Chai Pani - The Indian Streetary

The quality of the food is very good, with all their dishes having an authentic Indian street food taste. Flavourful and good portion sizes. Specifically their mattar kulcha, it’s spicy and the kulcha is fluffy and delicious.

We have been eating from this place for past 3 months but today the food was not good. Food is normally the USP of this place but not today. Pavs of vada pav were chewy and the vada was not crunchy at all. Got their seasonal delicacy kulfi falooda but it was really disappointing. It had more ice than flavors and will never try again. Batata sev puri was ok and pav bhaji was good. Overall expectations from food is really high but not this time.

Ordered matar kulche, maska bun, pav bhaji, vada pav, ragda tikki. Everything mediocre. One element works but one doesn't and overall dish just turns out average. For eg. Kulche great, matar not at all. Pav great, bhaji mediocre. Pav and chutney great, vada dry as F***. Ragda tikki had no sweet sauce which is literally an essential element of the dish. Deserves 3 stars.

The food is delicious and fresh. To be honest, I have tried vada pav at many places including Brampton, Mississauga but theirs is the best and kachori is a must try!

Don’t deserve even 1 time. All frozen food.

Fantastic food very close to home! Very friendly staff. This is my fourth visit and would definitely keep coming back. Best veggie burger and frankie I have had in Canada so far!

I recently discovered a new Indian snack joint in Oakville and it's a must-try! The street food options were amazing, especially the Wada Pav - so yummy! The Egg Roll was a bit spicy but still delicious. I also enjoyed the tea. It's rare to find such places in Oakville, so definitely check it out!

Food review: Tried paneer burger and it was the best burger I ever had so far. It was too good. Proper crispy paneer, fresh veggies and good bun. Very satisfied with the food.

Insanely good and nostalgic food from the streets of India. Cannot recommend this enough to anyone wanting a hit of street-fare spice and good vibes.

Amazing food. Appetizers and snacks are best.
Place has dine-in, but for groups bigger than 6 it might be conjusted.

We were passing by Oakville and stumbled upon this small chai ki tapri as we were looking for some snacks for ourselves and our kid.

We really enjoyed our visit here along with the food. We believe they can improve in some areas.

Parking - they have ample parking available however they share with a lot of other businesses in the plaza so if you are going on a busy day you might have to walk a bit. Also, not sure if they have handicapped accessible parking available close by.

They have also maintained really good ambiance. Not very flashy but something that is simple and matches the restaurant theme.

The quality of some of the items we got was amazing! However, others can be improved.

One very important note - they make Pav on their own! These are one of the best Pavs that we have had in the GTA area. This is one of the reasons you need to go there.

We tried their Bun Maska, it was really good! Freshly made "masks". It felt very close to authentic Bun Maska, the kid liked it too.

We also tried their Pav Bhaji, this is a must here. It was really good.

Their Burger totally disappointed us. Thinking that a Veg Burger is extinct in Canadian Food joints, we had high hopes. Pls do not order Burger from here.

The kashmiri chai and BHEL were good too but not the best in the GTA.

Lastly, I felt that they could either increase the quantity/size of some items to match their respective prices. Understanding that this place is in Oakville, I still believe they are on the expensive side.

The service from the staff was really good.

They need to work on the handicapped accessibility to be more supportive. They neither have handicapped accessible door or washroom available.

All in all a family vegetarian chai tapri where you can go to spend time with friends or family.

Had paneer burger for the 2nd time today. Liked it the first time (1.5 month ago).
It seems they have changed the recepie and the ingredients. Not the same taste and quality as before.

Chili momos are amazing and go with a garlic sauce that's the right mix of tangy and spicy. Best eaten on the spot. The crunch will go away if you get it delivered.

We recently visited Chai Pani and loved eating some of the savouries. Definitely recommended the vada pav and pav bhaji. They were pretty close to how Indian street food states in India. Their quantities could be better.

Chai Pani has a great ambience for a friendly chit-chat over a cup of tea and vada pav. The staff is super friendly. It's been 7 days since we moved to Oakville and we have already visited here 5 times

Great taste and quality of food. Loved the Chai, Bhalla papdi and Pav Bhaji.
Must have the Daal Kachori and Pineapple Pastry, gives a very Nostalgic childhood experience.
Highly recommend this place.

Kashmiri chai is my favorite. Their Alu papdi, Ragada pattice and Dahi papdi are awesome. Good quality and service

CP is one of the most authentic Indian street food eateries that we recently discovered. Their bun maska and chai is a must try. Also, their veggie burger is the tastiest burger we had in the last 5 years in Canada. Another must try item is Jamun Shots! Been to the place twice and loved it. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
