Checker Limousine

Slow answering the phone, kind of expensive. I gave 3 stars because I observed one of the drivers assisting an elderly lady into a store. He didn't have to, but in his words " it costs nothing to be kind"! I admire that in people!

We drove behind one of your vehicles today (Nov 18th 2023), and they ended up driving the same direction as us from London to Guelph, they ended up in the area of the Guelph Hospital.

I’m giving a 1 star review because of the way they were driving, it was incredibly dangerous on the highway, slowing right down randomly, keeping the blinker on, swerving into the other lane, and this was happening on both the highway and in the city. Almost caused an accident on Wellington and Edinburgh. It was like they did not know how to drive. They should not have been on the highway.
Editing to add that we were behind them at 12: 00, splitting up around 12: 20 at the hospital road.

The cab always comes on time or early. The cab is always warm on these winter nights. Most drivers will carry on a good conversation which makes the trip shorter. I have been very happy with the service. Ron

Used to take Checker long time ago when I lived in London. Recently used this service again. Drivers are friendly, courteous, professional. Fast service. My go to for a clean ride and reliable too. No one compares. Choose Checker Limousine.

I used checker limo for a trip to the airport on October 13 and had excellent service. However on my return trip on November 4 the service was beyond horrible. I called and spoke with a female dispatcher she took the information and assured me a car was on the way, they never showed up I called back and the dispatcher was very rude said a car was coming again they didn't show up called back again and they never answered. The airport was closing at 11: 30 and I still had no ride. Finally a driver called me and in formed me he was at some other address in London waiting for me I informed him I was at the airport waiting for him he told me "oh well that's to bad and didn't offer to come pick me up just said these things happen. Thank God for the wonderful staff at the airport and Yellow taxie who came within minutes to get me home. I would never use this service again. What a terrible service to leave someone stranded at night like that. Shame on you Checker limo.

I called for a cab earlier this morning at around 4 only for the dispatcher to say "Sorry no cabs call again after 5! " Everytime I asked why or mentioned that I needed to get to work for 5, he would repeat "No cabs call after 5. " Before hanging up I asked him "That's it, no explanation? " And he just said "Nope call after 5. " I called again after work to complain, and ask why that would happen, I was simply told "Maybe the night shift left and the morning shift didn't come in yet". Something, which I suppose is possible yet unlikely considering that I used to take Checker more often at all hours and never had an issue getting a cab, or an explanation. The whole thing felt like there was something they didn't want to tell me.

Curtious and with a minimal wait time even at peak morning rush hour. Arrived promptly and safely to my destination. Will certainly call upon them whenever needed

Go, checker, saved my butt today when I accidentally ordered store pick up instead of delivery for Walmart.always a great service! Thank you go checker!

Been using checker for well over 15 years never had a problem but the past month it's nothing but headache. Yes the cars are very clean most of the drivers are very pleasant but dispatch on the other hand awful specialty the afternoon staff (not all). I woukd only deal with the evening dispatch they are amazing and they go beyond to help you. I use checker everyday 5 days a week not happy with tge service. I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I only take Checker, and have encouraged my friends to do likewise. The drivers are friendly, courteous and helpful. The cabs are always clean. Have never had a bad experience.
I highly recommend Checker.

Driver called and wouldn't even let me speak or let me cancel definitely won't be using again

Driver of car #191 refused to drive me downtown from the airport because I was paying with a credit card. He actually made me get out of the car! Unbelievable how I was treated

Our flight was canceled and the Airline send us to our connecting airport with Checkers. First our driver seemed nice and chatty. Well his driving was reckless and way to fast for canadian standarts. He was on the phone texting all the time and playing on his tablet to check for returners to the original airport. Our luggage was to heavy for him (under 20kg) so at the drop off he just opened the trunk and kicked us out, also because it was raining.

Well, considering we used Checker for my daughter and myself to get to her wedding venue as I thought it would better service than and yes, she was in her wedding dress and the driver did not even get out to open the door for us upon his arrival or at our destination, not impressed!

Gone so far downhill. The past 3 drivers I have had were actually awful. I used to love checker, now I'd just as soon get into a disgusting cab then deal with them. Oh, good luck getting them to take any accountability. No matter how wrong they are or how far out of line they are, they refuse to refund you.

I have been happily using Checker for work for over 10 years now. The service - from dispatch to the drivers to the vehicles - has always been excellent and I have never hesitated to share positive feedback with their head office. Today, I had the need for transportation with my dog - something I assumed would be difficult to find - so I was very happy to hear that Checker allows dogs as long as you communicate that at the time of booking. I made the booking almost 24 hrs.in advance, provided the details of my dog and confirmed the pickup time for the next day. 10 min.before my scheduled pickup, Checker calls to let me know that because I am travelling with my dog - they may not have a driver for me. I explained that I had made the booking well in advance, had communicated all the details and confirmed the pickup. The caller then shared that there are no guarantees of a driver/vehicle - in general - but especially with a dog - when they’re busy. When I reminded her that I had booked this well in advance, specifically because I had the dog and they were now giving me 10 min notice to come up with an alternate plan - I was basically told ‘not our problem. ’ At no point was there an apology - if anything the attitude was more that I should have known this could happen and should have been prepared with a plan B. Thanks for the memories Checker…. I will definitely find a plan B!

Worst limo ride to Pearson airport ever. On the hottest day of the year, the air conditioning of the Checker Limo did not work. It was unbearable. Never again.

Checker cabs were on time, very clean cabs, very helpful with luggage. I highly recommend them.

We use them for company transfer between the airport and hotel. Always late, or 1 out of 2 cars shows up and you wait 15-45 minutes for the second one. Wait on hold for a disinterested dispatcher who might take the time to call a car or check where they are. Airport staff laugh at them.

The cab was filthy. Smells so bad that I had to open one of windows during my entire trip.
