Chapters - Vega

I was just at this store with my son so he could buy a birthday gift with a gift card he received. We were enthusiastically informed by an associate in the toy section that the store would be closing in 10 minutes. After we asked the price of a large box of Lego on a high shelf we were told that she could not help us as the store was closing soon. I’m shocked and disgusted at the display of appalling customer service. I left with a disappointed child. I don’t think we’d ever go back only for the fact that we still have a gift card to spend.

Was there mid afternoon, staff extremely accomadating.
My opinion is that this store is well stocked

The Funko pop selection is nice size but they are in direct sunlight and getting sun damaged so I can’t buy any of them.

The staff are super friendly and helpful:)
They’re a smaller chapters but they have a good selection.
Points up since they’re never too busy. At other locations it’s a 5-10 min wait, here they cash you right away.

Out of all the Indigo's and Chapters, from Toronto to Oakville. This Chapters has the largest selection for Anima books. I think there was over 7 shelfs full. Been looking for my son, he's missing a few books to complete his collections. You have to check it out!

What's not to love about a place full of rows and rows of books. The sale sections are usually amazing and if you look hard enough you will find some great bargains. Love going here just to browse or to buy my stash of reads.

Seems like it's more more less of a book store and more home decor. Getting frustrated with having to order books rather than be able to buy in the "bookstore. "

I recently visited with 3 kids. My youngest daughter who is 3 yr old was having issues keeping the mask on and it was dealt with in a very unprofressional manner. Staff was quite stern about the mask policy for my little child. She dropped all tasks and literally followed me around the store until she made sure that our family left the premises simply because my 3 year could not keep her mask on. I understand your store implemented mask policy but perhaps there needs to be special staff training on how to deal with younger customers who may have trouble keeping the mask on. I have always loved visiting chapters and spending time with my kids there but I was very disappointed by how this matter was dealt with. I would advise not to tradeoff good customer service with all the focus on mask policy for younger kids who are still adjusting to the new environment and have a hard time keeping their masks on

The employees give you grief on your mask if its not a disposable mask but at the vega blvd store there are employees who wear bandana masks and not disposable mask. They aren`t welcoming to people who aren`t able to wear masks because of breathing difficulties or breathing problems. We walked in and the greeted at the front of the store didn`t say anything about the personal reusable mask that are 3 layers into the store but as soon as we are ready to pay they stopped us and said we can`t wear our personal mask but have to be the disposable mask. As well we saw a few customers wearing their own masks in the store as well. Very very unhappy customer and I`m done shopping at a place that can`t follow their own rules or be picky who can wear what masks.

This is my happy place! They have everything you could want.and some stuff you didn't even know you wanted

The place is full of books that always attracts me. I always make purchases from here whenever I visit this place. Excellent staff.

If you walk into this location with a TWO or THREE year old not wearing a mask they will tell you to leave. My toddler has never worn a mask and would not put one on. WHO does not recommend masks for kids under 6.
After being told that was their policy, we left and my son ended up crying in the parking lot wondering why he couldnt go to the bookstore. We have never had this happen anywhere else.

I understand the need for masks but come on - mandating it on toddlers is not fair.

PS - we have been here a few times during COVID and nothing has ever been said to us. I dont know if its new management or what but they have obviously changed their stance on masks

I call in advance and when I get there, they have what I want at the cashier. Very friendly. Great customer service. In and out with no problems - very good.

Quiet, cosie and relaxing space. Not to crowded which is a plus! The service was fast despite the long line ups. Staff are helpful! Great sales!

During COVID-19 they are very organized and the curbside pickup is good and easy great service from all the staff and it is safe!

Staff was very helpful in trying to find the book I was looking for, unfortunately not available.

My favourite indigo store! I love the old chapters feel. I wish they never rebranded and kept the older feeling chapters. They are much more cozy when looking for a good book to read.

Was still coming to terms with not being able to stroll through one of my favorite stores and was hesitant to try the online purchase and pickup but everything was safe and smooth. Arrived before my confirmation email and called and the staff still accommodated me. The staff were sooo friendly and the service was great amid the hectic boxing day time. Kudos to them for transitioning to this new norm with ease!

Employees were extremely rude from the moment you walk in, and then none of them were anywhere to be found to be able to help you find items needed.

Nice place when I visited 2 months ago. Friendly staff. Large selection of books including technical subjects.

Had great service, spoke with multiple associates and they were all friendly and knowledgeable.

Staff at this location did not ask me why I am unable to wear a face covering when I entered the store. However, they proceeded to talk about it on their mics when I was in the store. Only when I approached someone for help I was asked and let him know i have a medical condition.
This company promotes leftist ideologies in a lot of the literature they are selling.in addition to this, their merchandise is overpriced. I can get the similar items at walmart, winners, and even dollarama for way less money that function the same.we were only here due to receiving gift cards and wanting to spend them. I wouldnt willingly shop here on a regular basis.

Really nice workers! They are extremely helpful and helped me find the book i was looking for although the prices are kind of high but they quality for the items is very good

Super helpful staff. Well organized. Very good at informing patrons about wearing masks as soon as you enter. Hand sanitizer available upon entry that doesn’t smell like vodka.

Staff is wonderful, went out of their way to make sure I was helped quickly and safely, very polite and adherent to all current covid safety protocols

Went there to buy Canadian curriculum for garde 1. Ended up buying one more book as they had more options. They have very helpful and cooperative staff. Prices are reasonable.

With lots of bookstores closed, this one becomes even more valuable. Sometimes, you need to browse the books before buying, which is what I did recently. And Starbucks there is nice there ad well!

Amazing staff like Erika in the kids section made my shopping experience today very easy. I'm super last minute and she had everything I needed at her finger tips along with extra touches (custom touches for my gift). The staff at this location has always been so helpful, so this is always my go-to chapters location.

Nice, large book store. A few places to sit down and read, alongside a Starbucks directly connected to the building which allows you to get a drink or snack. A large selection of books, ranging from manga, novels, cooking books and more! A relatively large children’s section as well, also close to the educational books. Would definitely recommend this book store to anyone looking for a book!

Tidy and organised. Usually plenty of staff around of you need help.
Picking up online orders is simple.

I could spend hours and hours at this location. Found a book that was stickered $5 with a 50% off sticker as well. I questioned it's validity but the cashier was kind enough to ring it through at $2.50 because it was misleading which I appreciated greatly. Kind staff always bring me back!

Standard Chapters. We stopped by to pick up a last minute birthday gift for a 6 year old girl. The assortment was limited but we found something in the end.

It serves the area, its comfy, the staff and other customers are friendly. Like all bookstores they have a limited selection, but it is extensive, and its nice to be among all the books.

This has always been my home Chapters, so I’m biased! But I like the atmosphere, the staff over the years have always been friendly, and I have consistently found fun discounted books whenever I go.

Always love me a Chapters bookstore! Great selection and a bigger location than most. Friendly staff and I love their home accessories and gift options as well. Children friendly, with their own colourful section and I almost always find what I'm looking for here!

I love Chapters to begin with but this location has the best children's section by far and a massive selection of home gifts.

A pretty big chapters and has a good selection of books, the Starbucks has seating which is a bonus however wish there were more places to sit around the actually chapters usually the seats are taken.
