I've been a few times for ultrasounds at Pape and Danforth location. Had a good experience here. Receptionists answered the phone on my first call and even called me a day before my appointment for a reminder. I strongly recommend Svetlana- Ultrasound Technician! She was very professional, trained well in customer service, described the procedure very well, and was generally pleasant.

Quick, very nice staff; was able to get a walk-in chest x-ray done within 30 minutes and got the radiologist’s report the next day.

Just blown away at the efficiency and professionalism of this clinic. From the friendly gals at registration, to all three techs, everyone was respectful, professional, and efficient. Thank you to all for taking such great care. This is how a clinic is supposed to work!

This is a horrible horrible place. If you are doing a pregnancy ultrasound with a full bladder, go somewhere else. The receptionist is awful and has zero respect. They make you wait forever, so long that my boyfriend got upset. They getting rude like we did t have a reason to be upset. They tried to kick us out but I refused to leave because I just wanted to complete my ultrasound I had waited weeks for. Because of the results I then had to follow up with NIPT testing because the measurements were showing that my child had Down syndrome. After 10 days of agonizing over the results, I found out that my baby was fine and it was a boy However, if you want to avoid being treated like garbage and have them rush through your ultrasound, go anywhere but here.

I have been getting ultrasounds here for over twenty years! When I had my children this location was much more advanced than other ultrasound places. They offered high tech equipment and 3D and 4D prenatal ultrasounds. Since then it has become a different place all together, but still seems to offer a good experience. Understanding that this is a public Ohip medical office people shouldn't expect a luxury experience. You go in for your exam and you leave no one is obligated to chat and be your friend.they see hundreds of people in a week and just want people to have their tests and keep it moving! Today I had a ultrasound with sailine to look at my uterus! I was extremely scared but the ladies were very sweet and it was over with in minutes! I read online that it was painful but it was not just the cramps a few hours later sucked but nothing to extreme! Typical medical office it's not to fancy but not dirty like people are saying! It's just a dated building but it's a medical office not a spa! I would say my experience was great and I will continue to go to this location or the other insight locations

My experience with Rama was exceptional! I received an extensive knee and abdomen ultrasound from her… such a lovely and sweet person, who was not only professional but friendly.

Had a referral from a doctor went in and waited 45 minutes just to be refused medical care because my health card was expired. Very upset as I have broke ribs and have not had an issue anywhere else. Yes! I'll update my card but something that could harm me and make me wait that long is crazy. Thanks for being NO HELP ill never come here again. I only give 1 star because I can't give 0.

Horrible customer service, Came here for testing and and ultrasound got talk down to by the receptionist.

I had a ultrasound done yesterday. I screamed because this procedure hurt so bad. Had to call my doctor after this was done. This is not acceptable behaviour. Never again at this location

I've been here a few times for ultrasounds, they are on time and friendly. If you can request to have someone do your ultrasound, I definitely recommend Trisha! She was courteous, described the necessary procedures, asked for the appropriate permissions, and generally pleasant.

Well, maybe my experience is worth 4 and a half stars because I had a great experience overall. My original appointment was Wednesday and I called them telling the girl how sorry I was, that I had to cancel bc I really didn’t feel good. She was so nice and told me that I could come the next day. That made me feel so much better. The next day they called my name at my exact appointment time. Wow! When does that happen? So, the man that did my test did a great job I’m sure. I take a half star away just bc I’m picky I guess. He answered my questions, I just would not call him friendly. He just did his job, but I like maybe “ hi, how r u today and maybe “ have a good day at the end. I work in healthcare and I like when people are a little friendly and he said nothing besides what he had to say. It stood out to me. Besides that little bit, my experience was great. Got in and out so fast.

I’m leaving a review for this location because the front desk employee named Nicole was filling in for the location I was scheduled to go to today.

The location I was scheduled for today, the receptionist was very knowledgeable and helpful but made a human error by double booking my re-scheduled appt time.

I am upset and disappointed by the way Nicole handled the situation. She called me to inform me that I missed my original appointment time. No concern as to why. I explained to her that I had to re-book the time due to the testing instructions I was advised by my doctor. She was unprofessional, lacked any empathy, lacked any customer service skills, or possess any type of common sense or resolution. She quickly threw her colleague under the bus by saying she made the mistake not her.

After being extremely frustrated, I had asked to speak to the person in charge. She said it was her and offered to give me her HR’s number, NOT Head Office? “I” as the patient/customer had to give her ideas in solving this in which she didn’t seem to care or put any type of effort into. She refused to call her colleague to verify my claims. Furthermore failed to investigate, herself, when the second patient called to be booked in versus mine which was an earlier date.

This time of the month is very time sensitive at work and it doesn’t help being inconvenienced or basically made up to be a liar. Extremely bad impression or representation for this company.

II have experienced 3rd time here for ultrasound but first 2 experiences were good but 3rd time unfortunately I had not good experience the technician that was Indian lady was very harsh and rude and most important fact that she made false report of ultrasound may be by mistake because when I came here for scan I was actually 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant but she made the report that I am 6 weeks 3 days and no embryo no yolk sac no fetus just only sac than my doctor said we should wait for 2 weeks to see for heart beat because it is little bit worryingly that at 6 weeks 3 days no heart beat than doctor send me again for ultrasound I went another place and I found yolk sac with heart beat Alhamdulillah every thing was fine at that time I was 7 weeks so that was the technician mistake for making not correct report I remain too worry and was in extreme tension in those 2 weeks than Alhamdulillah at another diagnostic center they found everything was good and ok

They are right on it. Never have to wait long. Equipment is getting updated. They get all my images and reports delivered quickly. Personally - I think they are quite good.

We walk in at Pape and Danforth location the receptionist I think her name is Janet was very helpful assist us to get early appointment even we go to other location it’s ok for us. We went to their new location at Spadina branch and Geraldine help us. She was so nice and friendly. And the lady who did my daughter’s ultrasound thank you so much. Keep up the good work. Your office is so clean and well organized.

Went in for a chest xray and it was busy today. It's worth the wait because Graham who did my xray was respectful and polite. It was indeed a very good experience.

This is my first pregnancy after 2 years of infertility and a miscarriage. I've had 2 ultrasounds done here and left feeling very upset and extremely stressed. I asked for a photo from my 1st ultrasound and the tech told me "it's just a dot it's nothing" (didnt get one) that dot means everything to me. Second ultrasound which was today I asked again for a photo she said "we'll see" and at the end of it I asked again she said very awkwardly "sorry I didn't take any pictures. Like what the hell kind of answers are these? Very upsetting!

I'm sadly changing my prior 5 star review to 1 star. I've been here in the past and had great care/experiences. But on Saturday, I witnessed and had awful, unprofessional treatment. Staff talked to a patient in the waiting area about very personal details regarding mammography/biopsy recommendations and questioned both the patients decisions about biopsy and her doctors actions. Very disturbing to hear but impossible to block out the public discussion, since I was left waiting for quite a while. 30minutes while other patients that arrived after me were called in. I just waited though because xrays are walk in and other imaging is by appointment. But then the staff had a heated discussion about the schedule, ppl waiting, order of appointments right for all to hear. No one had even complained about waiting! It was not a very professional conversation. I understand the frustration about tracking appointment flow but the patients don't need to hear staff getting lectured and talked down to. The receptionist that greeted me was very nice. I think it was a different one that got spoken to by someone that was not very kind and calm.
Then, another person that arrived after me was called, immediately followed by my name. I got up to enter but stayed 6feet behind the other patient.due to covid precautions. I was chastised in an impatient tone to come along through the door. I was! Just at a distance.
In the xray suite, the technician immediately said my foot didn't look broken and even if it was nothing could be done. Are you kidding me? ! I asked if she was a doctor and was examining my foot and giving a diagnosis and prognosis.or if I would be getting an xray. She still wanted to give her 2 cents about her observation of my foot with her bare eyes, no xray. I reminded her that practicing medicine without a doctors license is illegal. I was not there for her medical opinion. I respect imaging technicians for what they do. But this one is extremely unprofessional. Seriously out of line and instead of apologizing or stopping her behavior just got indignant about being called out. Outrageous experience.

Worst I've ever been to. Receptionists are nice but the technician was very rude. She was very aggressive with the ultrasound, putting so much unnecessary pressure on my stomach. I have really good tolerance with pain however, it was never like that with other technicians at different imaging centres. By far the worst experience especially as it is my first pregnancy. DO NOT go here. I usually do not post reviews but I should have stuck with Toronto Ultrasound Imaging at the Bloor location.

Needed to take a 2.5 y.o. For a chest xray, and we went early in the morning. It was fast, efficient, and the x-ray tech was great with her, friendly and reassuring.

Staff needs training. Ultrasound Tech Scolded me like I was 4 years old. Rude, angry and rough. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

STAY AWAY. Front staff is doing their best but the male tech doing ultrasounds is angry, aggressive and unprofessional. As I was changing he yelled outside the curtain to hurry up. He yanked my torn shoulder, complained and berated me the entire exam and threw the paper towels at me. I threw them back and walked out wet. In the end the ultrasound was unreadable. My Dr.is no longer using this location because of multiple complaints. Patients shouldn't be defending themselves.

So I was wary of trying this place out because of the rating and then read through the reviews; the positive ones seemed really genuine and the place is so close by that I figured I'd give it a shot! And I'm SO happy I did! I've never had a smoother, easier ultrasound than here. Everyone was polite and patient, and I was in and out in like 20 minutes. I even thanked the tech at the end for making the experience so easy. I really don't understand the bad reviews, they don't line up with my experience at ALL. This will definitely be my go-to spot from now on.

My family doctor recommended me this place, which was unfortunate. When I called to book an appointment they responded with unjustified rudeness. Treat your patients better.

The staff were all very professional and polite and they worked with excellent efficiency.
Some woman was screaming and acting like a child and the staff were patient and remained pleasant.
I strongly recommend this clinic. I'm going to assume people complaining about them are the people that complain about everything.

Technicians are unprofessional, they should be properly trained in customer service. The physician was professional, she was well prepared, she on time, she was organized and also caring. But I have to admit this sonohysterogram was the most painful experience I ever encountered out of the 4 I have ever had done. That was also after I had taken 2 tylenols before the procedure. The other 3 were done at different clinics and I never had any issues. The technician was rude and lacks the ability to delegate proper instruction. I will never return to this location.

Technicians are helpful and seemed knowledgeable and empathetic. I waited for an hour for my scheduled appointment, which seems to be the usual practice, as they forwarned me.
Contrary to the technicians, Dr. Taman is very unpleasant (the blonde woman). I can't speak to whether she is competent or not. Maybe she was having a bad day; regardless, her attitude seemed unprofessional.

This clinic is super busy. I was told to arrive 20 mins before my appointment time but still has to wait over an hour after the appointment time to get my ultrasound. Another patient came out very upset as they conducted the wrong procedure on her.

Im giving 2 stars as my actual procedure went well. The doctor and technician were professional.

I was in pain after the procedure and was rushed out of the change room by one of the staff when I could hardly walk.

My doctor said the report she received from this clinic was obviously cut and paste and contained two contradictory statements. I had to repeat the ultrasound at another clinic.
My neighbour also had a very bad experience here which I won't detail, I just highly recommend going somewhere else for your imaging needs.

Staff insist that my health card is expired, meanwhile the Ontario government's phone line and website say that all expired health cards remain valid through the pandemic. Refused service because of this.

Excellent service. Had appointment at 10 am, got there 10 minutes early and my ultrasound was finished by 10: 05. Very nice and professional staff.

I live very close to this business. I had an ultrasound on Tuesday Sept. 8,2020, the guy who did my ultrasound was so rude, so impatient, I wanted to walk out. A nasty little character who either doesn't like his job or doesn't like women. Either way, he shouldn't be working with the public.
A very small waiting room and with Covid, there's not much space to wait, very busy.

I had two appointments here and they both went very well. The wait time was a little bit longer than I would have liked but understandably so. The front desk staff and technicians were all courteous and great!

Decided not to come here just because the receptionist is very rude. I tried to make an appointment because my doctor referred me, and I told the receptionist everything my doctor told me. As this is my first pregnancy I’m just overall scared & unsure about a lot of things, and the receptionist just made it worse. She made me feel dumb & questioned everything I said even though I told her everything I knew. She was clearly very annoyed and impatient. Decided this wasn’t the kind of atmosphere I should be stressed by and called another image diagnostic location, and the receptionist was 110% more kind and even educated me a little on my pregnancy. Receptionist needs to be more compassionate and needs some training on customer service. Your job isn’t being rude to people.

Worst customer service! Not helpful at all and rude. I called so many times about my xray and ultrasound results and they were sending back to my doctor only the xray. I was keep calling for my ultrasound report and the only response I was getting is they are together and hanging up to my face.

I've had my X-rays done but they havent faxed any of them to my doctor. I called and asked them to fax it over but they still havent done it. I've tried calling numerous times now but nobody will pickup at the front desk anymore. I will never get an Xray done here again.

I’m always suspicious of extreme reviews. Very negative ones often make me think that a competitor business is trying to dishonestly stack the deck or that the expectations of the reviewer must have been strangely unrealistic. So I’m glad that I didn’t let some of the bad reviews about this place scare me off.

I went midday on a Wednesday for an x-ray. Reception was courteous and quick. I did not need an appointment. There was almost no wait. The radiologist was pleasant and professional. The facilities are clean if dreary in the way that labs and imaging places always are. I was done within 20 minutes of arriving.

Couldn’t have been more conveniently located or speedy. I’m glad to have ignored the naysayers.

We were told on the phone that we should just walk in with a 3 week old baby.

We traveeled in extreeme cold weather with a baby. On arrival the receptionist was very rude, unprofessional and not at all representative of a health institution.
She did not accept us and told us we are basically lying and werent told to come in.

This receptionist should be fired, and you will see your reviews and service improve.

The woman has to be a sociopath to not care about children and about wellbeing of people.

Was here this evening accompanied my relative for xray. Service was great. The receptionist is warm and accommodating.
I had been to this clinic and I saw how rude patients treated a staff especially receptionist, a big salute to the receptionist who stood her ground, very calm and very professional in handling a bad situation. She still manage to smile in a bad situation.

Worst Place in the world! Staffs are rude very unprofessional. Place is really dirty. No consideration for people's time. Waited 1 hr and a half for an xray and when I asked for an update they misplaced my xray form. And when they finally got me inside and got me undressed the lady went on her break so I had to wait another half hour!

Honestly had a good experience here. I was taken in under 10 minutes. My technician was really thorough and professional during the X-Rays. Also my doctor go the results promptly with a follow up call afterwards. Maybe my experience was a one-off but it wasn't bad by any means.

I had xrays of my feet here and all went well. I didn't have to wait too long even though there were a lot of people waiting (I assume for a range of procedures). The receptionist and technician were both very nice and efficient. I am planning to go back for a second round.

Please don't use this clinic. Staff are unbelievably rude, the place is filthy, the equipment is broken. The Ministry of Health needs to be notified.

I had a great experience here today. I assumed it would be busy as it's a Saturday morning, but no. I got there at 8.50am, the doors were open. The receptionist was very friendly, took my health card and x Ray request form, informed me that x Ray's start at 9.30am, so I took a seat.
9.28am came, and my name was called.
The radiologist was lovely. A very sweet and kind lady. Very professional too.
Couldn't ask for more from an x Ray appointment.
I see a lot of poor reviews, I'm not sure why. Remember this is public healthcare. If you want to be out by a certain time, then get there early. It's not their fault you had to wait, it's first come, first serve.

They are very unprofessional rude and heartless. They booked the appointment over the phone and when I got there oneof the technicians was not there and they tried to hide it by saying that I didn't understand when I booked the appointment. The technician admitted that the other technician simply was not there. Never going there again. They get paid to be rude and they are acting like they are doing us a favor.

Some receptionists, especially South-Asian one is very rude.
They need the training in Patient-Centered-Care.

After reading all the reviews, I was worried about having an ultrasound there. However, everything went very well. The receptionist was courteous and I really like the technician. She answered my questions and we had small talks. I also received a picture. I went to other ultrasound places way worst than that one.
