The quality of chatime has gone down over the years. When chatime first launched, milk tea would be made to order. Now, milk tea is pre-made in dispensers. I find the milk tea too milky and the fruit flavored too artificial. Quality varies from franchise to franchise. With so much competition from other chains and independent, chatime needs to step up their game

I got a Nespresso oat latte and it was delicious. The place is nice and clean and the tea is good quality

It was busy when I had first came in (parking lot was super packed as well) it had been a while since I've been to a chatime and I'm now vegan but a lovely worker went through all the options I can have and with oat milk options. Thank you Carmen for your patience!

Do yourself a favour and get the brown sugar milk tea. I can’t even have bbt anywhere else anywhere, chatime rutherford is my second home with how often I’ve been going

Had a great experience when I visited last week. Great customer service and drink was made just how I liked it.

Within the Vaughan area, Chatime’s gotta be the best bbt spot around. Service is quick, efficient and friendly, and the drinks always taste great! Whenever my sweet tooth is acting up, the Chatime Vaughan location is my go to spot. I’ve been going here for years now and you can’t go wrong ordering anything off their menu. Get their roasted milk tea with grass jelly and tapioca if you’re unsure of what to get. Do yourself a favour and check them out. You won’t regret it.

New management is already showing improvements, best bubble tea I’ve had in years from that location and will definitely be back!

Me and my daughter are Chatime fanatic. I order Chatime minimum 4 times a week and I go to different locations. I went to this location this weekend and I did not like how the workers treated me. Rude. I was asking for a bag for my teas but they said I have to pay 15 cents for it. All the Chatime I go to, bag is free. Tried telling them that, workers gave attitude and started arguing. My point is, why this location is different from the others? Is the owner that cheap? Also, workers should have proper training when handling customers.

Food - Chatime is like Mcdonalds. They are always open, they have drinks you would expect from a bbt, and there are so many franchises. You will sure find a drink you like!

Service - The staff are always quick and friendly. I have no complaints here. However, their rewards program has been nerfed. It's no longer the amazing reward program it use to be.

Decor - This location specifically has a few seating. It was clean and can be acessed easily from a bunch of different ways.

Sometimes a shop can become a victim of its own success. I think that accurately describes this Chatime location. It was among the first boba shops in the plaza beside Vaughan Mills. Its success probably spawned the plethora of other boba competitors in this plaza now. Marketing geography is quite fascinating.

We used to go to our favoured pho place next door, and then drop by this Chatime for an overly sugary regular boba drink. There always seems to be a lineup from a loyal customer base. On this hot day, we tried their summer tropical trio: Mango Tango was a peachy mix with notes of green tea. Guava Lava & Grape Escape were akin to ordinary guava / grape juice. The "cherry on top" was a splash of dragon fruit bits that was barely noticeable.

My last visit was disappointing. It took quite some convincing to accept my order over the phone. I hadn't experienced this for other boba or restaurants. Some more snarkiness ensued upon pickup, and I couldn't help but think training is lacking at this location. If their drinks only take 30s to make as I was told, don't think I'll bother next time.

Visited this location on June 2 after prom. It was pretty late but the staff were insanely kind and welcoming, some even stayed a bit after closing to ensure our ride was coming (they honestly deserve a raise). Great quality drinks and also made very fast. It was a great experience, will definitely be coming back to this location again!

One of the best bubble tea spots in my opinion. Always has great quality, several different flavours to try and good prices. I had the espresso signature milk tea and it was pretty good, but I know the handcrafted taro and a few others are really nice too. Great ambience, great quality, and generally open late. Would definitely recommend.

I always enjoy Chatime. Been here today and quality of the drinks is still the same. I can even say they’re the best so far.

We are not welcomed at all, the employee that taking our order did show some uneasy attitudes towards us when ordering. Such an awful experience, regret to go all the way here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The quality control at this location is subpar. There was a hair in my drink and the staff there had a nasty attitude about it. Avoid this location, you’re better off taking your business to another chatime

Staff attitude is too bad. The way to talk to customers is very disrespectful and behave badly with customers. Especially the person who received the drink order. Too bad

Absolutely delicious, unfortunately I come here so often that they call me pudding guy. Lol all in good nature of course. It's usually very busy but I'm practically addicted.

Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, customer service was horrible. The staff was really rude. Sunday November 7th 10: 30 pm. The tapioca was raw. Go to a different place.

I absolutely LOVE coming here. I make my order online and 10 minutes later it's ready. It's always correct. The staff are always so nice and professional. The drinks are always so tasty and refreshing. We come here a few times a week and we always have an excellent experience. We are loyal customers and will always pass along our great experiences to family and friends.

Probably the best ChaTime around. There are others on the same road that are. VERY underwhelming.

Horrible experience this time. I usually order through their online portal but this time I had to go inside. And what a horrible experience I had with the cashier. I corrected a mistake that she made on the order and all she said "yeah, yeah, PAY! " Is that how degrading an experience has become in covid? Did not appreciate that one bit. Best Chatime location in the area. My drinks are always made perfectly (with all the customizations), even when it’s super busy, and the line is out the door.

Since its opening many years ago, I’ve been a regular customer here, and the staff is /always/ friendly, courteous, and capable, even when they are new.

Last weekend, while waiting for my order I witnessed a customer harrass the staff and shout how “poorly” she was being treated, when it was clearly the opposite. Any poor reviews are likely due to the inconsiderate behaviour of the customer NOT the staff.

I went before lockdown and it was very busy. Limited number of people allowed inside at a time but they were not able to manage that.

One of the best bubble tea spot in town. Chatime is always my first choice for bubble tea and where every you go in the town chatime give you the most friendly service among other bubble tea chains. My favourite is brown sugar pearl milk tea and they gave me the same consistent taste everywhere all the time.

Went here for the first time and ordered a taro drink which I ended up disliking due to the texture of the drink, I had went back in and advised the staff I was unhappy with my drink emphasizing no fault of there's and was ready to order a different drink, they happily made me a another drink of my choice and did not ask for payment. Thanks for the great service

One of the smaller but quicker locations! Very clean and quick turn around. Staff were friendly and patient when a friend was a little indecisive. Always good quality bbt!

I used to come here a lot, today I went in and bought 5 drinks. Tapioca was too hard and tasted like it wasn’t fresh at all, if my being totally honest, the texture felt like three day old tapioca. Taro smoothie was too watery, and I also ordered a brown sugar milk tea, which was too milky and bland. I expected more from $31 worth of bubble tea.

A little sad that they got rid of the red bean topping but there are plenty of new flavours all the time. Plus the staff especially the Team Leader girl is always friendly and efficient. Love this place!

The staff is very friendly, I like their Peach ice tea. They also have a vast variety of drinks to try with amazing flavoured pearls to add to our drinks.

Bad service bad owner and staff members hardly speak English. I would drive an extra mile to go to another location. It’s sad how they allowed these scam pond Philippino angry man own this location when most people in the area are actually nice and professional mostly. You will be treated like you’re from the slums or some black market.

Very quick and efficient service. Quick in and out. Always have many staff on shift. Drinks are fine and satisfying. No issues at all except I didn't give 5 stars because sometimes there just no space to wait in line or for your drinks and yeah I'm writing this during covid with the social distancing but imagine when there's no covid with all the tables and chairs. The employee who was taking orders was very vibrant and happy while taking the order of the group before me. While I was ordering, it’s like she dropped the act. She was dull and didn’t bother speaking. I didn’t mind at first but when the next person ordered, she went back to being bubbly. Maybe it’s just me but, it took away from the vibe that the store has set.

Got the lychee black tea with pearls, only 30% sugar but still unreasonably sweet. They were out of matcha milk tea as well as a few other drinks but the secret menu was pretty cool.

Ordered online, paid for Pearl but deliver with missing pearl.asked nicely for compensation but only provided free topping for next purchase.waste of money and time.avoid ordering from here.

This location is normally amazing but tonight I ordered delivery because my Mother is elderly and my brother has intense asthma so we avoid going out as much as possible. The girl on the phone was questioning why I was ordering for delivery and not just coming in because its only an order of 4 drinks and I tried to explain, but she was almost laughing. She said "If you're only ordering 4 drinks are you able to come in and pick up the order, are you scared of a cold? " and laughed awkwardly. It was very uncomfortable. She then gave the phone to someone else who helped me but I could hear the other girl talking about how everyone is lazy and can't just come in and get their drink. It made me upset because we are all trying our best here and we are trying to support our favourite business but they made it all very uncomfortable. I ended up going in to pick up the order because I felt bad.which I shouldn't. I hope the employees at this location realize that not everyone is immune to this and some of us are just looking out for our loved ones.

I give them a 5 star because my son changed his mind and he didn't want the tapioca pearl after they made the order. I asked them just to strain it, and without any questions, they made a fresh one.

I love chatime. It's wonderful to go to different chatime restaurant and still be able to get the same drink. My favourite bubble tea is the Pearl milk bubble tea, a classic.

Chatime is my go to bubble tea spot, this location I have been to twice- however today my order was different. The tea I got not only was not what it normally tastes like, but it has a weird taste to it, tastes almost like pool water. I won’t be returning to this location. Waste of money.

Completely satisfied with this location. Every time I have gone in they are always friendly and professional. Keep in mind I go during the week and before 2 pm so probably not as busy. I have tried the black tea milk tea, jasmine milk tea, matcha, and lychee green tea all with the pearls. Each one was perfect! Right amount of ice and sweetness! Plus you get points for a free tea! Yay!

Worst chatime! Owner lady is always there. When she’s there she will always try to cheap out and save money wherever she can on ingredients! She is extremely rude too. Also, only chatime that requires you to spend more than $3 to use your credit card! Avoid this chatime!

Always a full place. Haven’t tried the teas but they look delicious! All of the baked goods are super yummy and not that sweet, which is perfect for me. Fast and friendly service.

I usually don't make reviews, but the customer service here was terrible compared to other chatime locations. The girls at the front were rude and were rushing the order just for one drink even though there was no line. We even had to return a drink because it wasn't made right. Her overall attitude was horrible. First time at this location and I don't think I'll be back. Never experienced such bad customer service in my life.

Update: I told her I have the rewards# and she said in the very rude way. "you input the # after paying! ". Then, she asked me what's my phone no. I gave it then she said that it's not registered, again in very rude way. I gave it again and she realized that the last digit was wrong and blames me for giving the wrong no. She didn't even apologize for NOT hearing it right. She still insists that I gave her the wrong no. My whole family were there and witnessed her rudeness. It ruined my day.

Chatime has always been very consistent in the quality of their drinks and service. They're very quick and have great menu options. I always get the Jasmine Pearl Milk Tea with less sugar and less ice. But have also loved the classic Chatime Pearl Milk Tea, Brown sugar milk tea, and matcha pearl milk tea. I love that they started selling metal straws to conserve plastic usage, even though the straw is 5 bucks which is pretty expensive. This location is known to have very long lines though. Especially in the evenings. And the location doesn't have that much space for seating so beware of that if you're looking for a place to hang out with your friends. Might be a little loud too. Still, it's one of the best bubble tea places.

Can never get my order right.
I ordered jasmine green tea (take out) and the girl even asked me if i want milk in it and i said no. Still came out with milk tea (I double-checked the label and there's no milk on it). I don't know how it happened and this is not the first time. I am quite disappointed, should've checked the cup before i left the store: "<

I super super love CHATIME
But what really kept me going back is not just because how delicious and refreshing the drinks are (my favs No. 2 drink roasted milk tea with grass jelly and red bean no ice, no sugar YUMMMM) but because how great customer service they have especially the Vaughan mills location. Super awesome and super friendly staff and management (Vicky Ong) was very attentive. She made sure my friends and I are very happy with our order and comfortable in the store.

I usually never throw out bubble tea, but I had to this time. I ordered the roasted milk tea and chatime milk tea on different days and both milk teas at this Chatime location tasted like liquified rawfish/sushi. When I order the same milk teas at other Chatime locations, they do not taste fishy. When I dumped out the liquid, I noticed that some of the coffee jellies had these nasty white, bacteria-like spheres. DISGUSTING! Very dissatisfied with my experience here.

After having not one but TWO bad experiences at this location, I came back because at the time it wasn't busy, there was few customers and the girl that was taking my order was rushing me even when there was no line and I felt rushed for such a simple one drink order, she didn't even inform me after taking my order that the machine was ready for me to pay because she stopped making my order to go to the back with her employees where I saw them doing BLACKHEAD PORE STRIPS-I'm not even exaggerating or making this up. 2 guy employees had the strips on their nose and the girl employees that were taking my order and making my drinks stopped to go take their pictures. That's unsanitary and doing it where the food and the drinks are made? Unacceptable. After leaving and going back to my car, from the parking lot I saw 4 employees all go to store next door (sugar marmalade) and leave a few minutes after to get back to their jobs. Worst location ever, I don't think they take their jobs seriously at all if this is what they do when they are not supervised properly. Not satisfied at all especially after this last visit.
