Chartwell Westmount on William Retirement Residence

We visit this home frequently as we live close. The staff are always welcoming and make you feel at ease. We know our friends are well taken care of. We see the hair dresser, Krista, and she does a great job! I recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a great place to live and thrive.

My mother feels so well taken care of and safe at Westmount…and we couldn’t ask for anything more. She’s exposed to much more activity than she ever would have had at home. She has made so many new friends and been able to rekindle with some old ones too! THANK YOU to everyone at Westmount for all you do, giving us peace of mind is invaluable! ️️️️️️️

Westmount on William has been a fantastic fit for my father. He moved in a few months ago and the staff and other residents have made him feel right at home. The size of room is perfect, meals are prepared 3 times a day and there is always staff on hand to support him as required 24/7. You can't beat the location either! Overall, the staff have gone above and beyond to make my father feel welcome and a contributing member of this great Retirement Residence!

This is an amazing place brought our fatherr in Sept When we got here He was welcomed with open arms they made him fill like family Evethough threw covid lock down they took such good care of him and everyone living at Westmount. We are soo happy with there loving caring staff They always keep us up to date on everything that's going on We forgot to sign him out a few times (oops) they check right away making sure he's safe. Words can't express how much He loves this place and everyone here (His words feels like home) Anytime they are always there to help in any way. I would recommend this home to any loved one

I cannot express enough my gratefulness and appreciation for the care that is being given to our father by the complete staff at The Westmount. Having said that, at the forefront is Toni, the home's RPN, who has gone above and beyond in assisting the family with our father's care. She has been vital in obtaining the medical care he needed and still needs. From connecting him with a new physician to assisting with proper medicine, blood pressure, diabetic testing, etc.routines, to being the middle link between doctors and pharmacy. Toni has proven to be very pationate and dedicated in her role as RPN, not to mention compationate and beyond helpful when it comes to the residences and their family. She is a true ambassador to the home when it comes to being an achiever who is dependable, accountable, dedicated, humble, and motivated to help. Because of Toni and the rest of the staff, Westmount has exceeded my expectations of a retirement home. Our father is very happy there, but best of all.we don't need to worry about our 84-year old father.

Care defines The Westmount on William in Sudbury Ontario. Over the past two years staff and management have assisted and guided us through changing challenges. The knowledge that Toni (RN) has empowered us with, allows us as caregivers to utilize the services available to seniors in a Retirement home setting which allows us to spend more quality time with loved ones.

Jackie (General Manager) is always available to assist in or direct us whenever we reach out.often.

The PSW's, Helen, Lynn and Janet are dedicated as are the entire team to ensure that your loved one is treated with kindness.

With COVID restrictions having been lifted it's nice to hear entertainment playing great music for the seniors and see all the residents gathered once again together in the dining room to enjoy the meals together.

My Mom lives at Chartwell, and she is very happy there. They are attentive to her needs, accommodating, and truly care about the residents. They bring meals to her room when she is ill, and go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable.
I feel confident that she is looked after, and I don’t have to worry about her. If I ever have any questions or concerns, Jackie is always helpful and available. I highly recommend!

It is without a doubt that Chartwell- Westmount on Williams should be recognized for their amazing residence. The staff are phenomenal, they are caring and dedicated to make this place a warm and receiving home. ️

We just got my mom moved into Westmount Retirement Residence and the staff was friendly and caring in the transition. The Management staff and workers work hard to welcome new residents and manage all that is on their plates with the added workload of lock-down restrictions. We look forward to partnering together to make this a wonderful place to live for our mom.

I cannot say enough about the entire team at Westmount Retirement Residence. From the initial tour, application and move in process, Ashley McCarvell exuded warmth, empathy and caring. My Mom immediately felt comfortable with her decision. Within thirty days, Mom settled into her new home and often expresses how happy she is to have people around her, safe places to walk, good food and a social calendar that “keeps her very busy”. I attribute this to the entire staff, who are not only kind and respectful but also display s sense of humour so you feel you are amongst friends, whether you are a resident or a guest.
Knowing Mom is content, meeting people and sharing social time in a safe environment is truly comforting for my family and we are grateful for ALL the staff at The Westmount.

The experience from the very beginning has been so positive. My dad and I began the process of “just looking” at retirement residences probably about two months ago. We saw a virtual tour of one but really didn’t peak his interest, but after we saw the virtual tour of Westmount he said maybe this would be good. I asked Ashley if she could tentatively keep the suite as I knew my dad never makes any decision right away. Next day is told him what I did and he was happy about it. It moved fast from there!

It has been such a great experience! Ashley and I communicated by email a lot and she was always quick to respond and very positive and encouraging, answering our questions and ready to help in every way possible.

The moving day was great.staff were helpful in every way we needed. My dad is quite happy with his room and has often commented on how helpful and pleasant everyone is. He is looking forward to joining with everyone but is quite content to be in his room until then. We will be going for a walk soon. I feel very secure in knowing he is good hands.

Management and staff are incredible! They are committed to resident enrichment, safety and physical and mental wellness. This was evident during the COVID-19 pandemic whereby staff worked tirelessly to ensure resident safety while keeping them active, engaged and socially connected. We are truly blessed to have found this retirement residence for my mom to call home.

Chartwell Westmount on William is truly a "home away from home" for my mom, Thelma. It's easy to see why Mom is so happy and content in her new home - Cleanliness, good food, nice decor and definitely the "consistent loving kindness" of the supportive staff, even through these challenging times of Covid. Thank you once again to the amazing staff of the Westmount!

There willingness to help answer any questions or concerns I have is really impressive. I never leave the residence without thanking them for their hard work.

I am so excited to have my sisters move into Westmount Retirement Home. They are moving here from Toronto.
Ashley has been so supportive and helpful right from the very start.
It makes me feel so confident that they will be well treated. This past year has presented so many challenges for us all. Just knowing they will be so close by will hopefully make them feel so much better as they have had tremendous concerns being alone and isolated in the big city.
I cant thank Ashley enough for the excellent way in which she organized everything on my sisters 'behalf. She always kept me in the loop. This has meant so much to me.

I have found my experience to be mostly positive. The staff members
with whom I interact are extremely caring and patient with my mother
who has dementia and can be quite stubborn. I appreciate the fact that
Helene, Angie or Terri call me when they have a concern about mom.
Also, Ashley at the office goes above and beyond when I bother her
with questions.

They are a group of very caring and compassionate people. They have always been very helpful and pleasant when we visit. They are practising great covid measures. Carol does an excellent job at presenting activities and treats during this lockdown period as well as in normal times!

Awesome place my mom has been here for 7 months. The people are great and being updated on a regular bases.
