Good seats with good views. The concession stand was closed. Lots of parking available. The only negative (I know it is not directly related to the arena)! Was the extraordinarily selfish official who was one of the two referees who made the game all about him. He should be sanctioned. He was on a power trip, the like of which I have never seen. He ruined an otherwise enjoyable day trip to the Hammer!

Nice arena, concession isn't open enough and they never turn the heaters on. Beautiful layout though.

came out to the twinpad (CTPA) to watch tryouts for the u10 huskies and bulldogs.

CTPA is on a sprawling property yet is a beautiful, straightforward facility.what i appreciate is that both rinks have proper seating, with excellent vantage points.there's also some seating outside of the rinks as well, for those folks that prefer a room-temperature viewing environment.one star gets knocked off for the parking, which can get crowded and tight to navigate, especially for those folks that drive big trucks.there's a concession stand in the facility, that runs on really limited hours.no pro shop/skate sharpening service on the property, unfortunately.unlike mohawk, at least at chedoke, the roof doesn't leak water and the seating areas inside each rink aren't freezing cold either.parents mentioned that the washrooms/change rooms are adequate.bottom line: i would return to CTPA to watch games if necessary.

Good view from auditoriums anywhere. Cold. No heaters though, parts have been on order since may the sign says going into the arenas. Rows of seats are close together for tall people.

2 quality ice surfaces, unobstructed viewing and large dressing rooms make this a great choice to hold hockey tournaments. 2 areas allotted for parking. Home to the Hamilton Huskies minor league hockey team. Alumni include Paul Henderson, Frank Caprice and many former NHL coaches and players.

This should be a great place if it had a skate sharpening shop and a lounge somewhere we can get some food other than french fries

Great place for skating. My children loved it. Peope seems to be well behaved, including the teenagers. The arena is big and there was enough place foe everyone to skate.

I visited the arena for a hickey tournament over the Christmas holidays and I was pleasantly surprised how well organized it was, from going paperless with game sheets to running a food drive for a local food bank. Supportive staff and great sportsmanship all throughout. We took home the gold, but we were also a key contributor to the food drive teaching our boys a valuable life lesson on importance of giving back. Great experience overall!
Mohawk arena was very cold to play at. Heaters were off during all our games. Boys didn't mind, of course, but parents needed a good warm up after the games ;)
