Ramandeep was my bridal consultant and she quickly understood what I was looking for. The options in Chandan are endless! Went to Chandan fashion yesterday to shop for my son’s wedding suit. Mahek was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable, my son found his wedding outfit in first visit. Sharmin was also very helpful to find me a saree for the wedding. This store has variety quality of Indian clothing to meet everyone’s needs. Owner Chandan was also very knowledgeable and helpful, made our experience extremely positive.

Very authentic people working here and lots of options, and nice people. Prices are expectedly extremely high in comparison to in-home owned boutiques.

The staff was very hospitable, particularly Mandeep, Chandan, and Mr. Kukie. As someone with absolutely no experience buying Indian clothing I wasn't made to feel uncomfortable or awkward at any point. The staff answered all of my questions and made amazing recommendations and never pressured me into buying anything outside of my budget. I was able to buy all the clothing I was looking for all while comfortably sipping the tea they offered me. Thank you!

I recently bought Kurtas for my groomsmen from Chandan Fashion. The selection was amazing. My customer rep. Mandeep was professional, knowledgeable, and a very personable
associate to help me go over the different varieties of Kurtas. She was knowledgeable about styles that would suit my groomsmen. I was looking for very specific colors for the Kurtas/outfits, and she made sure every detail was accounted for to ensure my order matched my vision. Once I paid, Mandeep was in constant touch with me to provide me with answers and updates. They were able to get the Kurtas in under one month - which is extremely fast. The Kurtas looked great and I cannot thank the store and Mandeep enough for my amazing experience!

Preet was helpful, patient and kind. I purchased 3 outfits for various weddings, 2 kurtas for my husband and an outfit for my daughter. So happy to have found everything in one place and over one visit!

Drove from Montreal to Chandan desperate for a dress for my daughter’s wedding reception. Mandeep was wonderful. She had the dress customized and delivered to me within a month as promised. Everyone loved it! Thx Mandeep for your patience and help when I needed it most.

So many bad experiences after buying a Sherwani.

First of all, they charged triple the price of what it should actually be. The groom turban, the shoes, and the shawl was all over priced. I went down the street and everywhere else was cheaper.

Secondly, the tailor who works with them is very unprofessional. Outfits were suppose to be done by July 1st then it got pushed back to August 1st and when i called the day before to pick it up the lady was no where to be found! She said she had a family emergency which is fine but not letting me know is ridiculous. Wedding is in 2 weeks I shouldn’t have to be stressing about my outfit that I bought months before my wedding. Went from July 1st to augest 1st and then I finally was able to pick it up on August 10! Plus she said she called to let us know she had a family emergency but there was no calls from her and I also have voicemail for messages but no message.

Lastly, The turban I bought was a bit tight but the worker was telling me
It’ll expand and fit my head if I kept
It on for a couple hours. Did not expand at all. I ended buying a new turban because it didn’t fit properly, I explained it to the worker but they don’t care about you after you pay them money.

NICE PEOPLE BUT THE SERVICE DID NOT MEET MY STANDARDS ESPECIALLY WHEN ME AND MY WIFE SPENT OVER $3000!

After being a customer of over 10 years, it saddens me to leave a review of their unethical pricing practices. I was charged 3 times more in store for an outfit I purchased that was advertised much less on their website. After repeated messages to their instagram page and emails to the company, they have done nothing to rectify the issue. I would recommend being cautious and wary of shopping here.

Visited Chandan store today. Heard a lot about the place. They have by far the best collection for girls in Indian wear. Totally love it.

My fiancé and I had our appointment last weekend for our wedding outfits and we could not have had a better experience. We both found our wedding outfits (my lehenga was off the rack and my fiancé's sherwani was custom ordered based on a style they had in store). Both Preet and Chandan were so helpful and knowledgeable and really helped bring our vision to life. They both are personable and made the decision-making process as stress free as possible. The showroom is beautifully set up to ensure customers can really see themselves in every angle and light while trying on outfits. I would definitely recommend Chandan Fashions to family and friends:)

Worst customer service.

I made an appointment in spring of 2021, right after lockdown. I arrived and the shop was completely closed. Then I made an appointment a few months later, when I was 5 minutes away they informed me they double booked me and they wanted to change my appointment time. I agreed because what else could I do?

They say they can do custom orders but they mess up the order, then ignore your calls, texts for weeks. And never send confirmation of the order.

Avoid this place if you want a calm experience shopping. I regret ever entering Chandan Fashion.

Chandan Fashion was our one stop for all our wedding clothing. We got everything from them - from my bridal lengha, husband's sherwani, groomsmen's outfits (sherwanis, kurtha pajama and vests, ties and pocket squares), bridesmaids' outfits, outfits for both mother of the bride and mother of the groom as well as phags and ramaals for all our guests. Along with all the outfits we got unstitched suits to give as gifts to our family members. The Chandan Fashion team exceeded my exceptions and brought my vision to life with all these custom outfits for everyone. The team at Chandan Fashion truly became family! I highly recommend them for all your bridal and fashion needs!

When I started planning my wedding (in the middle of lockdown), I had no idea where to shop. I went to Chandan for my bridal lehenga simply because they were one of the few stores offering virtual consultations.

My bridal outfit arrived on time despite the tight timeline and all covid related craziness. It is a perfect fit and so well-crafted. I am so happy I went with Chandan. Despite having gone to so many other ethnic clothing stores in the GTA since reopening, I have never once seen an outfit that I liked better than the one I bought here. They have such a beautiful collection of bridal wear.

We bought everything from unstitched suits to partywear and jewelry. The store carries a wide selection of everything ethnic wear in a large variety of sizes for men, women, and children. The styles range from traditional to trendy. There truly is something for everyone.

A huge thank you to Auntie, Uncle, Chandan, Raman, Sharmin Auntie, Sana, Roop and Chandni. No matter who helped us at the store, on the phone, or on Instagram, they were always helpful and professional.

I’ve been following chandan fashion for couple of years, naturally when I moved to Toronto I knew that would be the spot I purchase my lengha and grooms sherwani. Well I can’t say I had the great experience everyone else seems to have had.
One top of that alterations were included in our final price, I emailed them to let them know I was ready for my alterations and they gave me the number etc.
I was that they would call the tailor ahead of time to let him know I didn’t have to pay.
I emailed regarding the day I would be picking up my blouse and still have yet to receive an email.
I paid the tailor regardless (it’s not about the money it’s the principle behind it)
Super let down by chandan fashion.

The only good experience was their assistant who was the only one who welcomed us and was the one showing the outfits.

When I was first looking for my wedding lengha, I did not hesitate to check Chandan Fashion’s it was actually the first place I went to. I have been following their page on Instagram for a while, they have absolutely gorgeous lengha’s and I had no doubt I would get my wedding lengha from there. We also went back there to purchase my fiancé’s sherwani. Great service, they created exactly the vision I had in mind and I was absolutely in awe of my outfit when I saw it and couldn’t wait to wear it on my special day! I felt like an absolute princess thanks for making my wedding day one to remember!

Terrible customer service. Go there only if you wanna buy dresses. Don't go there if you wanna buy necklace or anything small. They will behave rudely, even start bumping into you to push you out the door.

This place is not professional. I had much higher expectations and was extremely let down. Do not recommend, I've had better customer service in India.

I couldn’t believe it was this simple and easy. After sleeping on it I had a few concerns. I requested a phone call with Chandan, he answered my questions and made me feel like I was in great hands. When I first received my outfit, the blouse wasn’t up to par. When I told Chandan he literally took my outfit and told me he will take care of it. I went to go pick up my outfit a week ago, They redid my outfit and my god was it just simply gorgeous!

Everything was just perfect, I couldn’t stop smiling.

I’ve been to Chandan Fashion on two occasions - once for my bridal outfit and the second time for my fiancé’s wedding outfit. Both times were phenomenal. They have a very wide selection and the customer service is unmatched! I felt very confident leaving my bridal gown in the hands of Chandan, his wife and their amazing team! They are so accommodating and it was a really great experience - especially considering how stressful shopping for weddings can be!

Drove over 1.5 hours to attend a special sale event & bridal consult - ended up being a disappointment. The selection was beautiful, but customer service was awful - didn't help me with dressing/outfit setting, showed me nothing in my requirements (I would ask for a scarlet bright red and be shown burgundy, I said only gold work but was shown outfits with white stones, etc.) I was taken away in to a separate area (decorated nicely but no visibility to the selection sale on second level). Holding policy is also not true. The person helping me even said "if a customer comes and wants something on hold, I will sell it to them". I was told certain pieces are in stock but when I got to my appointment, apparently they were already sold some time back. Alterations are not in-house and not included. If tailor messes up, there's nothing they will do to support (this is what I was told). I am sure I would've found something I liked had I had someone who was genuinely passionate about helping me!

Chandan was kind enough to reach out and apologize for the experience, and offer to re-book a consultation with him (have not done this yet due to my busy schedule). I would suggest booking your consult directly with him to avoid the same experience!

I got both my Nikkah lehenga and Mehndi Lehenga here in one go! I had an idea in mind of wanting to wear light blue or white or one of those light and airy colours, and I expressed that to Ramin during my bridal appointment. She is so intuitive that she picked it out first thing and that’s the lehenga I went home with! Everyone loved it and it felt like a fairytale. Definitely recommended this place to many during my wedding events

I recently bought my reception lehenga at Chandan Fashions. I've been looking for a while and I couldn't find anything that was in white (I'm half ecuadorian and having a catholic ceremony so I want my reception white as well) and had as much work as the one I found here. P. S the price of this was unbeatable! I've looked and brampton and this was much more affordable and in my budget. Roup and Chandan were so helpful and so accommodating. So happy I came here!

This place was a gem in a Street full of options.

To be more clear, they have a variety of selections. Not only specialize in one component of the wedding process but also different needs of a bride or groom.
Assisted me in the purchase of my sharwani, groomsmen gurutha tops (custom from India), Kalgi and turban material. Some stores and owners just not how to provide that personal touch. In terms of Chandan Fashion, this family, makes sure to value the investment a wedding couple makes in their attire.

This was my first time here and I actually was browsing for an outfit and for a dupatta for an existing outfit. I had the pleasure of meeting Nargis who helped me through it all, she wasn’t pushy or forced her opinion on but quickly understood my taste and showed some really tasteful options. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. I have been a pessimist for shopping for indian dresses anywhere outside of India so this Is a great find and I am definitely coming again. It was a one shop for all kind of a place, I got a beautiful lehenga, a dupatta and jewellery all in a matter for an hour or so. They even suggested a place for alteration and well the verdict is still out on that one but the experience of shopping and the collection they had was impressive. A big thank you to Nargis Ji, you should find her next time you visit the Gerard street store.

I went to Chandan's pop up show in Mississauga, I had the best customer service experience with Raman! She was so calm, helpful and took the time to really listen to help me find and finalize my reception piece. At the end of the day, it is the employees who really make an experience valuable and leave a real impression and I have to give her 5+ stars! I would definitely shop at Chandan Fashion again because of her exceptional service.

I had a great experience with Chandan Fashions for my engagement outfit. I had no idea of what type of outfit I was looking for before going in. The specific person helping me showed me EVERYTHING from gowns, lenghas, peplum style lenghas, everything so At least I can try it on and see what I feel comfortable with in my body, as I have actually never worn a lengha before. Personally i felt more comfortable in gown but also didn't want to miss out on that lengha feeling and that lengha look. After trying on MANY outfits, i got the best of both worlds, i got a gown (what i feel comfortable in) however it is peplum gown which looks exactly like a lengha. The service I received was great! I can’t wait to wear my outfit in July for my engagement and actually see it come to life as well as cannot wait to come back and shop here for my wedding and reception! I would highly recommend them

I went to Chandan 1.5 years before my wedding, just to browse, not to buy. I have always gone to Chandan to find outfits for events and I’ve never left the store empty-handed; I don’t know why I thought this would be any different. I had so much fun with my Bollywood runway experience and found the perfect wedding outfit and jewellery with Chandan’s guidance. It was such an amazing memory for my family too, I would recommend them to anyone!

My mom and I went in today looking for clothes for a family event. Ms. Sharmeen was very helpful, and showed us many beautiful pieces in different colours while keeping our preferences in mind, each outfit shown was better than the last. My partner and I purchased both of our bridal outfits from Chandan Fashion for our upcoming Hindu Wedding. They have a lovely store with a wide selection of bridal outfits for men and women, including accessories and shoes. The sales associates went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, understand our styles and vision, and to ensure that all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend making an appointment in advance to ensure one on one attention.

The hospitality at this store was really good (they gave us food and tea) and the two ladies helping us with our purchase were very nice and helpful. However, Chandan and his parents were rude and extremely pushy towards us. We came for bridal outfits for two brides but were only able to find an outfit for one. When we were leaving the store we were almost out the door, Chandan and his dad tried to force us back into the store to buy more stuff. In addition, during our visit the lady helping us asked chandans mom if they have a certain style in more sizes that one of the brides liked and his mom responded so rudely with no effort to help saying whatever we have, we have which is funny because when you walk in to the store they tell you if you can’t find what you like they can customize an outfit. They trap you and make you feel like you can’t leave without making a purchase. And even when we made a purchase it wasn’t enough for them. The worst part is that the outfit one of the brides did get, the zipper wouldn’t go all the way up and they lied straight to our faces and said there’s extra material inside so we could get it altered to be bigger and we took their word for it.turned out there was no extra material inside. This is my opinion, my experience and just the vibes we felt when we were there.

The first and only place my I shopped at for both my ceremony and reception outfit along with my husbands morning outfit and his groomsmen. The moment I walked into Chandan fashion I knew right away. Chandan himself was amazing from start to finish. Amazing customer service from making sure our outfits turned out exactly how we wanted them and reasonable pricing as well. For my ceremony outfit I had originally picked a different outfit and midway through I had changed my mind and with no issues or concerns Chandan made sure that I got the outfit I dreamed of. Flew all the way from Florida to Toronto to get our wedding outfits custom made by Chandan and we could not have had a better experience! I found Chandan Fashion online after searching extensively (Florida doesn't have many options) for an Indian bridal shop. After finding them, I found out that my cousins had actually gotten their wedding outfits from here too and had a great experience.

We flew into Toronto and Chandan set aside a few hours for our bridal appointment. He even ordered food for us. My fiancé and I tried on many outfits and put in our order for completely custom outfits. Because mine was going to be a completely different color than the sample I tried on, I was sent a swatch a month later to approve. Our outfits took 5 months to make, and were sent to Toronto for a quality check. Chandan went over every detail and noticed that my lehenga skirt was bigger than the measurements they recorded, and had that altered for me before shipping it to Florida.

The outfits arrived and they were absolutely stunning - they fit both of us and we won't be needing any alterations. Unfortunately, one small detail was missed - my lehenga was supposed to have a small train but it was missing. Chandan offered to refund me the cost of the train or have a new outfit made. My outfit was honestly perfect and I can live without the train, so I opted for the refund. Chandan quickly processed the refund and also covered the shipping cost to Florida. I'm really happy with the way this was handled and the customer service I received.

Overall, I highly recommend Chandan Fashion. I really appreciate everything Chandan has personally done for me during this process, and for going above and beyond for my fiancé and me.

Chandan fashion shop is the costliest shop on the street with way higher prices than usual. All Indian attire clothing but very very costly. Chandan has branded his shop with all Bollywood celebrities visiting his shop but it’s not worth buying anything from there also he is very rude invade someone wants to return or exchange the item. For Indian people the salwar kameez you will get in 200 INR is being sold at his shop in 100 CAD.
