Centennial Recreation Centre-Scarborough

Good facility. Easy access & parking. There are ‘bigger-&-better’ facilities but this one is right here and in Scarborough so it’s great to have this here. We don’t need another apartment building.

Hadn't been there for a while. We went there for an art show, but the place evidently stayed in the 1990's.perhaps even older.time to update/refresh/energize!

Kids and adults recreational activities are great. The Toronto efun registration makes it easier to access these facilities. My kid is enrolled in swimming and ice skating

This community centre is old, dirty, dusty, dim and is due for some updates. It's a game of hide and seek to locate the staff. This centre has two good sized skating rinks, a big gym, a swimming pool and plenty of parking. This centre is also surrounded by a large park, if you want a stroll.

Just heard that someone cut all the locks in Men's change room during Aquafit class on Tuesday. Stole anything of value, wallets, cell phones etc. Very disappointing and concerning. Now you have to bring all your stuff out to pool deck. In the Winter will have to lug winter coat and boots. Need to find out who did this. Lots of cameras upstairs.

Nice place for all your leisure activities like swimming, Ice skating etc. Everything is free of charge with outstanding staff. Great teaching coach for ultra 5 swimming.

Hockey Fams: Arena is COLD! Vending machines for drinks and snacks. No snackbar. Machines take debit cards!

Swim staff are disgustingly indifferent to the safety of swimmers. Barely legal young adults are left in charge of the lives of children in the pool. They're more concerned with flirting than lifeguarding. Staff behaviour and interaction with parents of children from the Learn to Swim program is rude at best.

The swimming pool isn't large size, very crowded during leisure swimming, very shallow water, yiu have to stay in very narrow area, not a good place to swim with kids. Change room is very old, no privacy, no family change room.

Very friendly staff. Clean facility with lots of aminities. I was there for ice skating lessons for my kids and myself.

Ample parking and they have nice cafeteria with a very friendly staff

Great hockey rink with a sunken seating area off the entrance. Dressing rooms are a bit old and paint is coming off the ceiling in some areas, but overall clean and functional for a City rink. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My daughter is in a swimming program at the Centennial Recreation Centre. The pool is on the lower level and you have to walk down some stairs to get to the changing rooms.

The pool is very nice but the rush of kids doing rowdy things (threw a basketball in someones face) during leisure swim is the worst.

Free skating. It can get a bit busy but it’s a nice rink without the side boards. Plenty of stands for people to sit and take a rest or if you just want to sit and watch the kids but not skate yourself. Plenty of free parking in the parking lot too.

If you have a family with kids, no better place than this neighborhood to live! This centre is completely free! What more to ask? You get skating rink, swim pool at one place! The pool water here is nice & warm so you & kids don't shiver; not as cold as PanAm centre.

I very rarely write reviews but I have to warn others about this pool. Absolutely TERRIBLE lifeguards! Especially the ridiculous "supervisor lifeguard" who is extremely rude to everyone. Your child can barely play without her barking about something. Not an isolated incident and have been a witness & subject to her awful attitude. Very surprised she still has this job. It would be a much better place without her. Wish I could give zero stars!

Great figure skating and hockey skating rinks. Warm dressing rooms to change in, along with water fountains. Both the figure skating and hockey rinks have spectator areas, but what make the figure skating rink unique is that it has an elevated heat spectator area.

I spent a lot of time here as a kid. I learned to swim here. We used to skate too. The building and facilities are definitely needing upgrading now.

There's something wrong w the staff here and they have been accusing me of doing illegal activities and making it sound like i'm forcing them to tell me that they won't tell anyone about the stuff they were doing.they even offered to charge my phone and then refused to charge my phone.i think they're mentally ill.

It's a great recreational facility, where, I know, all "drop in" activities are free! I'm sure like most, they have planned/organized activities, and for those, I can't speak to. Try out the dry sauna!:)

Lovely staff, lots of activities for family: Zumba, swimming, hockey etc
They even have a water dispenser, open to the public.

OOPS ANOTHER 5 STAR, WHY " WELL I LIVE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, THE PARK IS MY SANCTUARY I LVE IT, IN DOOR HEATED POOL ALL YEAR ROUND HOTTER IN WINTER. THEY HAVE A SKATING RINK AND THEY CHOOSE TO INVOLVE THEMSELVES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY THE STAFF. YOUR SURE TO FEEL THE WELCOME AND WARMTH OF THIS PARK AT ANY TIME.

This place is my alma mater and I cannot forget it. I have had best of the best times. From student to an intern, I had seen it all. This place has given me a personality growth and I am very proud of it. I recently got graduated and got the chance to go back and celebrate this beautiful evening with friends and family. I would always cherish my time here.

Good place for recreation. Swimming is free.

Most of the facilities here are free.

Tennis court is for members and it's just $75 for one season.

Very good Recreation centre near 1050Marakham road, Scarborrow, Torano.i m going daily for sweeming hear.so many activities are hear.i love this place.i win aword in swiming.

Went to my niece's debut party hereand the venue was dark. The front where the celebrant was dark that you can't even see her face from seating at the second lane of tables. Asked if they could turn all the lights and the lady at the reception was just too lazy to do it.

Nice, clean indoor rink with lots of staff assisting skaters. Cafe closed before public skate tonight (7 pm) so do plan to eat before and bring your own beverage/water.
