Cheap Noods

Have read the reviews before I went to the place, so I was excited to try the Winter Bite Menu. After waited for food for more than 1/2 hour, food is definitely subpar. The dumplings were very flavorful but cold. The Bao bun was soft but a little too sweet. These were actually better part of the meal. I got the pork belly Ramen, it was not great. The broth lack of flavor but filled with raw onion and garlic. The pork belly was good size but cold. The noodle worse of it all was a soggy clump of mess. My friend had the braised short rib. The short rib aside, the so called Mac and Cheese was quite disgusting. Pretty much Mac with cheese melted on top (not even completely melted). Very disappointed indeed. I think the kitchen / restaurant is definitely not prepared for the demands of the winter bite menu. Under nornal circumstances, it might be better, but I probably won't go back and try again.

The food was well priced, convenient, and filled the belly. The real stars come with the young lady who runs the floor of beach of them at the host bar Manchester, and the bar itself. The waitress who served me was very friendly, professional and would be the main reason I would recommend Cheap Noods as a great late night grub grab.

The current host bar Manchester is also a destination worth checking out.

Where is the new location? I heard there was a patio somewhere.

Genuinely some of the best ramen I've ever had, highly recommend the beef ramen especially if you like your Montreal steak spice

Ill be honest I expected very little going to a pub for ramen and dumplings and they surprised me with amazing food

They serve inside the Manchester, a bit strange.
The Ramen was not bad at all it was well decorated at taste good, although the noodles look like linguine pasta.

Hunter and Granville know how to make a fantastic bowl of noodles, and the dumplings are a must-have as well! If you’re ever looking for a great meal late at night or even a place to hang out, Cheap Noods inside the Manchester Pub should be at the top of your list

Great fast service for dine in, but the ramen beef broth tasted like water with 1 beef bouillon cube thrown in. Nice presentation but flavorless broth, uncooked red onions and fettuccine noodles. The beef cuts were the only good thing in the dish. I had high hopes but it left me disappointed.

The food looks amazing don’t get me wrong but it’s not even ramen the soup base for the pork ramen tasted like a piece of pork bone was used to sprinkle it’s essence on it it basically tasted like water the meat was not marinated properly leading to more favor on the skin then inside the noodles were pho noodles like what? Not even actually ramen noodles over all I would say the food was a scam.

Love the idea of a late night spot! As a bartender who works late hours this is my favourite late night place. Dumplings are my fave

Chef knows what he was doing and nailed everyone's order to perfection. Can't wait to go back

I didn’t like the food or service
The egg was good but the rest was subpar. The red onion was excessive and raw. If that’s the traditional way then perhaps try slicing it thinly instead of chunks so it can cook in the broth as its being served.
Felt rushed by the waitress as well when we had 40 mins before their closing. I get it’s late but you’re a late night place.

I don’t see myself returning, only gave it a 3 because I hate bashing local

The ramen is delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of them honestly! Chicken dumplings are my favorite! Definitely recommend giving them a try!

An incredible ramen experience. Portions were incredibly fair for the price, beef was tender and well portioned, everything was on point. I only recommend ordering an extra egg half because they are so very good.

Worst noods I’ve had, would have rather bought 50 cent cup of noodles. Very disappointed and disgruntled

No idea how the food was because they never took my order. Waited over half an hour, and it wasn't even that busy. Going to stick to other ramen places in the city. Hikari is expensive but they have good service and amazing food.edit to reply to response: Yes, that is correct.

Ordered off of Uber, man I forgot how frustrating trying to use chopsticks is. The food was delicious and the staff followed the instructions to a T. Will definitely be stopping in sometime to have the full experience

Tried chicken ramen. It was trash. Pasta noodles, chicken wasn't edible.broth was pretty basic (but tasted homemade) but was able to add seasoning to it to give it flavour. Will not be back.

Dumpling need to be fried a little more. The bowl of ramen was not so good. The noodles are definitely not ramen noodles over cooked and mush. Soup wasn't bad. Should replace carrots with bean sprouts. Instant ramen noodles are better than those noodles. Expect better especially being Asian. Smh.

I've tried every single item on the menu, so I can confidently say THIS IS THE BEST RAMEN SPOT IN WINDSOR AND YOU CAN'T CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE! The service is quick, presentation is perfect, every bite is better than the last and the staff treat you like family. The one thing I hate is that every time when I finish my food is that I eventually have to leave! If they could somehow ensure that they don't have to close up at the end of the night, or if I could somehow move in so I could have continuous fresh ramen served to me day and night would make that place even better! And the portions are HUGE! If you ask for a large bowl, YOU GET A LARGE BOWL! So would I recommend this place to a friend? No. I recommend it to EVERYONE!
