Chartwell Hollandview Trail Retirement Community

My Father recently stayed at Hollandview Trail for a 4 month winter stay and it was an exceptional experience! The staff were so warm and welcoming and willing to help out with anything he needed. The suite was comfortable and spacious and I often would hear of how delicious the meals were. It gave me great peace of mind in knowing that my Father was safe and in great company over the cold wintery months. There was always something interesting to do on the calendar. Both Patty and Judy were excellent to work with and they made the move in process so easy. I would highly recommend Hollandview for any who are doing the search for a great retirement residence.

My parents and brothers arranged a tour at Hollandview Trail after doing lots of research. This was our first choice. We were met by Patty who welcomed us with a full tour of the facility. The number of daily activities was outstanding. A great variety for all interests, bridge, cards, swimming, puzzles, darts, movie nights, guest speakers and many more. While touring the staff would smile and say Hello as well as call each and every resident by name. The rooms are spacious and very clean and well maintained as is the entire facility. The amount of natural light in the rooms was noticed by my mom. The rooms we visited also had nice views of the park next door. A nice neighborhood with a seniors centre nearby as well as lots of shopping. My parents who were very reluctant to even take a tour are now saying they expect to be busier and more active then they are in their present home. All in all, Hollandview had a nice community feel between the staff and residents. Very comforting to know our parents will be happy, active and cared for at Hollandview.

I highly recommend contacting Patty for a tour of Hollandview for anyone considering retirement options for themselves or their loved ones. The residence is well-kept, clean and beautifully designed. Lots of activities and social events to stay busy and engaged. Their staff go above and beyond to ensure residents are safe and well-taken care of.

My mother Francis was a resident at Hollandview for 3 years until she passed in 2020. While there she received the best of care the personnel, food, activites were all exemplary she was close by to my sister and I. I highly recommend Hollandview

I did my community placement here and it was amazing. All staff, PSW, residents are so amazing. They acomodate you well, I learned a lot in here. It was organizing facility. Thank you Chartwell Hollandview for letting us, to stay and learned in our community.

I did my internship here and the management and staff was very helpful and nice. The residents are treated with utmost care and fed well, the facility is kept extremely clean and sanitized regularly! I was able to learn alot and reinforce what I was taught in school. I highly recommend

As a private caregiver from outside the center, I highly recommend this home for our beloved elderly. I've been to many retirement centers throughout my years with this job. The overall quality is outstanding. I adore how friendly and patient all the employees are with all clients. From time to time, my clients will go on about how much they enjoy the activities provided by this center. Knowing a friend is being cared for in such an exceptional manner sets me peace of mind.

Hollandview Chartwell has been our preferred choice for our mom for supportive living. Chartwell made the move from the retirement home easy as mom required more support with getting to the dining room and social activities geared to mom’s abilities. We are very happy with Chartwell and mom is too.

I had the pleasure and honour of working at Hollandview Trail for 10+ years. The staff and residents made all the difference. I would recommend Hollandview Trail - It's a beautiful building with a vibrant environment, great amenities and great garden spaces for the warmer months.

The staff were very welcoming and made move in easy. They were very supportive of all our needs and were always accessible when we had questions. Jasmine even remembered their favourite ice cream flavours and had two tubs in their freezer! My parents were not sure about leaving their home but now they really love their new apartment!

I just have to share how wonderful Patti and Jasmine (and the whole Hollandview team) were welcoming my mother for her respite stay. She left feeling more like a part of a happy family than a visitor. What a wonderful place to live!
