Cheese Boutique

It's a special treat if we make our way to the Cheese Boutique. The best of everything food related. My favourite parts to check out is the cheese section and the meat section. We have had some tasty meat from here. Korean spare ribs, chicken and burgers. It reminds me of a place we used to love when we lived in Halifax called Pete's Froutique. If you have the chance, definetly check out Cheese Boutique. I know you will find a nice treat for yourself.

Always the best found a new cheese and wow it was good. The new up stairs just great won't tell you what's up there you need to see for yoursrleves

My daughter & I have been frequenting cheese boutique for well over five years together & we are always welcomed with friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have the very best Italian hot chocolate and the best selection of baked goods, with cheese & bread to die for ~ variety & quality x 100%! You can not find a better place to hang and get your specialty items and groceries. Always welcomed and waiting to go again!

The biggest cheese store I've ever seen in my entire life.
In addition, it offers other services, including bakery, fruit shop, flowers, among others.
The decor is fascinating, the staff are friendly and very helpful.
I recommend.

Anytime I visit Toronto I go here. This is as good as it gets for products. Cheese beef or whatever you are looking for.

The Cheese Boutique shop is a landmark in Toronto. It's the best cheese collection I’ve ever seen. Fine products should be paired with a top-notch service, which is also the case. Alejandro, a fine porteño gentleman, gave us the best suggestions a charcuterie board could have. He's a cheese connoisseur and shared (and sampled) some of his knowledge. Such a dreamy place! Amazing quality and selection of worldwide cheeses, cold cuts, meats (dry aged, etc). You can also find array of olive oils, good spices, salts, condiments, breads, etc. What a lovely place

Absolutely fantastic place to spend the day. Did the cheese boutique level 1 tour and I cannot begin to say how wonderful everyone was. Happy, friendly and so welcoming. I would recommend everyone do a tour.

Great selection of imported and local items. If you go there hungry, you may end up spending a fortune.

If you like food, you're going to love this place! Two locations on the street provide everything you need to make your kitchen spectacular and they even have a cafe and hot table. So glad we discovered it!

I politely explained to them that I was masked exempt due to a medical condition but still refused indoor service asking me to leave. Since you guys are accessible to the public and have a city permit you must respect the by-laws and the human rights code stating that mask exemptions do apply. The by-laws signs about mask-wearing and exemptions were not even on the door. Also, a small chunk of feta for one average meal is almost 10 dollars which is super expensive since you can buy a whole 1.5kg block of it and feed a whole family for approximately 20$, never going again.

I would love to give you five starts, but lately I have been throwing out most items that I buy in your shop because they have spoiled. I bought a $10 assorted cheese pack, and when I opened it, so many pieces of cheese were covered in mold! The vegetables only last two days in the fridge and then go bad. Just recently I threw out another $10 worth of Brie cheese because it overwhelmingly smelled like ammonia. I have also seen many items on the shelves that have spoiled and even pointed it out to your staff. At your prices this is completely unacceptable, and I don't think I want to come back, until you please do something about it. Disappointed.

Omg, I love this place. I can’t believe I only recently discovered it. Thanks to Kitchen Guerilla. It’s like getting lost in a candy shop but with cheese, bouquets, sauces, & so much more. I love this place.

What a beautiful cheese boutique and it has EVrRYTHInG you need and MORE.like anything you can eat, they have it. And why they gotta be so nice? ! We went 10 min before it closed and did not feel rushed. Will be back and will update review!

I turned onto Ripley thinking parking would be difficult, but no, there was a person guiding traffic to make sure your first impression would be a good one. Then as I walked into this beautiful store I was greeted with an amazing selection of cheese, meats, vegetables and fruit. The staff were all incredibly helpful and professional. I was thrilled. But more than that I was thrilled with the reaction of my daughter, a professional chef, when I presented her cheese plate birthday cake. Priceless.

Lots of gourmet foods in a small space! If you like seeing huge sections of carcass being cut into chops and steaks, you'll love the butcher counter. There's also, of course, a huge cheese counter, a pastry counter, and all manner of packaged European foods that you just won't find at Loblaws.

Great shop with a huge selection. Everything was very tidy and organized. The staff were very friendly. I was pretty turned off when I spoke with a staff member at the cheese counter who had long fake nails (and no gloves). She first opened up cheese WITH those nails and then continued to open up more cheeses with her bare hands. I work in the food industry and I know you can't wear gloves 24/7 but in front of customers and especially when handling food I'm not going to cook? ! Wear gloves!

Amazing selection of not only cheeses but also salumerie and dried goods. I find their vegetables and fruits a bit overpriced but very fresh - some are understandable since you can't find it anywhere else.

Best cheese shop in the city. They select their cheese with care and aged it skillfully. The cheese here just tastes different, and most often, better than elsewhere. The only piece of constructive a criticism I can offer is that the olive bar sometimes looks neglected and the items are over-fermented and bubbling. The housemade charcuterie and pastry could be improved to match the quality of their cheese, but now I am nitpicking.

Staff are wonderful and helpful and the selection of product is wonderful. But like a previous poster they do need to be a bit more careful with the number of people allowed inside. Perhaps take into consideration how much product and aisle there are using up floor space and not the overall square footage of the building when deciding what 25% is

Didn't take it serious, I mean a boutique if cheeses BUT they got a unique selection of food, including Canadian cheeses with some good offers for low $$. I was told the place is well known in the neighborhood although I thought the setting was weird in a hidden residential area. Likes the food trucks on the weekends although they didn't have what I really wanted: a typical cheese sandwish!

Best "cheese store" I've been to in Ontario. They are passionate about cheese. Fabulous selection of high quality cheese. A little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Don't forget the butcher counter as it's excellent as well.

Such an amazing experience. Great customer support and service. Ordered a cheese basket to deliver for my aunt's birthday. Courtney was great and helped me pick out lovely selection of products within my budget. It arrived on time and turned out beautifully! Would highly recommend and order from here again. Can't wait to go in person from MTL once COVID permits. Thanks guys!

Nice staff and great selection of products. A bit busy during times of Covid though. Mind you, I went during the weekend when this is bound to happen. They should consider letting less people inside at once though as it is hard to safely social distance here.

A really great cheese shop, with all sorts of products from Europe! They have a great cheese variety, but also a cured meat selection, as well as many delicatessen pantry products ranging from pastas and crackers, to fresh produce and a butcher section. They also have a great patisserie section, with fresh sweets and snacks. Staff are very polite, and made sure to take care of us by offering snacks while we were queueing outside.

Oh what a wonderful place. I can't say enough good things about this place. A fantastic discovery. A gem. Nothing less. The wonderful staff, starting at the gentlemen guiding you for parking, are kind, helpful and you see that they love what they do because it shows in the products. Cheese, cold cuts arranged in the perfect fashion and cut perfectly, mouth watering meats, and simply phenomenal pastries. End it with smiling staff and cashier and the starting gentlemen helping you get out of the parking safely, this is something I would drive 4 hours for every weekend!

The name doesn't say it all. The cheese is definitely the best find not only in the city but probably the country. They treat their cheese like family, nurtured, celebrated, cared for until ready to be out on their own and they are still so much more than cheese. The best selection of fruits and vegetables you can find locally. And sauces, pastas, fresh meat and bread. If you are just looking for a few nice snacks you be be overwhelmed with your options. If you are looking to entertain small or large groups tap into their experience. They can offer you so many different and wonderful options. A Saturday stop off every week!

I love this store - it’s a total treasure trove. There is a huge selection of gourmet and interesting items that are hard to find anywhere else, and their fresh produce is delicious. For me, it’s a mix of the products they sell and the experience of shopping there - floor to ceiling of items, a bustling deli counter, stunning fresh baked goods, and wonderfully eccentric decor at the entrance and exit. It’s so fun!

I want to highlight that the prices are higher than the average grocery store, but that isn’t what Cheese Boutique is (to manage expectations - it’s worth it, though!).

The items are high quality with a great mix of international and Canadian products. The staff are fantastic and knowledgable so you can always find the right items.

Amazing selection of rare and delicious cheeses. Ordered a charcuterie board and it went beyond my expectations. Their in-house baguettes are absolutely delicious and I also love that they have heart shaped baguettes.

Just a few quirks: they mixed up Comte cheese sign with Brie - not a big deal I just thought perhaps someone who might not be so familiar with cheeses would present as displayed. I also specifically asked for French Brie De Meaux but was given Ontario/Quebec Bel Haven - a little disappointing as we were really looking forward to an authentic French experience!
