Chatime

I just move to Kingston and have no idea where to go for a nice boba shop, I just randomly searched and found Chattime which is the only shop open until 12: 00 am. So I decided to give it a try. But it turned out the Brown Sugar Crema Pearl which I ordered was so good that it surprised me. And the manager who friendly greeted me at the beginning always giving me a welcome vibe, making me want to come back for next time. Great drink, great service. Chattime here makes me feel like I have a place to visit for my comfort drink in a new city to me.

Ordered from here twice in the Fall, first through UberEats, and second in person for take-out. Both times, I ordered a Jasmine Jade milk tea with tapioca. The first time, they sent me a Pearl Milk Tea (black tea). The second time, they straight up just gave me milk with tapioca. Absolutely no tea flavour whatsoever. Ive been to many Chatimes all over Toronto, New Market, Waterloo, etc.and never experienced such a lapse or difference in quality from a Chatime before this location. The second experience was honestly kind of shocking and upsetting to pay $7-8 for milk. Seems like the staff don’t know how to make basic drinks?

This is the worse experience I have ever had. Their cups’ quality is so bad that it leaks at the bottom when I order a hot one. The stuff refuse to make a new one. She said it just leaks a little bit but it leaks a lot. She use another paper cup to cover the bottom and then try to pour the liquid into the bottom cup, which is been touched by hand and also touched the table surface. It is so disgusting. We insist and she made a new one, later the paper cup leaks again. Don’t spend money to have this kind of experience, ruin my day.

Great Tea shop with some nice options, big fan of their Triple that includes pearls, grass jelly and pudding.

This place is hard to find parking but once in their are pumping out Tea faster than anyone else in town. They also seem to be priced lower than most if not all other local shops.

Ordered mango tea. It tasted nothing like real mango but cheap mango nectar sugar water. The place smells like sweat. I don't recommend the tea.

Went in hoping to preorder some Bake Code mooncakes (as prominently advertised on a displayed poster).

Not only were the staff completely unaware of the promotion, they also had no idea why one would not want such an order filled immediately (it being weeks before Mid-Autumn).

To top it all off, the shop was staffed by 3 unmasked people, two of whom were trainees. My drinks order was, at least, eventually filled.

Went for a long hike in the morning and a friend suggested to go here after. Nice place, great service, and so many awesome option to try.

I love this place! Delicious bubble tea, great staff, beautiful building and space - lovely little spot for a refreshing treat!

Delicious drinks, quick service, super clean inside.
But insanely hot inside, instantly sweating as soon as we walked in. It was 27⁰ degrees outside today, real feel of 35⁰ and it felt refreshing to leave the restaurant.

Went with my family tonight and had a really great experience. The drinks were great, and the service was awesome. The person who helped us was extremely nice and thoughtful. I will definitely come back here again soon!

Worst experience ever. I just wanted to order black sugar fresh milk, then the cashier yelled at me “no pearls! ” I was shocked by her attitude, maybe you have a bad day and you want to close the store at 10: 40pm, but that’s not the reason you yelling at customer. Will never come back again.
By the way, there is no air conditioning. The indoor temperature is like to be 38°C (100°F) degrees.

Faz who works here is a really great guy. He's so helpful and really nice. Recommend this location based on him.

A tad pricey, but you get top tier customer service (for example they'll replace your drink if you don't like it), great tasting drinks, solid recommendations on what to get, and you can customize any drink on the menu in terms of ice quantity, sugar content, sweetener type, and dairy type.

Great bubble tea spot. Management makes the experience at the Kingston location exceptional. I had a simple question about the difference between signature and fresh milk tea and they gave me a complimentary second tea just so that I could compare the two AND a free up-size voucher. Talk about going above and beyond! For all the locals who have no idea what bubble tea is - check it out next time you want a cold refreshing drink!
