Charleys Philly Steaks

I've been at this location 10+ times within the month and everytime I add something new and it always exceeds the expectation. I've tried all their cheesesteaks and fries options and it's been very consistent. The team here is also very focused, quick and friendly with their service.

I guess Tims is better then your food, literally too much expensive and no quantity with that.

It was lacking cheese and veggies plus sandwiches was not very big.

Had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was great. Pretty quick service. Two guys there not the most pleasant people in the world, I guess they rather be elsewhere.

Let’s just say I fully regretted after it gave me an allergic reaction. I constantly felt uneasy after eating it came home my face started to swell.

The food is so good here. I ordered the buffalo chicken with fries and it’s worth the drive every single time!

Don’t ever try this restaurant and worst steak. Meat no taste and kind a very strange taste. I dump whole sandwich in bin and i paid 16 bucks for nothing.

Pretty good cheese steak. There's one in the Pen center (St. Catharines mall), they used to do a really great BBQ cheddar steak sandwich. This location, you can ask for extra BBQ sauce and likely cheddar cheese, and it tastes pretty decent though. Supreme - bacon/ cheese sauce fries are really good, although it's a pretty expensive meal going over $20 pretty easily.

Delicious. This place has been here for as long as I've been going to this mall (over 10 years) for good reason. Let's be clear, it's not the healthiest option but my word, it's delicious.

I had the most amazing experience on Saturday and am still thinking about it today. I am so excited to go again tomorrow! The food is so good and the one young lady who served me was so kind! Amazing customer service she deserves a promotion so sweet!

Worst food ever.they make their lemonade with syrup in a dirty bucket that they never wash… I would know. I used to work there.

The cheese steak I had was disgusting I barely tasted anything. The meat was chewy and the bacon was all fat I’m only giving this two stars because of the fries the fries had actual flavour but the cheese steak did not

I used to work at this location for 5 years.the place is filled with cockroaches. Nothing is properly cleaned/sanitized.

I’ve literally seen employees use soaked up wet meat, or expired meats to cook a steak. Horrible place. Don’t ever eat there.seen lots of un-ethical prepped foods here. The owner only cares about the money.

I was not happy with this meal its one of my favorite places to eat at a mall but this location the bbq sauce wasnt very good n the way the steak was dealt with n presented sucked

I am a regular at Charleys and so my girlfriend & I went to the Charley's Square one mall location in Mississauga at around 6: 45 pm on Wednesday, Dec 9th. As we walked up, we saw the employee get very agitated and frustrated. He became very aggressive through his body language and started to mutter vulgar things under this breathe to which we were confused about. As we were looking at the menu and deciding what to get, he mutters "are they just going to stand there or order", to our shock. At this I said to my girlfriend he has a horrible attitude and then he finally comes up to the counter and says "Hey I am closing in 2 minutes, do you want anything", to which we walk away. I have worked at McDonald's and know helping customers at the end of the night is frustrating, but he did not greet us when we walked up or mention that they were closing soon, so we could get our order in quickly or even decided to leave but instead got angry and behaved incredibly childish. His attitude toward us was unprovoked, unnecessary, and a disgusting display that completely turned us off on eating at charley's.

Flavor is bang on taste great but for cheese meat n some veggies on a soft hot dog bun and fries x2 and 2 drinks for 30 odd bucks aint worth it to me.

My partner and I went to Charleys at 6: 50pm to order take out before they closed. When we approached the restaurant, the male employee there began mumbling under his breath inaudible things because of the mask, but was clearly angered or agitated at something. He began to show his anger through his body language by throwing and slamming things and being very aggressive with his equipment. After about 5 minutes of completing another persons order, we could hear him clearly say under his breath ". You're standing around like we have all day. " and then go to the cash register and say in a disgusting tone "did you want to order because I close in 2 minutes". At that point we didnt even want to order food because he clearly was upset that we wanted to order food prior to the closing time and that comment was absolutely disgusting towards us. It was a terrible experience and absolutely ruined our night. This attitude was absolutely uncalled for as we had merely approached the establishment to order food. If it was a problem he could have been nicer about it and we would have been understanding but now I have no desire to ever go to Charley's again because of their horrid customer service. There are many other options at Square One for food.

Paid $7.50 for a small veggie delight that was just basically mushrooms, cheese and a few other veggies in a hotdog-looking bun; an underwhelming meatless alternative in 2020. Then there's the cheese fries that came without cheese and were nearly room temperature/stale. The employees seemed like they hated their jobs and were impersonal. On a positive note, the peach lemonade was tasty.

Decent sandwiches. As with most food court experiences, you're rushed to ensure the production line keeps moving

Visited this store at 3pm off-peak moment, not only the cashier was playing on his iPhone, the 2 Korean tone staffs were chatting with each other the ENTIRE TIME when serving my Sandwich. The steak was jerky dry and that chatty man didn’t even shovel all of my steak into the sandwich! Can you imagine having your food treated like a garbage with no serving attitude? It’s just disgusting

I just bought my food, first a lady as a cashier, I'm kept asking her my receipt, after she found from the garbage bean.second their counter is so dirty, I told a lady about that she told me, management will clean, but I know she was lying so weird, because I am employee too

Uninspired! People who don't want to cook shouldn't cook for a living. PERIOD! Cut it out. Dreadful portions, horrible sandwich eating experience (the sandwich fell apart as it was served to me),
and there is nothing Philly about that cheese steak sandwich! You're actually paying less for a large steak and cheese at Subway than you are for a small at this place. Just saying!

I purchased a poutine here and the quality was average.

They did not use authentic Québec cheese curds and the fries used were not that great. On the upside, the gravy portions used were quite generous, albeit not well mixed. I would recommend that the owners visit Québec and in particular the Chez Ashton family of restaurants to learn a bit more about poutine making.

Service was friendly and prompt, which is always good because the volume of traffic at Square One is high.

It was priced pretty competitively too. I suspect that philly steaks and not poutine might be their specialty, as the name of the chain suggests.

The food tastes good.
The staff do not seem to care about the product and always seem in a rush. The bread was cut at the way through so the meat is falling out if he bottom. I am very disappointed as the last time I was here the sandwich was great.

Food is delicious, however the workers seem to be gross and using unclean knives or material. I dont think I will come back here since they are dirty in front of me, i cant imagine what they do behind closed doors.

Food is decent, service is meh. Chargig. 50 cents for refills? Come one.charge me full price instead

The cheesteak was too salty, the cheese could've been less liquidy and more solid. The bread is soft not sturdy and the price is too expensive for the amount of the food they provide. Not bad but definitely not the best. Needs improvement and employees do not engage with customer too much. I want to feel valued as if I am being heard which I didn't feel. However that's alright they have probably have mouths to feed at home. Thank you for your service and best of luck

Meh.worst phily cheesesteak I've come across just mass produced but no substance paid $6.50 for a regular the Asian girl cooking the fries was very unhygienic she literally was eating the fries while she was preparing them so gross. Do that on your break not on the clock for customers to see and she had the audacity to proceed to feed one to her co worker on cash as they chatted among st themselves. These types of people are so entitled and ignorant don't work in the food industry please. Made me cringe won't be returning after that observation she even picked her nose too. When I sat to eat for lunch underwhelmed with the size and quality.

Jalepeno Philly cheese steak was amazing! Went during closing and they hooked us up with extra stuff. Definitely go here if you want a satisfying sandwich.

Got the Philly Cheesesteak here but I can't say that what they gave me passes for that. The bread was dry and cheap, the sandwich was stingy on the peppers and mushrooms and once you add the lettuce and tomatoes the whole thing might as well be a Big Mac. The 'gourmet fries' just had cheese sauce and some real old cold bacon put regular fries. For $18 for the meal I expected more.

Good sandwiches it's just that they're very cheap in their toppings like putting 2 slices of tomatoes, like they count everything

A bit on the pricey side but food in Canada on general is one of the largest expenses next to petrol. That being said, the sandwiches are fantastic and the fries either plain or with toppings are great! Being a Philly cheese steak lover I would highly recommend this place if your shopping at Square one and want to taste greatness. Try the lemonade too.

Kinda pricey for a small, but it was delicious. Loved the steak, veggies, cheese and mayo combo. Wish they used other bread instead of hot dog buns though.

Seriously such a waste of money, hot dog buns with bland meat sided with mayo, lettuce and tomatoe. The ultimate fries were a disaster porportion wise and taste wise. It's all bunch of hyped up trash.

The food is usually great but last Friday I went there and there were some young people who were mostly talking and on their phones.the young man who was handling my sandwich held the phone in his hand then put it down on the board where they place the bread. I spoke to him about it and he was quite rude.another server took over

Overwhelming moment of excitement anticipating a philly cheese steak sandwich expecting the experience to be satisfactory at the least. On the contrary Charley's Philly Steak takes first place on my list of most processed meal! Further more takes first place for worst aftermath following consumption. Recommend to stay away if you wish to steer clear of cancer... Friendly staff however.

I spent $35 expecting more toppings than lettuce & tomato with a large hot dog bun. The ultimate fries were alright but i would not come here again. Really disappointed& left me feeling lazy and tired

Fast, easy & delicious. Never too long of a wait time, yes they get busy but their efficient!
