The service at this place was amazing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a polite and welcoming team. My friend Sarangan has Kanner's syndrome, a form of autism. He had an episode and spilled a beverage however the staff were very understanding and helpful. They came over with napkins and helped us clean. They did not treat him different although he was a disturbance. The food was really good as well.

The food is quite delicious. The waiters Sunny and Robert are both very good. Brother Sunny has a very good service attitude. Brother Robert is very attentive. It would be better if there were more desserts.

The food here was impressive and our server Sunny and our bus David is so helpful and attentive. We love the service from them so much. We will come again because of the outstanding service

First time here, then I’m sure I will come here again. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere as well. Especially, the waitress Elaine, she is so nice! Sweet and friendly to everyone. NICE SERVICE! The five star️ is for Elaine. I really like her service, so me and my friends had a great night!

Great food, service and atmosphere. First time dining there with friends and would definitely come back again. I ordered the lamb and black pepper beef skewers, and they were served in good, filling portions, so I'm very satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. Big thanks to Bertha for being a great server to me and my group, she made the experience enjoyable.

All the skewers have the same cumin flavour, gets a little boring. It's also 4 skewers per order which is too much if you're dining as a couple. Good service though and cute place to dine with a group of friends.

The food are decent and fast. Pretty much one of the best Chinese skewer place in town. This location is also the first one of the chain. They now got several locations. We had Jade as our server and she’s super sweet and always come by to refill water take away plates etc. The downside is the price, but again we ordered too much and have lots to take out. Other thing to note is that the light is very dim inside, so it’s actually super hard to read the menu and mark it. They do have a QR code on the table but only use to view photos. Wish they could make it into mobile order instead. Overall speaking it’s a great place to gather with friends, lots of choices, but be sure to bring debit/cash. Approx $50/person.

Went here with my boyfriend for the first time and had a great time! The food was 10/10 and Angela was our server who was amazing. She was friendly and very polite, and made the whole experience great!

One of my favorite places to grab a beer and some snacks with friends. Nice atmosphere.

My favorite things to order are the Lamb Neck skewers, Grilled Cabbage, Squid Tentacles.

The best pre lockdown dinner - never disappoints and our server Roe on Main Street Unionville was so kind and attentive. 5 stars again can’t wait to be back - will definitely plan on take out soon

Had dinner with my friend and it was raining and hailing. The servers and staff, especially our server Jade, went out of their way to accommodate us and the other customers under the tent, asking us if we were okay and if they could help us stay sheltered from the rain, and making sure customers had what they needed and that they and the food stayed dry from the rain, even if it meant that the servers were rained on. 5/5 - very impressed and outstanding service! Going to come back again soon.

Had a marvelous time here the other night. Food was amazing, and I would highly recommend the lamb, but what shocked me and stuck with me the most was the exquisite service that was shown. Our server, Nicole, demonstrated immaculate service, and you can tell she actually cared about our dining experience. The great food, atmosphere, paired with the world class service, it truly is one of the best dining experiences in Scarborough. All around had a splendid time, and will be coming back again, this coming weekend!

Not worth the price and no variation in dishes. All food taste the same with the same seasoning (spicy). Disappointed and pricy.

Chat Bar is a good Skewer and others BBQ Bar in Scarborough. Came with my girlfriend and some friends here. Here has a lot good staffs working and good service. A lot varieties here. Lamb, Oysters, Veggies, Chicken, Beef and Lamb to go. Prices are good for the amount of skewers and quantity. All the skewers was well done and tasty. I really enjoyed the meal here and I would recomend this place for everyone and definitely will come here again when I have an opportunity.

Food is amazing. If you like skewers, this place is pretty damn good. Only downfall is the price for the food. If you eat a lot, this place will drain your wallet. Other than that, it's a nice, cozy, little restaurant with great skewer options. Spices are good too. Great place for a late night snack.

Nice place for a drink and grilled skewers served northern Chinese style. Portions are generous and the price is fair. I personally recommend the lamb skewers and the grilled oysters. Would definitely return.

I like the skewers here. Very delicious. But it can get busy since it’s a small restaurant with limited seating.

I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. Nicely decorated. I ordered squid, lamb, beef, chicken heart. 3 of the skewer were good. But beef was too dried with too much fatty part. Price was a bit expensive but its usual for bar place.

Loved the quality of the food. The servers are nice. The seats are a bit tight. Great atmosphere for friends gathering and chit chat for sure

We came to have a gathering with some former colleagues. First of all, the decor was very different from regular Chinese regular. It feels more like a lounge than restaurant. There was a huge dragon drew on the big wall on the right hand side. Menu was really simple with a variety of BBQ chicken parts, lamb, pork, pork legs, white Chinese buns, spicy hot pot, seafood, etc. The seasoning was a little spicy and sweet. There was even a slate plate heated with candles to keep the food warm.

The food here was amazing. The staffs were also friendly and patient. She kept asking for seasoning preferences and if everything was up to our satisfaction. I had a good time eating here. It is one of those places where you can have nice conservation with a normal background noise level. It was kind of on the pricey end if you want to be full. We spent around $110 amongst three people and it was my treat. Lol! Have a great time regardless.

Such a great place for a beer + food. Skewers are super yummy and my favourite is actually the spicy beef noodle soup! Try it out:)

So this is the Chinese version of Izakaya. Pretty neat and nice atmosphere.

Food: 4 out of 5. They are good food and heavily marinated. It's good to accompany with beer. A lot of choices on the menu.

Services: 4 out of 5. Staff are quite attentive. However, I will deduct a point for being careless. If they have lit up those candles for our platters, I would have give them a perfect score. Not a huge fuss about it.

Ambience: 4.7 out of 5. Nice, decent atmosphere. Great for hanging out with friends. It's great for party of 2 to party of 8.

Proce: 2.5 out of. Not too cheap and not too expensive either. Reasonable. We are party of 4. We end up paying $28/person. Tips included.

Overall: 4 out of 5. They are pretty decent. Definitely would come back with friends.

The food here is really stunning and delicious! The BBQ chicken and beef are the best in Toronto! The roasted beef noodle is also highly recommended by me to all of you! The bottle of water is free of charge! And the service of this restaurant is scored full markI will surely always come to this Chat Bar to have dinner!
