Chai talks

My second time here. My first time had to wait over 20 mins before the food was ready, and it was just ok. I thought I would give it a 2nd chance as it is the only place you can get something to eat around here before or after an appointment. I got the breakfast sandwich and it was mediocre. The coffee was terrible

Chai talks is really good no doubt.
Best tea in ottawa if you want to taste different flavours.

I have visited many times. Obsessed with the food and atmosphere. I had tried almost every item but crispy paneer wrap, orange pineapple smoothie, smosa bowl, street burger and pkoras are my favourite. A must visit place.

Very chill place. We had chai, lassi, shakes, Paneer pakora and Dhai Bhalla bowl. The snacks and chai were really good. Dahi bhalla was the highlight of the show. The lassi and the shakes were a little let down only because they were not cold enough. Otherwise the taste was good. We were not expecting the drinks to be in room temperature. The environment was nice and the addition of the board game was a plus. We really enjoyed our time there.

We ordered must try chocolate Chai and crispy paneer wrap. Both tasted really good they were made all fresh! They have many other options and I Definitely recommend this place:)

They have terrible service. I had to wait 20 minutes. Terrible service. They don't even deserve one star.

Chai is great and I like the idea of games on the table.

Food isn't that great. We ordered a chat and it was made with frozen samosas and served cold. Other food items were bad as well.

I hope they improve in the future.

Positive - Hours of operation which is until 4 am and ambience is decent.

Negative- Food quality is not up to the mark and there is lot of room for the improvement.

Most of the tea joints have only one flavour in chai available the fact that we can have 3 flavours at one time is very innovative and makes you feel home! It’s exactly how chai should be! Also liked the fact that they have made their tables in ludo game! We had a great time here! Thank you!

I accidentally came an hour earlier then my appointment in the same building so I decided to check out "chai talks" while I waited. It smelled good walking in, but I ended up getting a strawberry smoothie, that cost me $5.60 after tax. I have no idea what size I got, the cashier talked so soft and mumbled I couldn't understand a word she was saying. All I got was "do you want this size? Or this size? " The 2 cups she was holding were very small and looked identical (i guess i got a small?). I was the only one in the restaurant and I felt like I waited at least 15 minutes to get my drink. It tasted OK. While waiting in the restaurant for an hour, sipping my drink, not once did she (or anyone) come out to clean other tables around me.
If I were to come again, I'd probably get something else as I don't feel the smoothie was worth the price espesially for the size honestly. Maybe I'd change my review.

Cute canteen style Indian restaurant. The table tops are defined to look like ludo/snake & ladder to provide guests with entertainment.

It was nice to be there. The chai was on point and i tried paneer wrap which reminded me taste of Indian street food. The working staff is also very kind and humble especially the girl that works there. Will try to visit again.

Satveer served us very well.
The food and chai were amazingly. The quality was good. Fresh food with a big smile.

Resturant was dirty with crust build up on tables, took 20 mins for 1 cup of chai and was half filled and unsweetened when I requested sweetened. Almost 7$ for a half filled flavourless cup of tea. Very disappointed

Food is delicious, chai is delicious, staff are super friendly and informative, establishment is very quaint. Overall wonderful experience and can highly recommend!
