Chatime

Not the best bubble tea in this plaza especially with so many other options around here. Came in during their bubble tea promotion week and ordered their standard basic milk bubble tea. However, the drink had an unpleasant artificial aftertaste from either the boba or powder they use. I’m definitely not a bubble tea connoisseur, but it was the worst one I ever had. Service was decent and prompt, but unfortunately the quality of their drink will not entice me to come back no matter how cheap it might be.

This is a classic chatime and the workers are fast. Long lines on weekends but that goes for the entire plaza. I recommend here for a quick drink.

My daughter likes to get tea from them. They have a good business going, if you thought Starbucks was expensive, try this.

The wait was a bit long since only 5 people are allowed in the store. I was surprised to see that this was enforced in the store. People were ignoring the signs and staff didn't seem to care. People weren't socal distancing outside the store whole waiting to get into the store. The pick up area for your drinks is also terrible as they have uber/ doordashers coming by to pick up orders. They walk right up to those in-store customers who are also waiting for their drinks.

April 29,2021 19: 00, so many people stood in line in the rain at your door, just because an trainee, he ask his colleague about every order, unfamiliar with chatime products and workflow.

What a nice surprise it is to come to chatime at 11: 15PM at night (45mins before they close) and they say they have no tapioca left and aren’t going to make anymore for the rest of the night. This is the 4th time this month they’ve run out of tapioca near ~11: 00-11: 30PM even though they close at 12: 00AM. Do not come here for boba late at night if you want tapioca. Go to the other nearby stores in the same plaza.

I came in with a coupon for buy one drink and get one for $0.99. I presented the coupon right before my order and was informed that it would not work on any drinks that were already discounted, any seasonal drinks, or any drinks with brown sugar. Sadly I had come in to buy a drink with brown sugar and a seasonal drink with that coupon. When I left, I reviewed the fine print of the coupon and while it certainly does not apply to seasonal drinks, I should have been able to buy a brown sugar drink or anything that was already discounted. It would be best if this location would adhere to the rules posted on its coupons. The drink was fine though so I will give 3 stars.

Worst wait of all time, took over an hour for a drink since the workers couldn't balance between an uber eats order and an in-person order

Chatime is a great place to have a variety of teas. They have excellent flavours and they are all delicious. I have tried several and you won't be disappointed. I must state you should be prepared to wait in line for a long time, as they are always busy. Furthermore, they have enforced a six-person limit inside the store due to covid regulations.

If you don't want to wait outdoors. I suggest ordering online and you will receive a notification when your order is ready. I gave four stars because the pearls in my order was a bit hard and I was a bit disappointed️ as it is one of my favourite aspects of the drink

Overall, I love them and will be returning for more delicious teas.

I was placing orders by uber eat today. The pearl is super raw and hard to eat. 6 cups of pearl milktea we threw all of them. I can’t believe it. This is the first i having bad experience in Chatime btw.

Changed menu and they no longer make drinks/secret menu items that they are completely able to make (such as a warm Thai Milk Tea).

I love Chatime but waiting 20 min for an order seemed a bit out of character. I'm at chatime all around GTA quite often. Owner needs to hire more employees. The employees were working as fast as they could. In the 20 min waiting I saw 3 different orders of other customers where drinks were made wrong.

I don't care what people say or huff about it when it comes to the line or wait time at Chatime. PANDEMIC OR NO PANDEMIC these workers are absolute best and go to give them more credit than what they get paid for. The level of multi-tasking and getting the orders right without messing it up is a whole another skill and this location especially masters that. I have witnessed them pre-pandemic and during pandemic and how they deal with impatient customers, while physically maintaining in the location (as hard it is to) they do a phenominal job and its quite evident that the business isn't doing bad when they have lines however, probably like most business have been hit with a pandemic but these workers all deserve raises and shout out to the new ones learning during all this chaos. Thank you to all the workers for providing us services during these times. Thank you and keep it up' give them a raise or a holiday bonus because they deserve it!

2020 update: went back again for mobile pockup, faster than the 30mins estimate given by the web, staff very friendly. Liked the triple.roasted milk tea.

2019: I walked in and asked about the red pocket first to confirm if it's buy any two drinks to get it. The server said yes. Then I asked if the tea of the month can count as one of those drinks. She said yes. When I tapped my points card to buy, I asked again can I redeem points and get the red pocket. I think she only heard the first part plus she's new and seems to have trouble handling point redemption, so she didn't respond and I assumed that was a yes. After I redeemed both drinks and asked why I didn't get the red pocket sheTHEN told me it was because I redeemed points for the drinks. I said in that case I can pay full price (the cashier is still working on my transaction) they proceeded with the next customer and said I have to buy two more drinks, and I guess line again. Very disappointed about this customer service, i discarded the drinks unopened and left.

Ordered 3 drinks via chatime web ordering and arrived 10 minutes later to be told to wait another 15 mins. Took 45 mins for 3 drinks to be ready while the employees were non-apologetic and even rude when asked about the drinks. Poor customer service.

Charged me for my tea and THEN told me they don’t have it in stock. Just brilliant. And oh! Then they didn’t know how to process a refund. So I just waited for a half hour for no tea. Awful.

This place gets insanely busy but they usually deliver on the drinks. Wish they would be better at restocking toppings but probably more to do with pandemic than ordering. Employees here are pretty good and work fast.

Absolutely no social distancing! During a pandemic it is unacceptable to have crowded people inside such a small store. Avoid this location at all costs and help stop the spread. I’m surprised this hasn’t been brought to the attention of health officials yet.

Long lineups, ordering online doesn't help either. Store is quiet at times and yet it takes them forever to make a drink.

Been to this location as well as other countless times. The bubble tea is good, only complain is the wait time, usually 20+ minutes on the weekend at night. Otherwise, good bubble tea's. Got the Sakura Sweetheart this time, with 30% sugar and no ice.

The one at Midland honestly is so bad the service is just unbelievably slow regardless of the length of the line if you want to waste 30 minutes to wait in life and another 30 minutes to get your drink then Midland is the right location for you

The drinks are great, as any branch of this franchise. But the layout is poorly thought out, leading to a lot of crowding in the centre walkway. The shop is also too small to keep up with demand at peak times

I love all the bubble teas that this place offers what I don't like is that every single time that I have gone in or I have ordered some type of dessert I am always getting a call or someone saying that they never have anything available food wise. Usually always a disappointment in that area

This is my second time visiting Chatime and I really like it because there are a variety of different drinks and toppings. You'll have plenty of time to decide on a drink because this place is always bumpin'.
I visited this location with some friends around 9pm on a Sunday and it was super busy. The drink was excellent and the employee who took our order was polite.

My biggest problem about this location is the restroom. It's beyond filthy and there was bodily substance over and under the seat. Makes me wonder if the restroom is only cleaned once every few days.

Went here new years day cause I got a 50% off coupon. Wait 1.5 hours in line to get a drink.

Service is always slow and place is always packed. If it wasn't for the coupon I would not be standing in line.

Love Chatime, this location can have long lines but that's normal during busy times. Non busy times are perfect

Not the best location I've been to. Service is alright and the bubble tea is average. I'd likely return with friends if we want bubble tea cause its convenient and there are lots of other food options in the area. As always, chatime is hit or miss with the quality depending on the location which is disappointing

I went here yesterday and got the matcha sea salt crema. I waited 20 mins in line and another 15 mins for someone to make the drink. I understand it gets busy however there was only one barista and one cashier. Fine. But my matcha drink wasnt even stirred properly and a bunch of powder was left in it. Had to throw the whole thing out

The worst chatime location I've ever been to. I have also ordered through Uber eats at this location and have been disappointed all times! Once, it took almost 2 hours for my order to be delivered and just recently they were sold out of one of the desserts and I had tried replacing with something else but my session timed out because the location had closed!? !? ! But it closes at 2am and I placed the order at 10: 45pm? !? ! How is that even possible! THE WORST!

Love their bubble teas, good flavors. Is always busy there, so don't be in a hurry when you decide to try it.

Amazing Service! Friendly and helpful staff! Always have good quality tapaioca, milk tea and other beverages regardless of the time (even 5 minutes before closing)! I strongly recommend this Chatime to any bubble tea fans out there! Out of all the locations i've been to this is by far the best and me and my wife always go here whenever we want some good quality chatime!:)

Super slow when there’s only a handful of drinks in cue. The staff then decided to make the Uber order that just came in first and jump the cue. ‍️‍️‍️

Very busy location normally but always a great experience. Recently tried their sesame chiffon cake - on point! Try their cakes if you haven't. My favs are the sesame Swiss Roll and chiffon cakes. Millie crepe was not as good as the originals from the actual Millie Creperie locations (for this you're better off going to Kennedy T&T plaza or downtown Spadina/King).

Drinks are good like every other store.

From like friday till weekend and anytime later at night it gets busy.

Maybe it would get less busy when it's winter but I doubt it since this plaza is super busy.

I go to this place more times than I wish to admit but its a great location to go to if you want some good bubble tea! They are open pretty late compared to other Chatime locations so if you don't know where to go at like 11 at night, this place is a good option. Despite how busy it can get at times, they don't mess up the order and they keep the same quality each time, but they do take some time if it's really busy. I also recommend getting the twice baked cheese tart if they have any, its amazing!

This chatime is located in a very dense and busy plaza, if you go during peak times good luck finding close parking. When you get in, there’s normally a really long line and you have to wait a long time to get your drink. Their bubble tea isn’t even that good, it’s sub par compared to the other options around. Very busy location and most of the time they don’t have enough staff.

Customer service is usually nice, and the drinks I've ordered here have always been great with good portions of tapioca. However, this location can get insanely busy and service is slow at times even if the store isn't busy.

This location is in a popular Plaza. Usually you are able to get parking but on the weekends with can be quite a challenge. At this location you get the standard good service ingrate offerings like other branches. I do find a day or above average courteous and polite here and there's definitely a regular stream of people coming in and out. It's definitely a busy place. I think that's a compliment to this place because of the few other options 4 Bubble Tea in the same Plaza. When you get your drink don't forget that you can always reduce the sugar 280 or 50 or 30 or even none and also same goes for your ice. Even though it's quite busy and a lot of people come in the amount of seating and tables was adequate. The nature of the crowd is definitely younger and a minimum of two thirds Asian at any time.

This location is super understaffed. Takes over half an hour to get one drink which is ridiculous. The wait is definitely not worth it and you might as well go to another location. The drinks are alright, typical Chatime but no other locations have waits like this. There are also so many other options in the plaza which is why I probably won’t be back.

When I ordered a Jasmine milk tea with tapioca which showed on the receipt they instead gave me a regular milk tea with tapioca.

Drinks are good like most other chatimes which is one of my go-to bbt places. I think I come at good times. Line aren't too long when I come and service is fast.

Staffs are nice and place is clean too! My favorite is LYCHEE YOGHURT QQ! (Its sweet enough with 0% sugar) It’s the BEST AND MUST TRY

This location is messy (rat traps everywhere), the washroom was filthy, and the workers were rude.

Also, ordered a milk tea with tapioca and they gave me the wrong topping.

Was just trying to use the point system but it's always down at this specific location.

Standard teahouse chain, one of the better franchises out there. Got a wintermelon iced tea with pearls. They didn't mess up the amount of ice and sugar so that was nice. You get what you pay for.

This Chatime location is so small, washrooms and tables are not maintained and cleaned. Line ups are long with barely any space to move around and the people who make drinks love to take their time making them. Not the first time they got my order wrong

Chatime is over rated, there's better places around the area.
