Highly recommend! I wouldn't trust the care of my cats anywhere else. Dr. Cheung and their staff are trustworthy, honest and genuinely care about their patients.

This is an excellent practice. Everybody works so hard and Dr. Cheung and her team have provided exceptional care for my cats since 2017. Just recently, my cat was in pretty rough shape. I called several times and each time somebody tried to support me in some way. I was emotionally overwhelmed. Central’s practice was slammed, just like so many others in London and across the province. Central’s webpage has provided a link to a great service to connect concerned pet guardians to emergency services which I did end up connecting with when my cat stopped eating. Despite having to go to Hamilton to seek care for my cat (I’m fortunate enough to have a car!), I understand why - like so many other professions, there are major staff shortages. The demand for services is putting a huge strain on all concerned. So please, consider this: all those who you meet who care for animals are passionate, caring, dedicated and very hard working people. Since Central Cat Hospital is a small practice, they have taken extra precautions with their good health and hygiene practices around masking and the spread of human illness to staff. It makes sense: if Dr. Dorothy ain’t there, the place shuts down. So please, always be kind and know that your vet and their support staff really, really cares! Let’s spread a little more love around!

Unfortunately, we've had repeated unpleasant experiences at this clinic. We had brought our two older cats in at first and had no issues with the staff, everyone was very nice and professional. We adopted a new kitten a couple months ago, and when we brought him in for his first appointment, we found out he had ear mites. Granted it was a lot of them (he came from a farm), but the veterinarian was very unprofessional when cleaning out his ears, repeatedly saying ''ew'' and ''gross'', and at some point said they were glad our kitten was their last patient because they'd have to throw away their lab coat. My partner and I were already feeling extremely bad about the fact our kitten was uncomfortable, and this reaction from the veterinarian made us feel like incompetent parents. We decided to let it go for that appointment, but our kitten went back last week for booster vaccines and again, we found that the veterinarian was very unprofessional when dealing with us. We are finding this lack of empathy and compassion very disturbing, as our cats are our children. We are now seeking other clinics to bring our cats to.

Best vet you can take your cats to, hands down. My cat suddenly became sick recently and the only thing making such a stressful experience slightly bearable is Dr. Cheung and the rest of the team at Central Cat Hospital. Wouldn’t even think of bringing my cats anywhere else! Thank you for being awesome.

Dr Cheung is a crazy cat lady of the best variety. She is empathetic, thorough, and very approachable.

Dr Cheung is an experienced, and caring vet. She explains everything very nicely and answers all questions patiently.

Everyone who works at the clinic are very experienced with handling cats and care for animals with the utmost dedication. They always give a reminder call before the appointment and even a call afterwards to see how kitty is doing.

My cat loves going to the vet because of the team at Central Cat.
