Chatime Innovation Bar at Yorkdale is my go-to spot for a delightful boba experience. The cozy ambiance and efficient service make it perfect for a quick take-out fix. What sets the Innovation Bar apart is Chatime’s commitment to trying new things, and it shows. I had my eye on the Matcha Mango, a concoction I saw only in Asia on Instagram, and to my delight, they had it here. The blend of bitter matcha and sweet mango was impeccable—each sip was a perfect balance. It’s this willingness to innovate that keeps me coming back. Overall, a thoroughly satisfying visit!

Came and the dude was so nice I could've sworn he was held at gunpoint. Dude literally knew me for years type of kindness like what, this is amazing. Of course it's a chat time so the food they produce is what it iz. Honestly tho what they be feeding these guys at this station BC it must be kindness juice.

The guy that took my order was pretty rude. He seemed to not speak English well or had bad hearing and kept repeating what!? So I gave up on adjusting sugar or ice and just simply said the menu name and he finally understood. The drink tasted so watered down with no flavour but just sugar. And the lid was disgusting. There was no seats, no outlets, so I closed the lid to walk around, and the lid was full of dust as if it has been rolling on the floor for hours attracting all the dust. Since I was walking, the drink hit the lid and took the dust into the drink. I had to throw the whole thing out. Service, taste, cleanliness, and price were all horrible

First time trying Atelier Chatime today at Yorkdale Mall with my friend. I got the jasmine pekoe tea with bubble tea! It was around $7ish with tapioca. It was delicious but unfortunately, and I didn’t realize till too late, my cup had a small almost imperceptible hole at the bottom and it was slowly leaking. I didn't notice at first till someone said to me that my drink was leaking on the ground. But, at this point I was on the Go Bus leaving the mall to head home and I couldn’t go back and ask them to make a new one. I’m disappointed in the packaging. I paid $7 ish for a drink and probably only had drank a quarter before it was a leaky mess and I had to toss it. Luckily, I had a plastic bag so I could contain most of the leak. Disappointed.

Standard bubble tea. Like their cake n macarons. Friendly staff both the hijabis are super nice.

People at the counter don't know what is in stock and what isn't. I placed by order and stayed there for about 10mins and then they say they are unable to make my order. When you ask for the refund they can't give it back to the same card I paid with because they don't have their supervisor at the store at that time. Only very few knows to make the drink right, others just are there playing around.

The lady with hijab and asian lady were so rude. Why do you even ask for tips in the card machine with the customer service? Lol

I wish there were more innovation bars around the city! The matcha mango drink is superb and the staff here are so hard working!

I find they’re very rude at this location. I didn’t realize this location had a different menu and they were rolling their eyes and scoffed at me. They didn’t call out my number they just put a random drink on the counter so I went up and checked. I don’t quite know what I did but but it was pretty odd. I guess they understandably have to deal with a lot at this location. Maybe they just needed to take it out on someone that they knew would just accept it.

They did not have QQ juice but the London Fog was delicious. We got it with brown sugar pearls.

The cups themselves are really nice, and we watched the gentleman who handed us the drinks meticulously wipe off everyones drink before handing them off. That's a nice touch!

My teen daughter fo love this store for a specific unique drink hardly any other bubble tea places do sell. Quick customer service but some of the young staff, can be rather impatient if you are new.

I tried the Blue Sakura drink at Chatime Innovation Bar as they were out of matcha for the matcha mango drink that I wanted to try with two tiers.

The drink was pretty. But I felt this drink flavour was a tad bland from the butterfly pea flower (blue) and Sakura nectar (orange) combination. I wasn’t blown away. Lots of water in the drink did help quench my thirst.

Pretty pricey for the size (i got a regular and it was $8 +tax) and doesn’t taste that great compared to regular chatime locations…

Everytime I come to Yorkdale or around the area this bubble tea shop is always my go to spot. I never really had problems with the service and drinks. But as I visited today due to how loud it was and how I was looking at the menu to figure out what other drinks to grab for my family members the lady in the front of cash yells for me. Which at first I was taken aback but I realized I might’ve not heard what they had said the first few times. As I ordered my drink I paid and I mentioned I didn’t want a receipt, and as I walk away they calls out to me saying about the receipt and I shake my head not really understanding what she said and she asked her pardon and she looks at me and starts to yell that they haven’t given me my order number. I walk back and take it in disbelief as I await my drinks. I’m a student that’s worked at a bubble tea shop as well and as loud and stressful as it gets. I’ve never really had a reason to tell or give out the same attitude as she gave me.

Overall the drinks were good and my family likes them, but leaving this location disappointed.

We were excited to try out their “special” menu at this location. Tbh, I am disappointed! Tokyo-Matsu Matcha Latte tasted average, like any other bubble tea store.but I tasted clamps and clamps of matcha powder in the drink, which I don’t think it’s acceptable for a cup of drink costing around $7 dollars. And Blue Sakura tasted like chemical, perfume chemical.

Good service, however blue sakura tasted like soap. Very artificial and seems like it’s just water and some kind of syrup. No tea taste whatsoever.

Ordered the Blue Sakura which tasted amazing. My only issue is I don't understand why the one worker who wasn't even serving me made it a point to go on and on about the drink to her coworker and then say that people who order this drink are weird (right in front of me)

I feel there original stores are a lot better, I think trying to do much because inside “Yorkdale”

One of the first (if not the first, I don't quite remember) Innovation Bars from Chatime! They always have great new flavours and is very unique from their regular Chatime locations. My favourite is the Black Onyx. Their honey golden pearls (even though I'm not usually a fan of tapioca) are actually very tasty (and sweet), so if you get this topping, I recommend lowering the sugar level of your actual tea.

The staff are always super friendly, efficient, and helpful. They also have some pretty funny nametags, so be on the lookout for that for a nice laugh. Beware that this location typically has a lineup, so be prepared to wait! Also, the inside of this location is always very hot for some reason - hotter than the rest of the mall.

Very rude service from one specific rep ms Khadija, at this location. Unacceptable as customer service

Got the Hojicha smoothie and it was very watered down. Would not recommend. Overpriced too. A regular costed 7.40 after tax.

I liked the store and its renovated teas. It is located just at the entrance from the subway to the mall which makes this location great for grabbing a drink either getting in or out of the mall.
Beware that they do not serve the regular milk teas you can find at normal Chatime stores.
Lastly, do not go near London Fog Tea here. It might be the worst London Fog I have ever tried in any format. My mouth is still sore after a few sips. I had to throw the rest.
Jasmine Tea is great though. It is so great that I usually buy an extra cup and drink it later at home.

Lots of options to choose from and the teas are really great. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea which was okay. The design of the store is nice and the staff were pleasant enough. The location can get very busy

We ordered through uber eats twice because it keeps on saying COMPLETE but we never received anything yet. We waited 5 hours for the order to arrive, but it never did. When I called the yorkdale chatime, they just told me that I have to cancel my order because they don’t have the tapioca. YOU GUYS SHOULD PUT YOUR PRODUCT ON OUTAGE OR CALL THE CUSTOMER! YOU GUYS ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE FOR THIS.

Experience low quality of service… and people works here never care your order, as long as they take the money, that’s it. If you don’t follow up your order. You will wait the whole day

Very convenient location, steps away from Yorkdale station.

The fancy drinks can be a bit confusing but they're happy to explain each option to you.

Tapioca quality is great compared to other Chatime locations.

It's ok but wouldn't make a trip specifically to visit it. It has many special and unique flavours but they were underwhelming.

The service and organization needs a bit of improvement. This Chatime is part of their Innovation Bar stores, so there's lots of their specialty experimental items. The staff are very knowledgeable of the specialty items and make sure to explain them to you if you're unclear.

Beverages taste consistent with other Chatime locations that I've visited before. I appreciate they offer Sago as a topping here. They offer hot and cold beverages which are good. I love the Passionfruit Glow which they have!

However, the service could be slightly more improved. While I was there, maybe someone was on break but.there was constantly 5 people in front of us with 6-7 people behind us waiting to get served. The staff had two people for intake orders, but 1 staff creating the beverage and 1 to service/finish up. That doesn't make sense at all and causes a bit of an over crowdedness inside the store unit (which isn't that big).

If you're not in any hurry, I suppose the wait could be worth it. But if you're not, just go for Tim Hortons and skip this location.

The service here is great and I love the interior design. However, I ordered the Thai milk tea (which is available at all Chatime locations now anyway) and it tasted.for lack of a better word, weird. It was overly sweet despite not using 100% sugar and for some reason, I had a feeling the drink came from powder. It was really artificial. The grass jelly was also not well-made; it was very mushy and had an unappetizing texture in my mouth. If you want to get a Thai milk tea, just get it at the regular Chatime locations since they're much better

The white guy gave me a regular straw with my bubble tea and unfortunately I didn't notice until I left the mall. I did not know this would cause so much frustration and anger! I could sip nothing up because, of course, a pearl got jammed in the bottom and when I took it out to see what happened, the milk that got into the straw before the jam, spilled all over me. This was when I noticed oh, the straw's too small. I just got home and cut the lid because it doesn't even peel off easily and I'm sitting here eating the drink with my spoon, all sticky and messy. 0/10 This sucks.

They seem to be short staffed at times, line ups are long and overall the wait is long. Otherwise the drinks are delicious. Mimi is knowledgeable and attentive. She provided amazing customer service.

More expensive than regular Chatimes if you're trying to get basic drinks. In my case, they don't have the chatime pearl milktea on their menu so you have to get a Chatime milktea with pearls added which costs more. They're also pretty slow making the drinks whenever I go, meanwhile there's a staff just spending their time putting stickers on their cups with a full line of people waiting to receive their drinks.

Ive been twice in the same week and everytime theyre sold out on something. I think they should put what ingredients theyre sold out on on a poster so people dont waste time waiting in a long line. SOFRUSTRATING

Had their manually frothed taro team item. Tasted really good, but i wish the taro strong was a little stronger. I would also reccomend they make this drink with less ice as it takes away from the flavor. FYI- i already asked for minimal ice.

The tapioka also was not brown for some odd reason

I tried their creme brulee it was really good the only thing about this particular chatime is that doesn't matter what day or time I go there they never have normal tapioca available. Highly suggest to get the reusable straw I love it and great for the environment.

Sunday June 26th at 1: 50pm I was talked shortly but aggressively. Nothing bad was said but the tone was more than enough. If a bit of kindness traits you a long way then a bit of rudeness is a monumental step back. Talk to your staff to prevent them from making people cry. Thank you for you time and I'm sorry to quit to patron your business.

I tried the brown sugar creme brulee drink and oh my days, I fell in love! It was sooo delicious!

I am a HUGE fan of Chatime anything, and I love the innovation bar. Every drink I've had there is so good. The Black Onyx, Genmaicha, and Hojicha teas are standouts. The problem is, they seem to be sold out of things very frequently. I wish this wasn't the case because I'd love to try a bunch more of the drinks. Still, I love you Chatime.

Every time I come here I’m greeted with bright smiles and positivity. Tonight I was served by Jenn, Kimmie and Ang. Their speed of service was immaculate and the drinks I bought tasted amazing! Thanks again, definitely recommend coming to this innovation bar if you’re shopping at Yorkdale.

Great service from a woman named Emily. She took the order with enthusiasm, recommended some great toppings when I asked for suggestions, and promptly made the order (correctly!). Will be back in the future!
