You has your Centenary Optical" WRONG" Ravi having bad manners and arrogant? Not the Ravi I've been going to for the last 20 years, Food Basics Plaza on Neilson +Ellesmere Road. Wow!

The owner has no manners and is very arrogant. The optician told me to buy an expensive lens that supposedly would be great for my eye. When it arrived it was hurting. The owner told me that it could not be returned and took no responsibility in spite of the fact that I had been told to buy it.

Eye care and expertise to proper selection of my lenses and good follow up resolved my search for optical care with satisfaction Ravi and Dr Shyam are highly recommended at Centenary optical.

Dr Sham, Ravi and the staff are exceptionally professional, kind and helpful. They honestly strive to give the best service and we couldn’t ask for more. Thanks to all of them.

I started going to Centenary optical over 15 years ago. There were many red flags about this clinic. I decided to go back to this clinic after 6 years since I always had a great experience here. Firstly, when I reached out to book an appointment, the receptionist who answered this call was always in a rush to hang up. After not going to this clinic for 6 years, my primary phone number was not confirmed by the clinic since it has been changed. I have worked as a receptionist in the past for several years and the protocal is ALWAYS to confirm the phone number on file when a patient asks to book an appointment. When I returned the call to confirm the appointment (was reached at a number I have limited access to), I had notified the receptionist to take off the incorrect number they have been calling. Instead they have been reaching the wrong phone number numerous of times even though I have notified them to change it.
Regarding the optometrist at this location, Dr. Singh, this has been the worst experience I ever had with a health professional. He was arrogant and unprofessional comments were made that was not related to an eye exam. He was more concerned on giving cosmetology advice than checking my eyes. He mentioned that my dark circles were an issue and insisted I should wear a hat when Im outside even though I repeatedly told him I feel uncomfortable being commented on my skin condition. If I needed an opinion on my skin, I would have seen a dermatologist instead not an optometrist. Secondly, he stated that I should refuse from having a lash lift which he had no rights to talk about since that is not of his business. Again, I do not see how these comments are anything related to getting an eye prescription.
After my eye exam was completed, the lady working at the front asked me to pick out frames. At this point I was not given the option of being able to try the newly prescribed lens. Instead, the staff members were focused on making money off the frames. I asked her to let me try on the new lens before picking out a frame. She eventually gave me the lens and I told her it didn't help with my vision and they refused to do anything regarding it because that is what the optometrist had given them.
To conclude, the staff and optometrist here are unprofessional and I will not be returning to this location and highly do not recommend.

I have been seeing Dr Singh for more than 12 years, he is very professional and easy to deal with, I have seen other Eye Specialist before but my cercerns were never taken seriously, his guideness are always welcome. His exams are always in depth and not on the surface, his communication skills are always so efficient and professional. He is very honest with his diagnosis, does not sugar coat anything, his staff are very friendly, please do not hesitate to see him. I especially like to way he treats senior citizens. I have never face or see any discrimination in the clinic. I have read previous reviews on this clinic and came to the conclusion that we humans does not like to hear the truth about ourselves.

My family has been coming here for over 15 years. Dr. Singh and Ravi Joshi are professional, knowledgeable and provide excellent service. They treat us as family. There is a great variety of frames to choose from. The quality of their products is exceptional. The staff is polite, considerate and really take the time to assist us with our needs. I would recommend Centenary Optical to everyone.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Dr. Shyam Singh and Dr. Joshi for years. The staff at Centenary Optical are very friendly and helpful. I would advise anyone to come here for eye care or to buy glasses.
