I have to start of by saying my husband Ben and I have been coming here for years now. Sam has never let us down! My husband started collecting coins a few years back and we found this little shop and gave it a try! Sam was so welcoming and so knowledgeable. He'd spend time and actually talked to my husband and showed him things and taught him things. He is patient and so kind. My husband has learned a lot and has actually found a lot of treasures from here! Whether you are a new collector, or an experienced one I definitely recommend coming here! Everyone who works there is great but Sam's our guy! Thank you Sam for treating us like family! Can't wait to see you again!

If you own premium silver coins that are worth more than spot price do not go here. You will get your silver like Mexican libertad proofs and Germania mint coins bought at spot price which is so not worth. I needed the money, but for everyone else please do not make my mistake. Sell on ebay, most of these dealers will rip you off and laugh behind your back. Definitely will not be coming back that is for certain. Trust your instinct and don't feel pressured into just selling at their asking price, just walk away if you feel its a rip off. Most likely the owner is going to downplay everything in the follow up reply, If you appear to not know much, these dealers will take advantage of that so come prepared knowing the value of your coins. Edit. I did not sell the libertad and Germinia coin because I knew it was RIP off. I like how you dont deny buying at spot price but not mention how you bought rest of the silver at price which you knew it was a RIP off. As you can see he still thinks he is the right so there is no point for further discussion, just avoid doing business here.ps. You talk of transparency now, where was that transparency when you were omitting the real price of my coins and offered spot price for all 7 silver coins you bought from me? I was truly disgusted by your lack of integrity in general. I guess when it comes to minorities that level of integrity and honesty towards customers drops to 0 when dealing with customers with minority background.

One of the best coin dealers in Canada. Very fair and reasonable with evaluations. Their prices are normally better than the major online metals retailers and of late they have more selection to choose from. This is an honourable family business so ask for either Emil or his Dad and you will be very pleased. This is a business where first and foremost you need to deal with people you can trust. Amazing service. Every year I rely on Century Stamps and Coins to put together stamps for my brother who is a serious collector. I know nothing about stamps but rely on them to help fill his list and they never disappoint. Trust me my brother is experienced and picky yet he has always been very impressed with the stamps. With my inexperience I could easily be duped by more scrupulous individuals but Century Stamps and Coins obviously care about their trade and their customers interests. If my brother is impressed then, trust me, any level of collector will find them amazing and if your new to collecting or buying for a family member and know little about stamps or coins then Century Stamps is the place to go as well.

Century was the first coin collection store I’d visited a few years ago. Sam and his son Amil were and continue to be very helpful in introducing me to the variety of coins, bars and stamps available to collect. The guys are super easy to deal with. Being a relative newbie they answered all my questions patiently even some I’m sure had obvious answers! During this last year it’s been difficult for business owners to deliver products to customers but Century has been diligent in communicating via phone or dm on Instagram in order to fulfill my needs in the most prompt manner! This father and son business has been a pleasure to work with - even during the pandemic. Their selection of coins and stamps is amazing and the knowledge for each area has been consistently impressive. On the selling side, they have purchased a variety of items from me and their prices are always either the best or so close that the minor difference would never prompt me to go elsewhere.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Purchased a couple of shipwreck 8 Reales and forgot to ask about COA's. When i reached out via IG, they responded instantly and offered to ship the COA's directly to me, as I live a couple of hours away. Awesome service! Highly recommend for all your numismatic needs.

I was worried about what price I would get, and how the whole transaction would go, about selling my coins. In this store I got a good price and it was paid without any problems.

If you require the services of a coin or stamp store this is the best place you'll find in southern Ontario. I know this because I've been to nearly all of them and none have come close. I have greatly enjoyed looking through their stock and have always left with something at a good deal. I've also witnessed people selling and have always seen great care taken to ensure their putting forward a good offer for everyone. Highly recommended!

Easily the best local coin shop in the area, Sam and Emil go out of their way to make an inviting experience. When I've gone into other coin shops in the area, none of them have been able to live up to the standard that Sam and Emil have created. Came into Century Stamps and Coins a couple weeks ago. Very pleased with their selection and prices of world coins. Even though the shop was very busy, Sam was patient and helpful with everyone in there. Ended up with some interesting coins and supplies. Thanks again, I hope to be back soon!

Dropped in based on the reviews and was very impressed. Dealt mainly with Sam who was very approachable and easy to converse with. He was quite gracious and honest when letting me know that my stamp collection was not something they were interested in: despite my collection's shortcomings, I was pleased that he took the time to carefully look it over and suggest alternatives. Fortunately for me they were interested in some currency I offered. Given that they are a small business I was surprised at the excellent/very competetive prices offered on their extensive silver and gold bullion options. I will be back!

I meet Sam this week at century stamps. He’s one of the nicest guy you can find. I live in Markham, saw the great reviews everyone is giving to this place. So I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The only complain I had might be the location. It’s way too far for me to travel. Keep up the good work guys. I’ll definitely go back again. Highly recommend this place.

Great service! Staff (Emil) very friendly and helpful. Needed to trace some coins and within a couple of days through Emil’s help I was able to purchase them. Definitely will be back.
