Chartwell Westmount Retirement Residence

This is truly a fantastic residence, a lovely facility with such a dedicated team, wonderful programs and beautiful amenities. It is always a pleasure for me to stop by here. I often work with MJ and she is so unbelievably committed to providing her residents quality experiences. Your loved ones will have such meaningful and engaging experiences because of the work that MJ does to foster an amazing culture at Chartwell Westmount. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about the professionalism at Chartwell and how much appreciation we have for all the staff at Westmount. From the friendly front reception staff to the very efficient housekeeping team, everyone is caring and welcoming. Each time I arrive to visit, my day feels better from the moment I enter the building. The whole 'team' has worked hard to instilled a sense of coming home. And, for most residents; this is their home! As a daughter, this has made the world of difference. It's evident that the guests are treated with a high level of kindness and respect, as you will often witness 'hugs' and always hear each person referred to by name. Entering the building, you will often be greeted by the sound of laughter, music or fun games. There are always lots of fun and creative activities going on for people to choose from. My parents have used the Assisted Living program for almost 10 months, and now call the apartment 'home'. As family, when arriving, we are often visited by one of the 'care-team' who is just checking in or saying "hi". Their meals have been altered to meet their dietary needs and are 'amazing'. I'm always envious and regret going home to make my own dinner! Many of the care-team staff we have already adopted as family. The JOY they are provided is far more than we were ever able to provide in their own home. A HUGE 'thank-you' to ALL the staff!

We had a tour with Christine today. Every person we met, including residents, housekeepers, PSWs, management, etc, was upbeat, positive, and welcoming. The facilities are lovely, and the suites are bright and inviting. I hope my parents choose this place. I know I would!

Absolutely horrible. Residents are mistreated and ignored by nursing staff place is covered in bugs. Horrible place to work and live I’m so sorry for all the residents that pay as much as they do to live there

My mother in law is a resident at Westmount. She has been there for over 3 years. She is very happy with all aspects of the residence. She is kept busy daily with all the activities and entertainment. Meals are very delicious and nutritious. The staff and management are very friendly and hard working. We know Mom is being well taken care of and happy with her surroundings.

Recently visited Chartwell Westmount Retirement Residence Kitchener with Specsavers Fairview Park Mall to tend to the residents' glasses. All of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they truly enjoy being there and have all of the residents wellbeing at heart. The service they provide is outstanding and you can tell all of the residents' enjoy being there.

We as entertainers just want to say how much we appreciated the way we were made to feel welcome at Westmount Retirement Residence. The staff was so helpful and supportive and we received exceptional hospitality including a thankyou note from the activities director. The residents were a wonderful audience and fun to perform for. Looking forward to returning in the fall to entertain there again.

At Westmount Retirement, we had opportunity to perform musically for the residents. It is a lovely retirement residence with staff and residents that are very welcoming and friendly.
