Had my sons lip tie and tongue tie released. I felt very welcome, before during and after the appointment.
Not pushy at all, made sure we were okay with doing his tongue and lip tie.
I’d recommend anyone to go here as I had an amazing experience.

I went to this clinic twice, once for each of my children to have a tongue and lip tie released. It is such a hard thing to see your newborn baby in distress but the team here is unbelievable. They get that. They are kind, compassionate, explain everything well and make sure both baby and parents are OK. I felt comfortable and cared for from the moment I walked in. I can't say enough about the positive atmosphere that this office has.

Dr fayad and his team provide excellent care to the tiniest patients and excellent support to parents. Having their support in our decision to revise our daughters oral ties made the choice easier

We have been going to see Dr Fayad and his amazing staff since they opened in Barrhaven (at least 20 years ago). They have been amazing, professional, funny, supportive, guiding.best of all approachable. John and his team have never felt above or beyond their patients. He always made us feel at ease and like family. He tries to stay on top of the best practice for his patients and works with his patients "special needs" to give the best visit.

We had our baby's tongue, cheek, and lip ties released here and it was such a positive experience. Since then, we have started going here as our primary dental clinic - everybody is super friendly and kind.

I went to Dr. Fayad to have two of my children’s tongue and lip ties released, ages 2.5 & 5. As Dr. Fayad comes highly recommended for this procedure - I was expecting a bit more. The office is unorganized in regards to providing information for preparation for the procedure and what to expect afterward. I had to piece together pieces of information received from his assistant and the front desk. Even after asking for specific details to be outlined, I received a text that was missing important details. Luckily, I called the day before the procedure to go over details as no one ever mentioned that my children were supposed to fast prior until this point. Seeing that they do these procedures often a simple email with details about medications needed, expectations, do’s and don’t and how to preform the post-op stretches would be very helpful. Instead of just passing you over your upset child post-op and going over these details while they cry in your arms. On the day of the procedure we never saw the Dr. Fayad, only his assistant. The procedure itself seems to have been done fine, but the communication, bedside manner and organization is very poor. Overall, if I was to do this procedure again I would seek out a different dentist.

I took my 5 week old son here for a tongue/lip tie procedure. Dr Fayad was amazing, he spent so much time talking with me and educating me on everything. He was kind and gentle. Lana and Trish were also extremely kind and helpful. I am so greatful for everything and can't thank them enough for making a difficult situation easy and comfortable for me and my son.

The Dentists and Dental hygienists are amazing, however the receptionists are cold. I was late for an appointment after explaining why I was late because I witnessed a woman in a Domestic Violence situation at the lights and pulled over and called the Police and waited for them to respond and give them a witness statement. I showed the receptionist my call history with the 911 call and charged me a fee for being late and gave me attitude. I’m not sorry I was late for my appointment because of the situation, but I feel like I shouldn’t had been charged a late fee.

Very grateful to Dr Fayad and the team at Chapman Mills Dental who fit us in same-day for an appointment and diagnosed (and then revised) my daughter’s ties. They’re professional, efficient and very knowledgeable about infant feeding and oral function.

Dr Fayad and his team changed my whole parenting journey. My son had a severe tongue and lip tie that no one else knew how to diagnose (including the paediatrician).

After it was fixed at the clinic (a super fast and simple procedure done same day as the consult), we were able to breastfeed & have been breastfeeding for almost a year now! Without the procedure, breastfeeding would have been impossible as it was just too painful for me.

I also want to thank especially the lady on reception who heard the desperation in my voice and booked us in for the next morning, although they technically didn’t have appointments for a while.

I am so grateful & have referred others.

If you’re having problems breastfeeding and you think a tongue tie might be at play, please just get an assessment at this clinic! You & your baby won’t regret it.

We had our baby's tongue, lip, and cheek ties revised. The staff was great in informing us of our options, did not pressure us at all to make a decision. Dr. Fayad was professional and helpful. The clinic was clean and there was no concern about COVID protocols being followed.
Our child is feeding much better and gaining weight. I highly recommend Dr. Fayad!

I had a great experience at Chapman Mills Dental post COVID-19. I contacted Dr. Fayad during the shutdown period and he provided me with a very quick response with a lot of detailed information. Once their office reopened I was contacted right away to make an appointment for my newborn to be assessed for a lip and tongue tie. Great experience overall.

My son had a consult for a tongue tie (he was having trouble feeding) ; turned out he also had a Stage 3 lip tie. Dr Fayad is extremely knowledgeable, he took his time to talk to us and we were very well informed before making to decision to get the ties released. Very quick procedure, baby felt no discomfort. Staff was great- They have someone hold the baby during the procedure while the parents wait in another room. I highly recommend this facility and Dr Fayad. My son healed perfectly (make sure you do the massages/stretches as instructed by the doctor), and his eating improved significantly.

We are new to Ottawa and just had a baby who was diagnosed with a lip & tongue tie. Once we consulted with a lactation consultant it was suggested we consult with a dental specialist trained with frenectomies. Dr Fayad was the top recommended after doing some research and he did not disappoint! He released our son’s lip, tongue & (to our surprise) cheek tie beautifully. From the front staff, to the assistants, hygienists and Dr Fayad we can’t say enough! What a lovely experience!

Dr. Fayad and his staff are amazing! Our 3 month old son had 4 ties released. We came to Chapman Mills Dental after seeing a Lactation consultant as our son was having great difficulty feeding, both on the breast and we tried the bottle as well. The LC suspected lip/tounge tie as the issue and directed us to see a dentist. We had a consult with Dr. Fayad and determined the best course of action was to release 4 ties. The procedure went very smooth and we felt completely comfortable the entire time. The care and information provided is above and beyond what you would expect. You can tell that they truly care about their patients and work! We received a follow up phone call the next day just to ensure everything was going well after the procedure. What I thought would be a stressful experience went extremely well! Our son’s breastfeeding improved immediately and keeps getting better everyday, we are are truly thankful!

I went to him from a referral. I was Extremely disappointed and will never go back to him. I am left with a bruise on my jaw which I've had for 12 days now. Not to mention the pain associated with it. This was from his negligence, not due to the Anesthetic needle accidentally hitting a nerve or blood vessel. I believe he thinks so highly of himself and status in the dental world, that he believes he can do procedures with his eyes closed. Which is what happened basically. Administering the anesthetic needle while glancing at the television, twice. What could go wrong? !

Dr. Fayad has been my dentist for years. Dr. Fayad and his staff are remarkable. A team that takes care of all your needs. They are attentive to to you and will make every effort to make you comfortable. I have referred his office to many friends and family and have never had anyone upset at the decision to go there. Excellent work Chapman Dental and keep it up.

The staff here are amazing. We had our 5 month old there for a lip/tongue tie and every team Member was so patient, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Dr. Farad was so easy to talk to and made the whole experience easy for us.

Dr. Fayad is amazing, he's provided great dental care on several filings and taken extra time to ensure things were correct and comfortable. He also performed the tongue-tie survery on our baby.
Paul is the best dental hygienist ever. He does a great job cleaning and ensuring your teeth are the best they can be and is careful and gentle on your gums.
The front desk staff and everyone are always very welcoming and friendly. They are also great with our daughter, who gets a coin machine toy when she leaves which makes it fun. We always leave with a smile!
I'm so happy we found them!
