Chaska Indian Street Food

I did not have anything here. As before placing my order I saw a cockroach right where all straws were kept!

Food was amazing, served hot and did not take lot of time. The employees were friendly and welcoming.

Not satisfied with the experience, quality of food quantity not up to mark. We went for on thursday and they had a deal for all you can eat pani puri. We seem to have caught a bug through pani puri.
Kulfi rabbdi falooda was as well not as per expectation and tasted more like milk shake.
Never had good experience while visiting this restaurant

Excellent choice for Indian Street food. Great customer service and the flavours are amazing!

Pricing is the issue at this place. If you want to get a good bang for your buck get the kathi roll etc.avoid the papri chat - its ten bucks and totally not worth that much. Also avoid falooda 8 dollars and it’s just flavored milk.

Update: have been here several times. Food is consistently great. Tried the new stuffed parathas which were incredible.
Service seems to have taken a hit. Ordered plain samosas with the parathas. The girl serving us served samosas at the end after asking her 3 times. She acted as if what's the rush (we had a toddler) and as if she needed to prepare them. I would understand if she was busy with other orders but she was not. Just jotting down something. After asking 3rd time she finally picked the samosas from the tray behind her and called us. That's all there was to it. Not sure why we had to ask 3 times.
Regardless still very impressed with the ambience and food.

Regular customer here for years.
I worked on Matheson 5 years ago and would come here everyday for lunch.
I still order from here to this day using uber eats.

Amazing food

Food is tasty but takes a while for them to prepare.only nuisance is they kept indian horn and they blow many a times.and is so loud

Food taste was not at all good
Everything tasted just "SWEET"
Papri chat was no where close to indian street chat
Pani puri was too sweet
Even the platter was the worst specially Soya Chunks.it tasted just Dhaniya powder. NOT AT ALL VALUE FOR MONEY. THEY HAVE TO WORK A LOT OVER TASTE

The food was amazing! We ate Kathi Roll, samosa sliders, gol gappa, pav bhaji, ande ka funda and the grill platter! Excellent food and good service. The cutting chai was superb and brought back memories of back home! Will definitely come here again

We ordered grilled platter and it was served cold. And even the employee was embarrassed when we ask to heat it up as she could feel the cold platter when I handed it over to them for heating. The samosa poutine again not only cold but no cheese curds just shredded cheese. We are not coming back here.

This was my first time at their flagship location and I must say it was pretty impressive. 5 stars for the ambience and atmosphere which gives you those desi vibes. Food & Snack options are limited although, the avaialble ones are different and tasty. Samos Slider is good fusion kick (i used to try this years ago with left over samosas). Bhalla Papdi Chaat is arguably the best.especially the crisp papdis. Kathi rolls & Salad bowls are average when I had tried at TO downtown locations.
Jackfruit pickle is a hit albeit slightly overpriced

Service is good and quick.one person was courteous and helpful - Rahul naam tho suna hoga?

Portions can improve a bit for the slightly marked up prices.

We tried the paneer tikka kati roll.its a much better experience at this location. Nimbu paani and chai are good. Food, service and ambience deserve 5 stars at this location.

Overall a satisfying indian street food experience

Limited menu and very pricey for the quality and taste!
Our first experience:
1. Samosa Chaat - the only item that was worth the $9.99 that we paid.
2. Bhel - this seemed like a packaged bhel served in their container and decorated with onion and a bit of tomato. $9.99 totally wasted on this one.
3. Golgappa - another disaster. The stuffing is so little for the number of puri given and the paani a huge disappointment. $9.99 wasted again.
Overall just for the samosa Chaat not coming back.
Must say service was super quick but that does not make up for the taste of the food.

Amazing place we have our Indian women circle get together there. Hosts are really nice so as the food. Anu was amazing host

I always loved Chaska Food Trucks, their Tamarind Sauce is authentic. But when I visited Chaska restaurant it was a gig let down. We got below items and none were up to the mark.
Veg Paneer Roll: It has yogurt filled sauce which was the prominent ingredient. You could only taste yogurt. Never had Dahi in my role.
Paneer Roll with egg: My wife was grossed with the concept of dahi anda and paneer what a wired combination and her verdict was this is worst tasting roll.
Samosa: was ok taste wise but probably fired more than once so had that wired oily feeling. Their Tamarind sauce was not what we got at good Truck and was so bad which made samosa a torcher.
Rose Lassi: Well for a change it was good our son did finish it so that was a saving grace.

Today, Saturday may 27th at 8: 35pm I order the number 10: channa Chawal. From experience before I know the rice is ready and usually is put together within 5-8minutes. I do not know the name of the male employee that cashed me out although I have attached the refund receipt and management maybe can look at the person on the camera or through the cashier system.

After I ordered I went to the washroom and when I came back the male employee was counting change in the cash. The male employee then looked at me and said one moment, and continued counting for several minutes.

A customer came in and he cashed them out. Then went ahead helping the customer after me by making their order and did not wash his hands but made an ice cream mango drink the whip cream got on his hand and he flicked it back on their drink.

I looked around and saw open rice in a bowl with another female employee spraying cleaning products right over the rice. This is a huge health and safety matter.

I was upset and felt disrespected. I also did not feel safe to be consuming the food. I asked for a refund.

I was then given a refund and left.

I have been here multiple times and was always positive, tonight was a huge shock.

Wow what an amazing place.what a warm host.must come to Mississauga location one of the best pav bhaji I had in 10 years

I have been coming here for years now for dining in and take out.

The food is always good, very savoury satisfying and veggies are fresh. The customer service is really good as opposed other Indian restaurants. The food price has always been a little higher pricing. I like they have the option of spice, as due to dietary restrictions I can’t eat as spicy as I used to.

They have one of the best samosa chaat!

The five star reviews here are fake. This place lacks basic customer service and is over priced. The images on their screens do not match what you’re actually given. This place serves a grill plate with absolutely no sides. I’ve never been to an Indian restaurant where at rice or naan was not included. We also saw them take mushrooms out of thr package without even washing them. This shows poor hygiene. Very poor customer service, service is slow, food is mediocre, menu is small, overpriced food. You’re better off going to any other restaurant in the area and there is so much to choose from and there are so many other Indian food options in the area. Do not recommend unless you want to be disappointed.

Lovely chaat and kathi rolls. The staff and vibe is amazing! Lovely place to hang out with friends and family. This is our go to place for any street food cravings!

Had a great time, from Gol gappas, samosas, nimbu pani to gulab jamoon. Everything was amazing and ambience takes you back to Indian streets

Foods are made by order so it takes a little while but worth the wait! I wish they have more variety of low carb menus I hope for the next visit!

The food was ok. We have had better food there before. The restaurant was empty on Mothers Day which already probably was a sign that it might not be the best. Ordered masala chai (was machine made and ok) was served in cutting chai cups. Nice touch. Aloo parantha we’re average as it had samosa filling in it and tasted like samosa. The Chaat papdi was ok and the papdi tasted of oil, they weren’t fresh. I would definitely skip eating here.

Food quality was not up to mark and suddenly felt stomach pain, looks like they were using unhealthy chicken in franky.

Every time I come at this location (and I am a regular customer) - Excellent experience. The wrap roll was made to perfection. I will definitely be visiting again.

We recently tried the kathi rolls at Chaska, which had been widely recommended by many in the reviews. The rolls itself were ok, had decent sized chicken and paneer chunks, but what marred the experience was the service and ambience. Despite requesting to have sauce added, while placing the order, they forgot to add it in two of the rolls.

They had a large gathering of about 20 females probably having their own kitty party in the same restaurant area, and they were very loud which was a big turn off. While large gatherings are understandably a profitable proposition for the restaurant but would have expected the group to be given a separate party space, and the remaining regular guests not having to squeeze past them every time when you need to walk up to the counter. Also their custom of honking a very loud horn every time someone's order gets ready can be quite annoying after a few times, hindering the flow of your conversation. They don't have any waiters (understand the idea of maintaining a lean workforce) but that means you need to walk up every time to order an additional item or for anything else.

This place is better as a takeaway joint, rather than a dine in experience.
