Char Siu Manor

We tried the barbecue char sui and roast pork with rice. It came with a soup and the portion was decent. Prices are reasonable. The Char Sui had a smoky flavour and it was nothing special. There's other places that have better char sui that I would recommend. The place is very small and does not have many seats.

This place is meant for take out although there are a couple of tables. The best is the daily special, especially Tuesday for the whole bbq duck, it costs only $32.99

Nice new place in the T&T plaza (at the other end) with option for take out or seat yourself dine-in. Lots of parking in this part
of the plaza and excellent variety of BBQ meats. Meat and rice box is a good portion and comes with broccoli as well as house soup. A very welcome addition to the area!

I had high hopes for this place as the area does not have many good Chinese bbq options.

Prices are fair. I ordered BBQ Pork and half a duck.

The duck was great and tasted how I expected it to taste. The BBQ pork was VERY dry (we asked for half fat) and the sauce used was not good at all. The sauce left a very strange after taste in my mouth.

The person preparing the meat is also very slow. There were 2 people in front of me and it still took 20 minutes to get my order.

This venue is new so I'll attribute this experience to it being a new restaurant. Will re-visit in a few weeks and hopefully they will have ironed out the kinks.

Finally something decent in Markham and close to where I live. I was excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. I've lined up for 15 minutes however it was well worth the wait.

The roasted pork was juicy and the skin was crispy with the right amount of seasoning. The roasted duck was aromatic, flavourful and the meat was tender.

The portions were generous and the soup was not full of MSG.

Highly recommended this BBQ joint if you're in the area.

Ordered 4 times and will be coming back for more, the roast pork, bbq pork, and duck were all juicy and tasty. The soup was flavourful without being too salty!

This Chinese barbeque place is newly opened as of today. The space is fairly small with a few tables for dine in. They offer roast pork as well as their namesake char siu. The roast pork was tender, and the skin was crispy. The barbecue pork was moist, not too salty, and covered in a slightly sweet glaze. 10% off purchase with cash or debit payment during their soft opening.

There were long lines, and I was excited to see a Chinese BBQ pork place near our house. But their BBQ pork had weird flavour and their glaze/sauce had an after taste. It was tough and dry too. I won't be returning here personally.

Tender, juicy, moist and crispy crisp on the outside! Heavenly Char siu! Gotta try it out everyone!

Very disappointed after all the great reviews. Got there today at noon and no more roast pork and only 2 piece of char siu left. They talked us into buying one of the car siu. It was very dry, no fat at all and uneatable. How can a newly opened place be out of food by noon?

They said 10% off for 2 weeks. Today is 7 days after grand opening. No more 10% off. Food portion is good. Quality is average.

New Chinese BBQ place in the plaza. Food is amazing, portions were good, place is clean and bright. Will come back for sure.

Huge portions, tasty, great service and price, love it! Will definitely come back for the BBQ pork.
