Clair Hills has a very positive and helpful team with a very clean and beautiful atmosphere. The residents appear to be happy with their surroundings. I entertain at this senior complex and have excellent interaction with the staff. When visiting my friend, she is happy as a resident.

My husband really enjoyed his short stays at Clair Hills. He has had 2 different short stays and he loved it each time. His mobility is limited to a wheelchair and he is on various medications. The staff handled all of these challenges professional. All staff members where very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Clairs Hills and I will definitely use their services in the future.

My first contact with Chair Hills when I was looking for a new home for my parents was extremely positive and it has remained so throughout the process. They are now comfortably settling into their new suite and the support provided to them has been above and beyond what we expected. We were warmly welcomed after a long day of travel and appreciated the many kindnesses extended in these past few days. The sales and management team, front desk, activities, wait staff, cleaners and nursing team have been very friendly. We even met the Executive Chef and the food has been amazing. The view from their suite overlooks the beautiful Waterloo countryside! Thanks to everyone!

I came to Clair Hills for post-surgical care, following double knee replacements. I needed a place without stairs and with accessible spaces, and people who would care for me and feed me until I got back on my feet. I found exactly what I needed here. The staff were kind and supportive and worked with me as I gradually became more independent. Having meals and cleaning of the suite as well as weekly laundry was very helpful. There were also nursing staff, PSWs, and on-site physiotherapy. The senior staff are very concerned about making sure that all the residents’ needs are met with kindness and attention. Toward the end of my stay, the gym was very useful. I would love to have used the pool, but I’m not allowed to do that yet. I found everything I needed here, and I am very grateful to have had a safe place for my transition back to independent living.

Our entertainment Combo, A Record Day, has performed at Chartwell Clair Hills and has always experienced professional and personalized service, from Activities Coordinator, Katherin Toledo and her staff and volunteers. It's such a pleasure to entertain the residents, who obviously enjoy the attentiveness they receive from Clair Hills staff. It makes our job so easy, working in this very special environment. It's truly one of our favorite facilities to perform in.

My 89 year dad, who lives independently, has recently spent a full month in Respite care at Clair Hills recovering from a knee replacement.
The experience was simply superb. All the staff we met, from the housekeeping staff, dining room staff, front desk up to the various managers were kind, approachable, welcoming, helpful, simply great.
This stay was simply the best decision we could have made; it minimized & eliminated a lot of stress related to recovery from surgery at an advanced age!

I recently had the opportunity to be at Clair Hills Retirement Residence as a vendor for guests, their families and staff. It was a wonderful experience; the staff, including Christine who graciously organized the event, were simply wonderful and welcoming. The building and grounds were lovely, comfortable and inviting. As a moving company specializing in seniors moves, we work closely with the staff at various retirement communities to ensure a successful transition for future residents into their new homes. Clair Hills is a lovely place, and we have moved many happy people who now call it home.
We previously worked with former staff for moves, and as soon as Nicole became a part of Clair Hills, we established a great relationship working as partners. I have found that she is very communicative, easy to talk to, and direct; cares for residents and the company/home she works at; and is professional while being empathetic. I appreciate that we can reach out to each other as needed, and hope to continue that.

We have the privilege of working along side the Clair Hills community! The staff work hard to engage with the residence and provide great service and amenities. We love visiting the home to educate and assist the hard of hearing. The environment is welcoming and well kept. The staff know the needs of the residents!

I want to thank Nicole for the time she spent with my 98 year old aunt. She is hard of hearing and Nicole spoke clearly and slowly so my aunt could hear and understand. Nicole made her feel at ease and my aunt liked her very much. Although Clair Hill was not the right fit for us we enjoyed visiting this beautiful facility and meeting such lovely staff.

It was a great experience working with the team of Chartwell Waterloo. Learned a lot of things that are going to help me in making a good career. Amazing professionalism, great work culture. Staff is polite and helpful in every way possible to the residents. Last, amazing food. I will definitely love to work again in future.

I moved my mother here in September of 2021 to a beautiful suite on the ground floor. She stayed there quite happily until recently when she was moved to the assisted living area due to aging issues.
I have been more than happy with this move; the care and passion of the people working on that floor are beyond reproach. They all obviously enjoy their jobs and this is obvious in their treatment of the residents on this floor.
The staff in other areas of this residence are also excellent; a huge improvement over those at her previous retirement home in Dundas. Best decision I ever made was to move my mother to the KW area and to Clair Hills.

Clair Hills is a lovely, well-maintained retirement home with all the amenities expected in a good facility. The staff members raise it to special status. While they perform their duties with efficiency and professionalism, they take the time to interact with residents and their families, making each person feel valued. Their handling of the COVID situation was admirable, and my mom often mentions that she is happy and feels safe at Clair Hills.

I am very pleased with my choice to move to Chartwell Clair Hills in Waterloo, Ontario. Managers and staff are friendly, helpful, approachable, available to talk to and address concerns in a timely manner whenever possible. Nourishment and health services were significant areas of my life that were at the top of my agenda when choosing a retirement residence. Clair Hills has not disappointed.

Like many people who choose to move into a retirement residence I was happy and relieved to leave all aspects of meal planning and preparation to others. Kudos to chef Joey Clayfield and his team. I have a number of dietary issues. My requirements have been very effectively addressed. Joey and I worked together to ensure that I and other residents with issues like mine have choices of appropriate items. Menu choices were adjusted and enhanced. Joey has actively sought products that I could eat if they were not available. I could not be more pleased.

The fact that a doctor has weekly office hours onsite and would accept me as a new patient was extremely important. As well, a registered nurse manages the wellness department which is excellent. This has proven to be a wise choice for me.

I like my accommodation and have made it my new home.

My family and I are very happy with my Clair Hills experience and believe that I made a wise choice in moving here.
