Choosing CTVRC was the best decision we've made for Shadow. The entire team genuinely cares about the well-being of our little friends. Dr. Goldstein is an expert in his field and takes the time to thoroughly discuss all available options and treatments. What sets them apart is not only their exceptional knowledge and skills but also their compassion toward both pets and pet parents. Their open communication and attentiveness made it easy to trust them when we had to hospitalize our kitty on multiple occasions. We are grateful to the entire CTVRC team for their hard work and dedication.

I was too panicked and missed her name, but I would like to thank the lady who helped me tonight with the concerns I had about my dog. She was so patient, honest and knowledgeable and only the second person working in a vet office I have met who genuinely wanted to help, and not after my money. I really appreciate that. I looked into what she suggested could be wrong and, considering the newly introduced cheese and pizza crusts I am guilty of sharing, it makes sense! She took the time to explain why the horrible suggestions Google had were unlikely and politely hinted that my panicking could be contributing to the weird behaviors. I felt much better, and calmer. The dog felt it too and started to relax. She is definitely not dying, just snoring now because mom kept her up all nightl! I'lll monitor her for the next few days, no more people food, a bath, and allergy tests at the next vet visit, but I have a feeling the biggest Allergins are coming straight from me!

Thank you again for your kindness, professionalism, and patience, from both of us!

Kylee ended up having hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Because of the urgency, we were off the waitlist in just an hour.

All the staff are amazing. The front desk is so warm and sweet, and so are the vet techs.

Dr Manning was professional and clear, made sure to stop and ask if I had questions instead of rushing out of the room. She was efficient but not rushed, and always gave me the right amount of information. Her phone updates were also just as great. I know Kylee was very nervous and stressed and I'm happy she was put on anti anxiety meds so she didn't have to be so scared. I was really relieved to know she had experience with Shepherds as well. I'm always concerned people will be cautious of Kylee because of her breed, but she's a really sweet girl and I'm glad the CTVRC team was able to see that.

Dr Martens was able to give me an overnight update, and it was so relieving to hear her be called a sweet girl, because I knew that meant she was feeling less nervous and a bit better.

The only negative thing about this experience was their location! Right by the Allen exit off Eglinton so there is always a lot of cars and it's a tricky spot to park/leave.

Thank you so much for taking care of her. She's feeling so much better.

I’m very thankful for an emergency clinic, they dealt with us very efficiently made us feel safe staff was great I have to thank the owners for opening an amazing place to help animals at all hours of the day. Me and Leia are super grateful and are very happy with the tender care we got

Had my cat come in February 25th as he was throwing up since the evening before. The doctor did a physical & bloodwork, said everything looked good. Discharged him with medicine and care instructions. Come the outlined time to give my cat water and food (around 8PM), he wouldn't take. Then he began vomiting, again. I called Central Toronto in the evening stating my concerns and was told "well, it is just the first night on medication". Excuse me? First night, yes. So much can happen in that first night!

My cat continued to vomit so I took him to a different emergency vet seeing as Central Toronto had such an ignorant response. The new vet evaluated him and looked at the bloodwork completed by Central Toronto - the bloodwork was was NOT good, my cat had a low platelet count! He's being cared for the right way, receiving an IV drip and the appropriate medication.

Just because you may see similar situations a number of times within a given day does not mean you half-heartedly care for the pets placed in your care.

As good vibes as you could possibly have at such a stressful time. Their online check in process makes everything so much easier. Staff were incredibly kind and personable and eager to answer questions. I feel good knowing I can call here 24/7 and know good care is available

Found a tick on my dog this afternoon and after calling many 24 hour clinics, this is the first place who said they could take him right away. They removed the tick and checked the rest of his body for me. They offered knowledge on what to look for and next steps. The staff was kind and gentle with my large anxious lab. Definitely would recommend for after hours visits you need for your pet!

No compassion for people that are struggling. The prices that they charge People are just ridiculous.why can’t a veterinarian help someone that has very little money. My sister had to put her dog down. It’s was emergency situation The dog was actually screaming because of the pain that he was in. He was 17yrs old. Her best friend. She struggles with depression and anxiety. Now she Owes more money that she doesn’t have.

Very pleased with the service and care I received for my cat Teddy at CTVRC and would highly recommend this clinic. I had quite a scare with Teddy earlier this month during a sudden onset of acute pancreatitis. He was in extreme pain and I felt so helpless with his regular vet being closed for the day. I am so thankful I found CTVRC in those moments and checked in via their streamlined text system. I was immediately notified of an opening for Teddy and brought him in within 20 minutes. He was seen right away and unfortunately needed to be hospitalized. I have never experienced anything like this before, but was comforted in knowing that I would receive regularly scheduled updates. Teddy was hospitalized for 6 days and while it was one of the toughest experiences I’ve been through, I knew that CTVRC was on top of it all. The staff are extremely patient and understanding and are more than happy to provide updates and answer any questions. I received photos and the staff kept me fully updated during Teddy’s stay. I never felt rushed or made to feel that Teddy wasn’t a top priority.

I am incredibly grateful for the care and compassion that CTVRC showed me and Teddy and would not hesitate to recommend their services. Thank you to the reception staff; Dr. Goldstein; Dr. Ho; Dr. Druck; Dr. Collins; Dr. Vozner; and Cassandra.

I felt like my pets were in good hands immediately after having talked to staff here. They took great care of my little guy who needed knee surgery and kept me very well informed throughout which made me feel much better about having to go through this stressful process.

Thanks to the incredible staff and especially Dr. Rhea Plesman, our lovely girl, Sunday is back home with us again. Your clinic managed to get our girl in far quicker for her cancer treatment than any other clinic in Southern Ontario. The speed in which you complete the entire process from, initial exam, scans etc and the final operation to remove the mass was truly wonderful. Very professional and wonderful place to trust our pets to. Highly recommended for sure.

We can’t say enough about this amazing place.
Our dog had a tumor on his hind leg and out of 3 options, removing his leg was unfortunately the best one. Dr Kry spoke to both my partner and I for lengthily periods of time (1+ hrs) never giving any indication that she was needed elsewhere. She just listened to us and answered any questions with understanding and empathy.
We both called a number of times to check up on our boy, and the staff was helpful and courteous and not once did they seem bothered by us.
Thank you for helping us make the right decision, and giving our fur baby a new lease of life.

Unable to reply to their reply (under my Mzz_Thea account) where they stated they see a file but don't see that i saw a doctor. I didn't see a doctor because when i called to notify them I was outside the lady on the phone bombarded me with questions and comments about wanting money for this and that and telling me I have to pay for procedures the vet does even if they don't ask my permission first until I said "it's fine I'll go elsewhere". All of a sudden she stopped and said ok thank you. Again, I would not recommend this location. Go elsewhere.

This place is clearly about making money, left them almost $7000 and the next morning they asked me for more money…clearly no compassion for what a person with a sick pet is going through, every check up call was about them needing more money it drove me so crazy I thought about taking my life because I felt like a failure that I didn’t have more money.
The dr also asked me to apply for a new credit card…yes this was the conversations I had when I was worrying about my sick dog. Then it gets better…I called to get a refill on my dogs meds and 3 different calls 3 different people said the dr would call me back but no one ever did. (they figured he has no more money who cares about him now. Overall it was a traumatic experience.

We are extremely thankful for everyone at this clinic. Everyone provided exceptional service and really helped us through an incredibly stressful time. Our cat was diagnosed with urinary stones last month, and we cannot thank the staff enough for their care, expertise, excellent communication, abundance of patience (especially since we called quite a bit), and overall positivity.

We visited the clinic twice and the staff always took the time to thoroughly explain to us every procedure, requested consent for each procedure, and called us with updates. Our follow-up questions through phone calls when we were at home were also thoroughly answered. There was also an instance where they did not have the capacity for our cat, which they clearly communicated, and provided us with advice on what we could do in the mean time. We completely understood, given the urgency of our cat's symptoms at that moment in time and how many patients they had that night.

Our cat is doing so much better now and this clinic played a huge part in getting her the help she needed.

They were absolutely horrible. Would not see my critical and directed me to another clinic. When I called that clinic they told me that it was an emergency and this clinic should and has an obligation to see my cat. I called back and they still turned me away because they have to many other patients. They first said there was no technician available then produced one when pushed. They are liars and I would not trust them with my pet

Ultimately we had to make the hard decision to put to sleep our beloved cat Tengu, but everyone at CTVRC has been wonderful. Dr. Goldstein is so compassionate and knowledgeable. Our cat had to stay at CTVRC for several days, and we got regular updates about everything they were trying to do to make Tengu feel better and save his life. We knew that when the end came, it was after everything possible has been tried. Everyone at the clinic also made us and Tengu feel special until the end. When I need a specialist or emergency services for my other cats in the future, I will be definitely reaching out to CTVRC. Thank you so much for everything you did for Tengu.

Excellent care - My 12-year old cat had very high level of calcium in blood. Dr Goldstein in CTVRC is very careful in analyzing and diagnosing the issue. He recommended the best course of action (in retrospect) to cure the illness. Dr Kry in CTVRC provided excellent care and expertise in surgery. Both pre-op and post-op care are done in the most caring manner. I was well informed of the steps upfront. All my questions along the way are thoroughly followed up. While I cannot enter the hospital, the team from intake to technicians are coordinated seamlessly via phone/emails. My cat is very lucky to be cared for by loving professionals of CTVRC.

Dr Goldstein and the team at CTVRC are amazing! They have been helping us with both our dogs, Jak and Bella, that unfortunately had health issues for many years. Without the support we received none of our dogs would have reached 11.5 and 13 years. Always available, always looking for best options for my babies and super patient with all my questions. My baby girl had appetite issues and the whole team was trying to patiently get her to eat while in hospital. The team is super busy, but I never felt that in the care and responsiveness we experienced, and I know that comes at a high cost on their personal work live balance. Thank you so much Dr Goldstein & Team for being with us through this journey all the way to the end!

I had to take my cat to the emergency clinic a couple weeks ago. I was really worried he was having trouble passing bowel. The secretary was very friendly and helpful taking my info, although I think it was busy, being Sunday with emergency calls. I arrived in the morning to drop my cat off. Although I could not go in, I felt he was in good hands. The vets and vets assistant were all very helpful with the information they gave me.they provided print out information for me to take home. I was provided with some antibiotics and some pain medication for my cat, and he's good as new. Will definitely be returning if I'm ever in need of emergency care. I would recommend visiting here if you're in need of an emergency clinic.

We knew the end was near for our beloved dog Stella, but she took a turn for the worse on a Friday evening. We called many 24h vet clinics to see if they would be able to take her in on such short notice. The people at CTVRC were so kind and understanding, even right from our initial phone call. We were not allowed to be in the clinic due to Covid protocols, but they did have a back porch set up where we were allowed to be with Stella when it was time to say goodbye, which we really appreciated. Thank you to all the staff at CTVRC for taking good care of us and making this difficult time a little bit more bearable.

I just got off the phone with Dr. Pan. This is the second time we have communicated after the initial diagnostic meeting. Because there was still something unclear and we wished to consult her again, she called us again to answer our concerns without any charge.
For the first diagnosis, Dr. Pan spent 40 minutes going over our cat's current condition, the recommendations for subsequent diagnostic treatment, and was detailed and honest.
While we may have chosen conservative treatment based on our cat's current health status, we still appreciated her professional advice.

We brought our cat Gimli here when he was very sick and he ended up staying at the clinic for 5 days. We found everyone to be very kind, patient and experienced. We had frequent calls on his status, were able to visit and even had a photo sent to us one night. Unfortunately it was discovered he had cancer and there wasn't anything we could do for him. It was such a hard and stressful experience getting to his diagnosis but I am happy with the care our kitty received here and the steps the doctors took to find what was happening. Thanks to all the staff.

The staff here are so wonderful and accommodating! They were able to see our kitty right away and kept the lines of communication open, making sure to explain the treatment process each step of the way. Yvonne in particular was so incredible and really went the extra mile to accommodate us and our kitty. Big thanks to Yvonne and all the staff!

I DO NOT recommend this place. Such disgusting service. My cat nearly died tonight because this “animal hospital” refused to see my cat. I told them it was an emergency and she had been throwing up so much. They said “monitor her instead we cant see her” even tho they first told me they have availability … i drove an hour away to another emergency clinic who quickly took her in and injected her with fluids and helped her.

Short version: The lack of care or attention paid to my pet’s aftercare was heartbreaking. If you take your pet here, please be extra detailed and on top of the administrative aspects with the clinic so you don’t go through what I did. You will have to spend extra time and energy making sure things have been done properly.

Long version: A month after my pet passed I still hadn’t received his remains or heard anything after weeks of placing my order for a cremation and urn with the company the clinic partners with. I followed up with the clinic to inquire on the status of the remains, only to find out that my cat had been at the clinic the entire time and still was. They had not released him to the external cremation company, nor was it ever communicated to me that after placing my order with the external company that I was to call the clinic and release a hold. To further complicate things, they had also charged me for a communal cremation but told me I would be getting an individual one because of an error on their part (individual was also what was reflected on my order with the external company). When I called the clinic to figure out what was going on, I was condescendingly told that I would have to pay an additional $200 because of the miscommunication. After paying, I was reassured that they would release the hold immediately and I would be cc’ed on the email communication. I received the invoice immediately but a few hours later I still hadn’t seen anything about the hold being removed, so I called again to follow up. The hold had still not been removed. I was told the paperwork would be done at some point that night. At this point I had completely lost trust in the clinic and called again the next morning to confirm, with no update. Two days after I was told the hold would be removed immediately, I was CC’ed on an email between the clinic and the cremation company, correcting a further mistake that had been made by someone at the clinic. After this, everything was finally sorted out and on the right track. The experience lost my trust in the clinic completely and I hate to think what would have happened if I hadn’t continued to check in and follow up on a regular basis. The staff need additional training on proper procedures and communication in regards to end-of-life care. No one should have the added responsibility of being so on top of the clinic, and the added stress of wondering if things will be taken care of properly, during a time of grief. A truly awful experience.

Dr Rattray, Leah and all of the staff were great to us and our cat Bits. We came from Burlington because we couldn’t find a clinic who would take us after hours that was closer. We are forever grateful for the care that we received.

My gremlin-cat Enzo has been here a few times, including once for a surgical procedure; every time we’ve come in my experience has been fantastic!

All of the staff are knowledgeable and thoughtful; doctors and techs are excellent at breaking down and explaining diagnoses and procedures in a way I can understand, so I always feel like I know what’s going on even when things are uncertain.

They are excellent at keeping you updated about your visiting pet’s condition and will call to check in AM and PM, often even when things are going fine and there’s no news to report. I appreciate that because I know they are really busy!

I’ve been nothing but impressed, I love them even more than my actual vet.

NEVER GO HERE IF YOU HAVE FINANCIAL ISSUES. My mother In law took her VERY LOVED exotic cat here for a urinary blockage. She was quoted $500 on the phone for the first appointment that she was more than willing to pay. She went and dropped the cat off. To then receive a call from the doctor stating that it was going to cost $3,700 for treatment and that he needed 100% payment upfront. She asked for a pay-plan as $4000 is not cheap and no one has that just in their pocket. He told her no. She then wanted to have her cat back to get a second opinion, which she was denied until her cat's treatment was done. What really gets to me is that how are they going to hold someones animal hostage instead of giving the animal back to go for a second opinion. This clinic then, REPORTED HER TO ANIMAL WELFARE, she was then forced to surrender her support animal that has gotten her through some very hard times. I do not believe that they have ANY right to deny a person their animal ESPECIALLY when no treatment was done. If there is ANYONE out there that knows how to deal with this situation or how she can get her cat back please let us know.

I brought my kitten here to see the internal specialist! I could not be more happy and comfortable! From the first phone call with the reception to checking bean in, to the porter taking bean in and bringing him out! Just awesome! Then Dr. Pan being on the phone with me for 40 minutes discussing every detail of my kitten's health. Ruling out things, discussing the best course of action for his issue. She even let me talk about my concerns with a medical issue not even related and gave me the best way to handle that issue through this office! She calmed me with how thorough she was and how much she cared about my kitten. Then we received Bean back and he wasn't even as scared as he normally is with the regular vet! And we received his medication and they had his name and hearts on the bag! This little thing means the world to me! I'm so concerned for him and they treated him like their own! One happy fur-mama! Thank you so much! And look forward to the future with your clinic and Dr. Pan!

Dr. Michael Goldstein is not a very good oncologist/microbiologist. Before the appointment, he stood in the adjoining room and bragged loudly how he was a microbiologist and how important he was. I am not sure whose benefit that was for, but it was obnoxious. He then misdiagnosed my whippet with Histiocytic sarcoma and delivered the news with zero attempt at compassion or empathy. He told me my dog had 1 to 3 months to live. This was 3 years ago, my whippet is still alive and perfectly healthy. He also tried to convince me that chemo doesn't effect dogs, which I can't confirm but seems suspect and like he was trying to bully me into paying for chemo for a dog was had supposedly 3 months max to live. Don't go to this vet.

The staff here are amazing and treated our dog like one of their own. They were there anytime we had questions or concerns after he was home with us. Very patient, professional and helpful! Highly recommend, if unfortunately you need an animal hospital for you pet.

Don’t take your pet to this place if you love them. I’m sad to say but this place takes the easy way out and they charge you a ridiculous amount of money and take advantage of you during the worst possible time of your life. Thanks for letting us down DOCTOR HO! And also thanks for charging us $800 for joint tap on our dog when we said let’s focus on one problem at a time! And you went ahead and did it anyways! She didn’t even have the balls to face us afterwards. SHAME ON YOU!

My dog had the unfortunate experience of needing three back-to-back major orthopedic surgeries this year, and I am so grateful that we had Dr. Plesman to work with for this extremely difficult process. She did an excellent job with the surgeries themselves but also went above and beyond to help on more than one occasion, and she had all the patience in the world not just for my dog but also for me as I struggled to remain optimistic for a lot of the latter portion of the extended recovery process. Dr Plesman helped both Lexi and I to stay in the game and I am so grateful for it as we are now almost back to "normal". The staff at CTVRC were also so kind and patient, it's been very difficult to go through this all and especially during COVID, but they really came through. Thank you all so much!

Hy everyone.
I would Not recommend Central Toronto Veterinarian! I believe that if you love your pet that is a lot of options in Toronto so you can take care of your pet. They take advantage of you in a moment of crisis!
They over price me and promise to a service a service that they didn't do!
And because they didn't align my dogs leg when they were supposed to now my dogs leg can't be fix 100%!

It is sadly that we had to true this and is upsetting to know that I couldn't count on them to do a good job!

Our cat’s health was declining and all vets and emergency clinics were fully booked for days. They took our cat in. While the outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, they were so incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. Because of the current situation, we were worried we wouldn’t be able to be with her to say good bye. However, they provide a safe environment on an outdoor patio and we were so appreciative of that. Thank you all again!

My little guy was sick week prior brought him here yes did ultra sound, blood meds, today he threw up blood hasnt been eating, called to get him in they told me it's full capacity, I called other locations they informed me that THEY MUST TAKE HIM they started a medical file had to demand to get him on, how can someone turn their patient away I'm so upset

This is a good 24hr emergency veterinary clinic, I brought my dog angel here to get checked, she was 13yrs old and really sick, they let me know how much it would cost to try to get her back in good shape but it was way to pricey and I already knew it would not be fare for angel to go through that so I made the hard choice to put her to sleep, the veterinary Doctor was awesome and so was the rest of the staff they were so nice and understanding and allowed me to be with her before to say my goodbye and after, they are really at good communication.

If your pet needs urgent or complex care - DO NOT HESITATE - take them here! The vets at this hospital are incredibly professional and knowledgeable yet also compassionate and friendly. I thought a hospital that sees lots of sick pets every day would be cold and uncaring, but that is the farthest thing from them.

We brought out 12 year old dog, Toffee, in critical condition after a few vets told us there's not much to do. They immediately ran some tests and told us exactly what's going on, and gave us a details plan of action. From the very first moment we felt like our pet is in the BEST hands possible, they gave us so much peace of mind. He's been with them for a few days now, and they keep updating us constantly, and sending us pictures and videos, and answer any questions we have very patiently. Absolutely the best. They treat our pet as if it was their own.

Bringing my pet in for the emergency care on a severe digestion issue, when they had suggested what services we had to get her, they firstly gave what seemed to be the most expensive option absolutely discarding the problem of financial issues, speaking to them further and understanding what they were charging us, we ended up with less than half the price they initially suggested. The waiting times for when we had to pick up our pet were also quite long since she had to be in surgery at another clinic as soon as possible. For the files they had to send to the other clinic so they could begin surgery, I was first told over the phone that the files would be sent out tomorrow which was unbelievable and I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't called for the files to be delivered immediately to the other clinic.

This place is complete trash, the vets are just trying to milk you for every last dollar you have. Our cat had a bacterial infection in her Uterus and was really sick. The Vet kept saying she needs to be spayed that night or she would die. The kicker was is that a common procedure that would cost $600, was now $5000 at this clinic. She kept scaring us that our cat was going to die if we didnt do the procedure that night. We couldn't afford it so we took her to Bloor West Animal Hospital. They completed the treatment for $1000, including overnight treatment.

This place will try to scam you for every last cent because they know you are scared and live you pets. That us cruel for a place that is supposed to proce compassionate care.

It is not often that I take the time to leave a review, but I wanted to give a ‘shout out’ to the great team at CVRTC! My senior maltese has many complicated and ongoing digestive issues that have become increasingly challenging and have greatly affected the quality of his life. We had the good fortune to obtain an appointment with Dr. Stephen Kruth (internal medicine). Dr. Stephen Kruth was exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough and professional. My doggie has visited a number of veterinary specialists over the years, but I can confidently say that my experience with Dr. Kruth was by far the most positive. As any pet parent may well understand, it is beyond stressful and scary when your pet is ill and in pain. I greatly appreciated that Dr. Kruth took the time to thoroughly discuss my dog’s health issues and answer all my questions/concerns (and I had many!) in a very patient, kind and compassionate manner. In addition, he was timely to return my calls and deliver any pertinent information. I can say that I feel 100% confident in his diagnosis and can breathe easier knowing that my 'fur baby' is under his highly competent care and guidance. I also wanted to mention, that the reception staff was very friendly, always helpful and very efficient. Kudos to handling everything so well during the challenging times of COVID-19. Keep up the good work!

We were recommended to then for our dog by our vet and they were great with him.our specialist took all the time with us and even gave us personal calls on his own time to get updates from us. His surgery went good and his stitches healed beautifully.

It's been a tough year for our dog Verne, he had two TPLO surgeries on his hind knees. Dr. Plesman has been with us since the beginning and has gone above and beyond given all the check ins and scares along the way in recovery - she is super considerate and aware of how surgeries like this affect not only the dog but its people. We never felt pressured to make costly decisions in a vacuum and they always offered us options and time. You really get the impression that when the dog is there, that he is well taken care of.

We took our 8 month old puppy to this vet yesterday as she hurt herself at the dog park. She was seen by the triage nurse and she assured us that our puppy didn't need any further testing. (just some ice to bring down some of the swelling) It would have been a long wait to see the doctor but we were confident in her assessment. We were so impressed that they didn't try to push unnecessary xrays on us. I highly recommend! (she is back to herself today!)

10/10 amazing people who really care about your animals here. The pricing is very high but that comes with being 24 hours I guess. Cannot reccomend enough if you have an unfortunate emergency.

Great doctors, techs and the visiting room was very nice.

Pumba is doing much better since we took her here. Again cannot reccomend high enough

Dr Ho, and her team, were very kind, caring, empathetic and incredibly wonderful. Thanx for setting my Biscotti on one of the biggest snow storms of 2019.

Our dog had to have knee surgery to correct a genetic issue. We had a consult with Dr. Kry.she was very thorough with her explanation of the issue. She took the time to explain the situation. When our dog went in they took great care of him. The technicians were great with our dog. Big thanks to the doctor and the team for their work.

We are extremely thankful for CTVRC. The staff and vets are top in their field. Our cat has consistently received excellent care here. Protip: give yourself extra time to get there because the Eglinton Crosstown construction has caused some parking and traffic chaos

Exaggerated, Do what no need to do, Waste your money, Always warning your pet will die if no immediate treatment, No kind heart on pet, Not correct diagnostic, Inaccurate Update, Over charging and Wrong treatment time calculation, Completely Lying

Not trustworthy, Will never come back

Dr Kavonic, Dr Vozner and Dr Chan are all lying. The clinic overcharged me by doubling the consultation time and fee. The clinic never sent all the tests to the labs until I asked for the exam result. Therefore, I only got the complete report after one week my dog was discharged from the clinic.

Because this clinic just loves your money and does nothing. Lying!

After two weeks, still no exam result nor over charge refund. Terrible!

I came here after our cat passed away at home at 1am on Thanksgiving weekend, without knowing what I was supposed to do. Was helped with compassion and caring given the sad reason for visiting, very thankful to have had kind help that night - thank you!

Great service my Great Dane comes to see Dr. Finora and he is amazing and so is the rest of oncology. I’ve also had to see Dr. Plesman for surgery! The whole clinic is amazing and the staff are great! Number 1 referral/emergency clinic!

I brought in my cat for heatstroke, after returning late from work one night to a really hot apt I’d recently moved to and hadn’t yet set up the a/c. My cat was panting heavily and vomited. I used a cool wet towel to bring down his temp and found this clinic nearby. He hates car rides and hyperventilates every time, and hisses during visits to the vet.
The front staff was ok, but I had a bad experience with the vet, who seemed dismissive and asked if he’d eaten marijuana, which at first I took as a routine question. However, she wouldn’t let go of the idea he’d eaten some and questioned that he was anxious? I don't smoke at all, wasn’t around smokers nor had there been anyone in my home, so it wasn’t like she was smelling anything. I don’t know how she came to that conclusion without cause. She pushed for blood tests, etc, with a ridiculous price tag. It’s around midnight by this point, she hadn’t really given feedback concerning the heat stroke, and I had a strong feeling she was trying to take advantage. I declined the test, and luckily my cat was totally fine!
Over the years going to my regular vet, my cat goes from a cuddler at home to hissing, and not once has my vet grilled me about it. They are very experienced and seem to take it in stride. I took him to my own vet years before, when he seemed sick from the heat and they checked him over and quickly determined he was ok and wasn’t dehydrated, etc. In contrast, I just felt the vet here was using whatever she could to justify unnecessary work. Although this visit wasn’t recent, I thought of this experience and decided to post after seeing other concerning reviews. I was really uncomfortable by the time I left, wouldn't use them again and do not recommend this place.

We took our cat there for emergency admittance and they were kind and professional. They gave us all the information they could and were patient and considered with our options. They onviously care a great deal for your animals and treat them like the family members they are. It made a harrowing experience comfortable and we very happy with the outcomes. We never felt hurried or condescended to and they always made time for our questions. I hope you never need their services but if we ever need them again we will definitely return.
