Food was so good. Their customer service is very good too. I loved the manchurian, it was just like India. They used Amul cheese for Dosa and Pav. Must try.

I tried their Sev Puri, Dosa, Pani Puri, Manchurian. Loved the food, very tasty. Manchurian tasted just like what I find in India. Manchurian is a must try.

The customer service was great! The cashier very patiently answered all our questions and provided some suggestions as well. While we were waiting for our food to be prepared, we saw a lot of people picking up their orders and dining in; everybody seemed to be enjoying the service and atmosphere. They had Bollywood songs playing in the store and it created a very lively scene.
The food was good in quantity, well presented and packed, and also tasted great! This was my first time at the restaurant but will definitely be trying more dishes from their menu!

Small but nice place. Good variety of items. No quality compromise even if they're busy. Best thing is their hours of operation. They're open till late night. Their street food items are amazing. I would recommend their pizzas. Would love to visit again.

I recently visited an Chaalo Oshawa restaurant and I must say that it was a unique and unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to a different world. The decor was beautiful, with intricate patterns and bright colors that gave the place a lively and vibrant feel.

As I perused the menu, I was delighted to see a wide range of dishes from all across India. The appetizers were particularly enticing, with options like samosas, chole bhture, and chesse chilli Dosa. I opted for the vada pav.
For my main course, I decided to try the cholle bhture. The spice level was just right, and it paired perfectly with the fluffy naan bread that came on the side. I also ordered a side of Chesse chilli Dosa, a classic Indian dish made with cheese. It was a delicious and healthy addition to my meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend this Indian food restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch, and I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

We ordered rajma chawal, sandwiches and pop. The quantity of rajma chawal was very less than usual and they missed to give pop. We really like the place but last one was Very bad experience

Visited the place with friend for quick bite. The place is located next to OTU campus and offer Indian Street food. You can get quick bite so don't expect full meals.

The place is nicely decorated and offer different options. Here is our food list:

- Tava Rice (fried rice) ***
- Milk tea ****

The service was quick and staff is nice. Food was bit oily and spicy so be ready for that.

The place is fully accessible and there is sitting place available.

We are from Kitchener, and the dinner, service, and setting were all outstanding. A top-notch Indian restaurant in the area! Just go for it!
We tried their manchurian, vada pav, and many other dishes, but the manchurian is really delicious.

I tried this place on based upon all the reviews and hype over the instagram.

Hello, the dinner there yesterday was delicious and reminded me of Indian food. It will remind you of the real Indian flavour and spices, the personnel is friendly, and the environment is hygienic. The ambiance is beautiful

Super yummy food, always tastes good. The sev puri and pav bhaji are personal favourites, but Hakka noodles are amazing too. Friendly service too, definitely recommend!

One of the top Indian eateries in Oshawa is Chaalo oshawa. No matter what you order, you will always enjoy the true flavour of India. Additionally, it boasts a wonderful dessert menu and top-notch customer service.

Very bad taste. Fire puri chaat, pulao, masala soda and Sev puri were very bad in taste. Manchurian and Pineapple sandwiches were good.

Very Disappointed…. Place running by students only. No standardisation of recipes…. Ordered aloo tikki burger and samose, food was crap…taste, preparation, and customer service are their lowest priority!

We were all worn out from work and wanted to eat something. Came to this place and order bunch of stuffs like Manchurian, tava pulav, puri chaat. The food was just delicious and amazing customer service too. My personal fav was chole bhature. Such soft bhatura is rare and the final touch of satisfaction was adding with masala chai. Loved the place. ️️

Ordered pav bhaji dosa and kutchhi Dabeli, both were tasteless, Dabeli was so cold it tasted like they removed it from fridge and served it

Disappointed!

Looking at the deceptive ratings I took my Canadian friend to this place. The manager is very rude, unwelcoming, and doesn't understand customer service at all.
The food was not good. The cashier was super nice however manager has failed to train him.

The food even though authentic lacks the correct proportions that make the experience a bit lackluster and underwhelming. The sev puri was inundated with sev which became the center of the dish while the puri' were so small one could barely find them in the sea of sev. The panu puri had puri's so small you would think we had a shortage of puri's and it so happened that every one of them on our plate had a hole in it - quality puri's would go a long way in elevating this street food. The service staff seemed generally annoyed at their jobs and I wonder if we got them on an off day! Having said that there were reasons why we would go back in the future - the restaurant was designed with the right South Asian feel and awesome colours, the food was flavourful, all dishes were fresh and ready quickly. Happy to have more authentic ethnic food in the Durham region.

Zero sense of customer service. In the middle of my meal, I got a bottle of pop from the fridge. The menu price for pop is $1.99. I asked to pay and they sweetly suggested I pay after I finish eating.
After eating, I asked to be billed. They overcharged me ($3.5) saying the pop I chose was exotic (imported from India).
The staff didn't care to tell me it was more expensive than the usual ones earlier when I asked, the price for 'exotic' drinks was mentioned NOWHERE in the store (so theoretically the could have forced me to pay as much as they liked)! They said their menu wasn't updated yet (and yet blamed me and forced me to pay).
Manager enforced these and wasn't helpful. Never going here again.

Tried for the first time. The food was very pale with no taste. Ordered a Manchuria, Noodles and pav bhaaji. Very disappointed. There was no taste in noodles. It was all soggy. The curry for Pav Bhaaji was tasteless and watery. Manchuria was okay.
Drove all the way from Scarborough and very disappointed.

Definitely not a hakka!
