My dad had several health issues over a 2 month period and was in and out of the hospital. He was convinced he would be fine to continue living alone once discharged. He agreed to go stay in assisted living to recover for a two week period. I thought this would be easy to arrange, but after hitting a few road blocks my friend told me to call Corrine at the Tiffin House. I was beyond stressed and Corrine was my rock and saving Grace that day! She was patient, kind and very understanding. She arranged everything for me with a very short turnaround time as my dad was being discharged from the hospital.
Jamie and other staff members greeted us at the door, helped dad get settled and made sure we had all our questions answered.
After staying for the 2 weeks, dad agreed this was the place he needed to be and is now a resident there.
All the staff are amazing, friendly and genuinely care for the residents. I highly recommend the Tiffin House and am very thankful to all the staff who make my dads stay there very enjoyable.

I had a friend who needs support with a parent. I suggested she call Tiffan place and speak with Corrine Hindson to see what retirement living might be like. Corrine was thoughtful patient and really gave my friend the support she needed. Her parent is there for a trial run and is living it. Hopefully the parent will see that by moving in permanently quality of life will improve and there will be no more worries of safety and well being. Still close to family and the independence the parent craved but assisted with daily challenges by incredible staff. One resident greeted me and advised that he was fortunate to live in such a great place

We will miss Tiffin Chartwell in Midland. Time has come for my Mother to move to Long Term Care. Tiffin has been my mother's home for 6 years. She started out in Independent Living, a few years later moved a floor up to Assisted Living, after a few more years, moved to 3rd floor to Memory Care. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and facilities throughout my Mother's stay. They have treated my Mother with the care, respect and dignity she deserves in her last year's. They all know her by name, joke, laugh and tease each other on many occasions. They will take extra time to hug her, check on her, guide her in the right direction when she is feeling lost, and make sure she is comfortable. I find they have taken the extra time to really know the residencies.
I love showing up and seeing my Mother on the outdoor balcony, socializing with her friends or even quietly asleep in the lounge feeling safe and sound. The residencies in Memory Care do may activities throughout the day even get involved with setting the table and preparing a little if they wish. When we visit we like to take a trip to the café downstairs in Independent Living to chat with her earlier friends or sit on the spacious patio. There is even a private dining room or country kitchen for friends and family to gather on special occasions. Yes, the extra care and movement of floors can be pricey but my Mother worked hard all her life and she deserves the best care we could get her for as long as she could afford it. I would like to shout out to a few who always went the extra mile like: Suman, Michelle D, Shirley, Joanne, jazdeep, Melissa, Jennifer from Paramed, Jetta, Robert and Kelly her hairdresser. I know there are so many more I've missed and I apologize for missing them. What a fabulous team they are at Tiffin and I am very happy to have experienced all this with them and my 97 year old Mother. Forever Greatful.

My Mom moved into Tiffin House to use the pool which is helpful for her mobility. The pool has been closed since she moved in and she has never used it. We have asked for the pool to be opened and I am now writing this review with the request publicly, thank you.

I could not be happier with my father's living situation at Tiffin House in Midland. He thoroughly enjoys the company of the other residents and the many activities offered. Kudos to Michelle and all the staff at Tiffin House for working so hard to improve the quality of life for the residents in their care. I visit frequently and can tell you that the employees genuinely like the residents and that this sentiment is reciprocated by the residents. I appreciate the regular emails that I receive that keep me informed as to what is happening and I have a lot of respect for the team effort made by all concerned to make living at Tiffin House a positive, friendly and safe haven for all. Thank you!

My Dad, Frank Rice, recently passed away in his 98th year. My Mother passed away in 2015 after 70 years of marriage to my Dad. They enjoyed a wonderful life together. When my Dad was on his own, my sister and I had to consider what living arrangements would be best for him now that he was on his own.
After many family discussions and research, we found a graduated Retirement Residence in Midland, Ontario where my home is. He moved into Independent Living in 2016. Tiffin House was like a hotel. He had a beautiful room. His room and the lovely dining room looked over Georgian Bay. The facility was first class. Tiffin made every effort to organize activities for the residents to make their lives as interesting and stimulating as possible.
Up until early 2022, even with the covid period, my Dad enjoyed a happy and comfortable living environment. In early 2022, his mobility and cognitive skills began to decline. We were able to move him to Assisted Living where he would get more help and care. The last year and a half were challenging for him and everyone helping to take care of him. Tiffin House staff always generously and willingly ensured my Dad had the best quality of life possible. There were trips to the hospital after falls, special needs that had to be dealt with and many daily challenges. Michelle Denis, the manager at Tiffin and all of the staff did everything possible to make my Dad's final stage of life as comfortable as possible.
When it got close to the end my Dad was transferred to hospice care at Hospice Huronia- Thomkins House in Penetanguishene for his last ten days. Thomkins House also provided a special level of care that made his last days comfortable.
My Dad lived a long and happy life and his last few years at Tiffin House contributed to that journey.
My family and I will always be grateful for all that was done by Michelle Denis and her staff for the part they played in caring for my Dad.
My sister and I would like to convey our sincere thanks and gratitude to Michelle and her staff for all they did for my Dad. Although everyone at Tiffin was so kind and caring, I would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who went the extra mile for his care.
As the risk of missing someone and if I do, I apologize, I would like to give a special "shout out to" to the following staff who were so good to my Dad: Suman (RPN), Brook Prior (UCP), Debra Campbell (Server) and Kelly Nelson (Server).
Some of the other staff that made my Dad's stay as pleasant as possible are as follows: Jetta Robillard, Christine Palmer, Meredith Lavin, Tracy Colin, Joanne Miller, Valerie McFarlien, Jasdeep Chauhan, Anna, Susan Leclair, Robyn Struthers, Glenda Hicks, Tetiana, Jay Penaflor, Amer Renouf, Shirley White, Angela Lowe, Caroline, Ritchie, Dane Enns, Corrine Hindson, Tammy Ball, Gloria Rodriques, Catherine Marion, Marla Pedro, Peter Cote, Melissa McBride, Susan Jessop, Sam Lacroix, Curtis Forget, Amber Lawson, Will Eves, Cassie Alexander, Dorcina Knicely, Svitlana Maghrebi, Theresa Senatore, Kayla Senatore, Hailey Moncion, Tami Obasanya, and Terri Obasanya.

We moved into Tiffin several months ago. From day one we felt at home. The residents are friendly and the staff are pleasant and their efficiency is appreciated. Michelle is very approachable. She listens to our questions/concerns and responds with answers/solutions promptly. We are quite happy and contented here and enjoy showing family and friends our new home. Many thanks for the care and support we are receiving here at Tiffin.

Today was certainly a rough day as I had to say goodbye to over 120 friends and family at my (former) job here after working there for six years!
Working at Tiffin was such an amazing experience, and I am ever grateful for the opportunity to have been able to meet so many crazy and fun people.
When I first came to work, I was shy and quiet. I avoided talking to people - and I was a server, so I wasn't very good at my job. I would spend my 5-minute walk to work sobbing because I didn't want to go in, and I would cry leaving. Now, I'm always able to smile and crack a joke with everyone, and you can't seem to get me to shut up. One thing hasn't changed, though. Today, once more like the old days, they've made me cry. This time, though, because I genuinely don't want to leave.

It's not often that a job gets to change you for the better. All the staff and residents, those who have come and gone over the years, have changed my life. I've never been anywhere before that has not only made me feel so welcomed but so loved. Never have I met a group of people that have the biggest hearts full of love and kindness, but who are also just as crazy as I am.

Although I'm sure where Im heading has great people, they'll never be Tiffin quality The type of crazy that you fall in love with.

As much as I look forward to my move, I will truly miss all of the fun I've had at my job. Not many places let you show up dressed head to toe as a giant bee for Halloween, or encourage you to host wild karaoke to the classics in the middle of your shift, or let you beat up your general manager in a one on one jousting match (five times) for your last day, but then again - it was the type of crazy you couldn't contain, but it was the type of crazy that made you feel loved.

To all of the amazing staff and residents at Tiffin, I would like to say thank you for everything! For all of that crazy, wacky, wild love. I appreciate it, and you have made a difference in my life for the better.

New adventures are on their way, and I look forward to them, but I'm carrying all those who set me on this journey im my heart forever.

I would like to start by saying how wonderful the staff at Tiffin are. They are always available to assist you.
Corrine was the first person I met and she is consistent in helping me with anything I need, and, my family is impressed with her. I enjoy the activities and had started my stays at Tiffin as my winter 'vacation'. I have made many new friends and learned to play cards! I would recommend and have recommended Tiffin to others on many occasions and will continue to do so. The dining staff are so obliging when you want something off the menu. They always try to please everyone's tastes. The Manager, Michelle is often there to discuss any concerns that you have.

My dad has been there in independent living for 1 1/2 years. He really enjoys it. The peopl3xare great. The food is good. Corine was very helpful getting in and set up. There lots of events going on. They even took my dad fishing to a trout pond. They took him to Algonquin park to see the fall colors. The one opportunity is getting shy people evolved in activities but they have recently hired a new social manager Shannon and she seems to be making a difference I recommend this place. My Dad loves it.

I cannot say enough about Chartwell Tiffin they have provided exceptional care for my Aunt over the last couple of years. The very first person I met with was Corrine from sales I knew right there that my Aunt would receive the best of care as she was friendly knowledgeable and professional. The home itself is spacious and clean with a bright welcoming atmosphere throughout. My Aunt had to move a couple of times and this was done effortlessly and at all times respecting her dignity. I will be forever grateful to all the staff who took care of my Aunt while she was at Chartwell Tiffin I would highly recommend this home for anyone considering a Retirement residence
