh oxtail that was in a bag that contained one whole oxtail. I requested that they cut it up for me. To my surprise, when I got home to cook it, there were 3 oxtail tips in the bag that was not there when I pick it for cutting. They switched the meaty part and gave me bony parts. I returned it immediately and reported to the manager that was too busy to really care. He gave me another one and gave me the difference in price back to me. Not even an apology, instead gave me an explanation that makes no sense. BEWARE OF THOSE PEOPLE CUTTING THE MEAT, THEY WILL CHEAT YOU IF YOU GIVE THEM A CHANCE. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE!

I love shopping here. Whether it's for Asian food or just a leisure shop, this is our go to. You can find almost all-things Asian at C&C. Also, if you happen to stick around around 6: 30-7pm make sure to drop by the food court area. Their end-of-the-day sale is a cheat! 12pc sushi tray for 2.99 or a whole roasted duck for 4.50! If you don't mind a couple hours added into the shelf life.

Overpriced compared to other Asian supermarkets. I only went there once and I left all my products there.they only had 1 cash opened. The line was so long & after 15 minutes in line I decided to go somewhere else.

Very new and tidy supermarket that carries a lot of great products! They also have a hot food bar that serves delicious take away meals and sides. Only downfall is the lack of cashiers, and how slow they work.always takes so long just to check out.

More mainland China focused supermarket than HK South China. Prepared food is more that style. They try to do the southern Asian food but just not there. Had only 2 cashiers when there are about 10 people in line with cart full of groceries. Slow and careless. Took their time between customers to fidget with something and then toss food in bags which some should not be flipped over. No care.

The layout of this store is a little haphazard, but it's really clean and they have a good selection of products.

Great selection of local and exotic veggie / fruit selection. The price is much cheaper when compared to T&T.

It's new, its clean and very spacious. Will see how long that will last, I do love the huge varieties of South East Asian foods they have, plus Carribean a d Halal items. A true multicultural grocery shop.

Solid Asian grocer. Selection is good and aisles are labelled.just need to look. Seafood especially the fish is good for fresh.

The place was nice and clean and organize. Good price and lot of selection. The staff were nice, helpful and friendly. However, the cook food is not yummy at all and way too salty. We tried almost all the dish nothing is nice. But their sushi is the best and good price. We still come shop but avoid cook food.

It's a great grocery store. Great selection of Canadian and asian supplies, they have a ready to eat food section that looks really good too. My wife and I go there especially for the fish market. They have great deals on certain items every week that are really good. I come here all the time and the only difficult thing for me is some people who work here dont speak english.it's not a major problem but I do have questions about some exotic things I've never seen before and would like to try but I need better information first

Employees cannot speak English. If you don't understand Mandarin, you have to give up any inquiries. You are in China here!

Good selection of Asian goods/food and has hot food counters with different kinds of Dim Sun, Chinese take-out, sushi and assorted juices.

Not bad since there aren't many other options around in terms of Chinese supermarket. Good selections. The fish/meat section is ok, definitely not as fresh as some of those in Chinatown or Markham. Be aware of the staff, most of them are very rude (especially the cashiers). Some will ignore and walk away from you if you don't speak Mandarin.

Omg so much mold on food. Expired products. Way past due.things they should throw away in the compost garbage and NOT sell for human consumption. The produce grossed me out: fruits and veggies were not edible. Ice cream and bakery was good tho hence I'm bit giving 1 star

The best Asian supermarket I have been to in Toronto. Great variety of food. Food is fresh. The cooked food section is always phenominal with great prices. So happy it opened so close to home. This area was always missing a place like this. The plaza is much more liven up ever since C&C opened!

I recommend going close to close and getting sushi at 50% off. Even without the 50% off, its the cheapest sushi in the city!

I ran into this Asian grocery store.since I can't read the writing I assume it is Chinese, Korean and Japanese foods. The store looks new. There are also English signs which help to navigate non Asian customers. The place is huge containing groceries, cooked food and a beauty section. I bought fresh veggies, the price and quality was great!
The items found in non culture stores are a bit more expensive here.
I asked staff if they had almond milk. She said no, then I found it.
Lining up and laying was fast and easy.
Overall I enjoyed my shopping experience and will definitely come again!

Our go-to-place for groceries and you will be surprised with their Filipino products, Chinese take-out and even exotic fruits and veggies. Their prices are affordable and cheaper compared to Metro, Longos and Loblaws. Plus, they have CoCo Milk Tea at the entrance!

Very clean and bright. Produce is fresh and neatly organized. The cooked BBQ meats are very well done!

Very specific to Japanese style. However generic consumer goods were also readily available to purchase at regular prices.

Went on January 14 for the first time. The store has good contents and variety of products. Bought couple of stuff, in which chips was one. Came home and had the chips only to realize mid way that it was expired. Really didn't expect such a big store to be selling something expired back in September 29. Not sure if would be visiting again but I'd recommend if you're buying anything please do check the expiration date.

Big store a lot of variety but confusing as heck to try and find something you're looking for. Been here half a dozen times and still can't figure out how they organize their aisles.

First time here at this Asian supermarket. I. Was. Blown. Away! They have a HUGE selection of international foods, more than I've seen at any other supermarket Asian or not! The store is very bright and clean (but they just opened) They also have hot prepared foods available. The best thing we're the prices! They are super cheap! I would have to say about 50% cheaper than Loblaws and still about 10-20% cheaper than in Chinatown! I even wanted to ask for the manager to tell them how blown away I was by the pricing! (But we has to go and couldn't wait!) Iam going to go back for sure 100%, next time I'm in the area as its a bit out of the way for me. I definitely recommend everybody to check out this place at least once to see the great prices for yourself! You. Will. Be. Amazed!

I came here the first time and it has so many asian products I have never seen before. I personally enjoyed it. Plus the store also plays a good upbeat fun music that makes you wanna stomp your feet and march. Lol. Overall it was a nice experience. It is also neat and clean. Although there are some products that dont have english translation especially those from japan or korea;
I would still recommend this store.

It was busy, but they had an amazing selection.we even found beef heart. And a Japanese hair product. The chip selection is fantastic.the garlic was wrapped in plastic wrap and seemed mooshy.other than that great variety and decent quality.
