Matthew and his team are the repair technicians i've been looking for. By far the best communication, service and fair pricing available for this specialized type of work. Extremely transparent with what costs will be. No confusion or the feeling you're getting ripped off. Explained in detail after the assessment what was wrong with the device (s) and I was left feeling that my gear was in safe hands. 10/10 I dropped off 3 pieces of gear a sony walkman, a sony double cassette deck and a VCR/DVD recording combo unit and his team fixed them all and tested them for a week. On pick up he went through each device and showed me them working. The amount of piece of mind that provides you when leaving is priceless. I already have him working on more items and TECHSONAR will be my go-to for all repairs going forward. Don't get ripped off by the hipsters in the west end repairing analog gear- head deep into scarborough for value, service and quality work.

Would give 6 stars if it were an option. There's nothing better than great customer service - with great communication and affordability. I took a 35 year old NAD amp there. It sounded good - but was noisy between selections of input. Not anymore. Am digging out my faulty electronics to bring to this facility. Very happy. Thank you. I never write reviews buts this time I did.

The amp on my component system went wonky. I took it in to Techsonar and for what I felt was a VERY fair price, he gave it back to me in perfect working condition. I will certainly be back with any other issues I have in the future.

My DVD recorder died. These devices are no longer manufactured. Matthew first gave me an estimate. After I agreed to the estimate, he repaired it quickly and inexpensively. Now I can record and watch TV programs, while fast-forwarding through commercials. I appreciate a no-fuss, professional job. I will use this service whenever I need something electronic repaired. As an aside: another electronic repair service charged me $17 up front for an estimate. Matthew gave me an estimate for free. Impressive.
