They are using paper straws that are not good quality.we tried putting the straw in the cup. The top was tight, and the straw wasn't strong enough. Today, it was a very bad experience

I had a very bad experience at this Chatime the other day. I ordered a mango tea colada and pointed to the sign while ordering. While waiting for my order, the employees were laughing and talking a lot instead of making the drinks. About 10 minutes after I ordered my drink, and this is only with about one person in front of me, I noticed the drink did not look like the picture, so I went back and said, "hi, I think this is the wrong drink I ordered the mango tea colada. " The woman working was very rude about it and rolled her eyes saying in a very snarky voice, "you ordered the mango tango. " I said that I pointed to the sign when I said it and the person I was with also heard me say the right thing. She grabbed the drink and started trash talking me to her employees while they laughed. She then gave me the drink and wouldn't even look at me. The drink was watery and did not taste how it should have. This is the SECOND time this week that the same Chatime has messed up. If you want good customer service and don't mind a bit of a trek, I'D STRONGLY RECOMMEND going to the Chatime located at Kingston rd in Pickering. They had AMAZING service compared to the employees at STC. This problem should seriously be looked into.

If you want to get good service and a decent flavor you have to go elsewhere or when they don't have too many people. Otherwise, they will rush to serve you and it'll be tasteless. I've been there so many times that's why I know. There was a time when I ordered it with less ice and I saw the staff making it, the thing is that they ran out of milk tea, and instead of waiting to have more in one of the containers, they added more ice to fill the cup so I ended up having normal ice and not what I asked and pay for. At first, I thought it was caused by some staff, but no, it's the location that is terrible. Even if I request my drink with EXTRA sugar (cause I know they don't add enough) it still tastes just like milk. It's not really worth it and you can find better bubble tea stores in STC. Sometimes the boba is too hard to chew.

Honestly, the drinks here are not that great and the customer service is okay. I usually get the Jasmine Jade milk tea with sea salt crema and it is heavenly. However, this location made it really watery and I did not like it at all. Mississauga and Toronto locations are so much better. Also, I asked for a bag to carry all of my drinks and the server said that it was 15 cents but in other locations they are free.

Today, I asked for a brown sugar pearl milk tea with less ice and regular sugar with no cream. After my number was called, I saw one of the staff make my bubble tea and they added cream to it. I specifically asked for no cream on my brown sugar bubble tea and the person making my bubble tea didn't listen to my request while I was in a rush to go watch a movie with a friend. What kind of customer service is this? I honestly think that they should train their staff to accommodate the requests from all customers.

It's a busy store, maybe that's the reason why employees are rude. They need better training with customer service, AND on how to make bubble tea. My drink tastes NOTHING like what I usually order from other locations.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING.but a couple of weeks ago, and today I bought the mango slush with pearls, and with a couple of sips of the drink, I felt sick.
I haven't tried the desserts yet. Service was amazing they were so nice. The store was small and the first time was cramped but the second time was amazing

Love your beverages but why the heck yall changed the straws to paper for? ! It does even help to poke hole in drink cup so how does one drink now?

Bubble tea was good but employees should definitely improve their customer service skills. Never experienced employees with such rude behaviour while getting customer’s orders in. They weren’t even trying to be a bit polite or patient with me getting my order in.

My daughter bought a Mango Tea, it tasted like a liquid plastic toy. Parents and kids, there are better places where you can get real fruit juices for a bit more money, avoid this molten plastic. No one knows that kind of chemicals, food colouring and artificial flavour goes into these drinks.

Ordered two passionfruit slushies both customized with 30% sugar at the Scarborough Town Centre location. I saw them making a big batch and then poured three cups as another person also ordered one. And sure enough when I took a sip it was full sugar. Obviously they didn't care to make two different batches in order to save time. I told them I asked for 30% sugar and the girl said that they can't make it with less sugar as it'd have no taste! She said you add the passionfruit syrup and then the sugar. Huh? Then add only 30% sugar! It has taste with 30% and whether it has taste or not is irrelevant. I'm the customer and that's how I like it. And what's the point of having sugar options if you make it all the same? For the price that they charge for these drinks and the fact that their menu allows customization they should build the drink to the customer specifications. Chatime needs to better train their staff at this location. I'm never going back there.

I like how it's pretty fast to get a drink, the service is great since they ask questions to make sure if you want to make any changes to your order, and they have enthusiasm aswell! Love it:)
although i always get my go-to drink here! Really refreshing flavours, and great tea! The tapioca pearls, most of the time they're pretty chewy, and they put alot of them in the cup.
Awesome job Chatime! Lots of perseverance even in a busy environment like the mall.

The round flat batty gal made the worse taro
"slush" I ever had. Then when asking questions about the drink she gave me attitude. She also told me chat time doesn't make taro slush only smoothies which is not true. There was no ice in my drink but I get ice at EVERY other location. Someone needs to train her again.

Chatime at stc has very good service, makes your beverages on point! Awesome workers/management. I always get my go-to bubble tea drink! They make your orders as you like it, if you guys want amazing service and best bubble tea. Go to Scarborough town centre location! You won’t regret it!

I feel like the person taking orders doesn’t listen properly when people are asking for their drink she charged me for 2 different drinks that I did not ask for & then when the drinks were made I told them that this isn’t what I asked for & she was telling me that she didn’t charge me for that onespecifically even though it wasn’t the drink I asked for… then she goes on to tell me if she could put the last drink that I had not ordered into the new drink so she wouldn’t waste it even though that was NOT the drink that I wanted…. Really unprofessional & bad customer service not to mention they take extremely long just to take an order.

I've been to this location multiple times and it has never been a good experience. The last (and final) time I visited this place, they sold me WATERED down roasted milk tea - I understand that I came at the end of the day, but if you're sold out of milk tea or don't have enough, just say so. I'll buy another drink. I didn't pay $7 just to get a cup of liquid that had no tea or milk flavour.
I've never had an experience like this at any other Chatime location either so.yea. Safe to say I won't be coming back.

These people work too hard and earn too little. Their pay rates should increase substantially to compensate for the amount of stress dealing with insane foot traffic in the shopping mall

I usually go early for their BT21 drinks and merchandise and they have it available.
