Centretown Community Health Centre

First day I walk in, not even 5 minutes wait till I was being processed and intaked. Took no time at all until I was escorted to a private room. My nurse practitioner she's AMAZING, her name is Elizabeth Cain and she REALLY looks after her patients. Great place for relapse prevention or safe supply, LOTS OF SUPPORTS AND REFERRAL SERVICES. I absolutely love this place!

The doctor and nurse are nice and professional. I feel warm when I was pregnant and also the postpartum period

I can’t say enough about what an excellent health care facility this is. I’ve been a patient for nearly 50 years and have never found anything to complain about. It has changed over the years as the demands have increased and ministry of health policies have changed. The important aspects which have not changed are: The courtesy and personal attention paid to even the most disrespectful client/patients is truly commendable. I have regularly been attended to by nurse practitioners they do not hesitate to confer with MDs or refer to specialists when required. We need more nurse practitioners and community clinics like we have in Centertown.

I went there to get help with dealing with a serious matter and the ones who are supposed to help you only made it worse and think it was ok for me to be suffering and said that I have no rights to anything.

Wonderful, wonderful clinic. Even though the wait times were long and things were kind of nuts due to the construction when I was getting started on T a few years ago, the staff made the process as streamlined as possible and never made me feel alienated or unworthy of their services. They not only got me on testosterone as soon as possible, but helped me get a family doctor as I had not seen one in years who did not treat me poorly due to my gender identity. They've also been super kind and helpful for my friends who come here for trans healthcare. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I feel blessed to have obtained a doctor at Centretown - they have helped me in so many ways. This is the best model of health care I have ever had. I was on a wait list to get the doctor for a year but it was well worth the wait. Can't thank the staff here enough for being so caring and diligent!

This not a real walk in clinic for the general public it only walk in for patients that don't already have an appointment and been seen before. Staff rude and not helpful.

I went for a COVID-19 test, which thankfully turned out negative, at this centre. The staff was really nice and took very good precautions against COVID. The lady who took my swab was especially nice and caring.

Super helpful and ambitious.they got me started on testosterone right away with their current program and I go to them anytime I need questions answered right away as opposed to waiting for an appointment with a family doctor!
