Cheese Garden Japanese Cheesecake (Midland)

Be careful to do not eat too much! ^o^
It’s just as tasty as the Uncle Tetsu’s cheesecake, though you can buy without waiting nor lining up usually.

I ordered two cheese cake yesterday, the container smell badly，very strong smell. I am sure the smell is come from the container, I have use water to wash and it still smell strongly and badly. It smell like paint fumes or I don’t know, like the smell of a new decorative house.

Best Japanese cheesecakes, I'd say better than Uncle Tetsu's! 4 stars because their other pastries are alright but not my favourite

Their original Japanese cheesecake was fluffy and soft! Other cheesecake selections available.

The Matcha Tiramisu is ok… not really a fan of it. On the other hand Yaki Pudding Cheesecake was delicious! I loved the flavour and texture. Just perfect combo!

Went there on a snowstorm day and want to get their milk tea cheesecake. The girl told me is sold out, but I checked online is still able yo pre-order and pick up same day (the same day i come). If can pre- order online and available to pick up same day. Why told me sold out? You guys did not mentioned pre-order only!

j’aimerais bien des cadeaux japonais parce qu’ils sont plus légers. Et je suis très épris du tiramisu matcha! Le goût de matcha est léger mais visible. La crème au couche top est soyeux et tendre.

I ordered from this Japanese Cheese Garden through uber eats. The packaging looked like it was beautiful origami, and the actual dessert was a perfect sweet tasty treat. I ordered 3 different flavoured cheese-cakes to taste-test them. And Al-though it very small in portion, it was worth every dollar!

i don't care what y'all say but this is waaay better than uncle tetsu, that's a bold statement and I'll stand beside it.

I originally walked in for the matcha cheesecake but they were sold out, but I opted for the original double fromage cheesecake and man, even that itself was light, fluffy, deep flavors, with ricotta cheese that's been used! I shared this with my chef from from Montreal & even he was impressed!

They suggest how to eat the cake and it's better eaten cold, just something to keep in mind.

PROS
• cheesecakes are definitely on the sweeter side, if you're not a sweet tooth kind of person than I can see why you wouldn't like it
• super, light, fluffly texture, will not disappoint
• the cheese they use is amazing, you can literally taste them!
• parking available on both main & residential streets
• cakes are on the pricier side of the $ but now I see why

CONS
• always sold out of matcha cheesecakes so make sure you order ahead of time

Their cheesecakes and tarts are so tasty and cute that I keep coming back for their seasonal specials. They have very friendly service as well.

I've never had matcha tiramisu and have always wanted to try it. Cheese garden took my first! When I think of tiramisu I think of the traditional Italian coffee one so I was curious what a match tiramisu would be like. Turns out there's no coffee flavour but there's just layers of matcha cream or cheese with a lady finger/sponge cake inside! It comes in a cute cup with a lid and a mini tub of matcha powder for you to sprinkle on top. You are welcomed with a layer of white cream when you open the lid and it is sooooooooo flawlessly smooth, I felt bad I had to ruin it.

The matcha double cheesecake tastes so good. Hopefully they will have more varieties in the future.

I enjoyed Cheese Garden's sakura themed drinks (that I think are only available for spring). The drink on the left is the sakura cider and the right drink is a ice blended sakura leaf tea. Both drinks are refreshing! Drinks in my photo are large size.

Freshly baked creamy and fluffy Japanese Cheescake in a nice presentation packaging and bag. I keep coming back for more.

I used to go to their store ALL the time when I worked in Toronto, but ever since the pandemic has started I havent been able to go as I live in Brampton and have been working from home. So when my sister and I saw that we were near one of their locations a few days, we said "Lets go! " It was only an hour before their closing time, so we were a tad bit worried that we might not everything we wanted. But fortunately they had everything! We got the Yaki Pudding in original and chocolate flavours and their Shiroi Valentines day mini tart. Everything was fresh and delicious.

I like how they packed the cheesecake. Also, not too sweet. I also tried ice blended pineapple yogurt. It's sweet and sour. And my bf really likes the new rose jelly fresh milk

All the cakes are very delicious and the appearance is very attractive. However there is one thing that I won't give it a five star. I had called them three times the other day to make sure they were opening, but there wasn't anyone to answer and the voice mail was full. I had told them about my concern, but they didn't think and realize you this was a problem

I got a very disappointing experience yesterday I go down to my condo lobby to pick up my delivery order from cheese garden unfortunately i found my order is on the FLOOR Even though there was a paper bag with it but I don’t think this is the best option to put the food on the FLOOR during COVID-19 time And the manager “ken” said due to the COVID virus of the contactless delivery normally the staff suppose to put it on the GROUND instead of the table or front desk — 在萬錦市

This limited edition Sakura Spring Collection set is perfect for teatime! Look at those strawberry and matcha cheesecake layers! It's very soft and not sweet at all. The chocolate and matcha in the cheese tart tasted very rich. Love that it also comes with a coupon for a free cake that can be redeemed on your birthday week.

Had a slight issue with the products. Jacob helped me solved the issue, really appreciate his help. Nice customer service.

What I really love and miss is their “Sakura Cider” which they rolled out only during summer. Wish they roll back again:)

This place is quite pricy, but the dessert and drinks get us coming back every time.wish there were more drinks on the menu though

Don’t place an order online and pickup in the store. You still need to line up after 15 people in order to pick up your order within the time frame. The person who answered the phone even told us to wait for another text message.

I love their new products- pudding cheesecake. It comes in 4 flavours: chocolate, coffee, matcha and original. The staff was friendly and explained the steps.

Having Japanese cheesecake with some pretty big competitors is tough. Can tell they’re trying with some of the unique flavours they have. The original cheesecake is good, with a nice amount of sponginess, but it seemed like something was lacking that I can’t it’s put my finger on. Also had the match double fromage. The flavours description sounds really nice, but if you don’t thaw it out enough, it’ll taste like an ice cream cake. Had it after completely thawed out and still the same to me only with the softness of the cheesecake part. Presentation was great and makes you want more, but it seemed kind of pricey for what you get. Glad I tried it out and experienced the place, but maybe my expectations were a little high for them.

Matcha Double Fromage (Recommended, esp if you like traditional North American Cheesecake) - Quite a few people recommended this cheesecake to me, but not a huge fan of cheesecake so I never really felt the urge to try it, esp since they don't sell single servings. Cheese Garden was doing a special promo and I just couldn't pass up on the deal so picked one up for my family. The Matcha Double Fromage has a layer of frozen Mascarpone cream cheese on the top, baked matcha cream cheese in the middle, and a matcha sponge cake bottom and crumb coating. The cake is super decadent, smooth and creamy I really liked how well balanced the cheese and matcha flavours were; neither flavour outshined the other and complemented each other perfectly. My parents LOVED this cheesecake and haven't stopped raving about it since! ⁣

No seating (at least when I was there; the chairs stacked) so grab to go. The double fromage is expensive, but I think it can feed approx. 6 people because you don't need a large slice to be satisfied - it's so decadent and creamy.

Came here on a Sunday evening, during their birthday weekend event. All the cakes were sold out.but the employee there gave out coupons that we can still use for their cakes. The 2nd time I went here was with a friend and we got to taste their Matcha latte and cheesecake. Both tasted amazing! The cashier there was very accommodating with our requests (I.e when I asked if I could add honey to my drink, she let me do so without charge). The cafe had some cute decorations around too, plus a showcase box of the cakes they sold, as well as new upcoming products. The prices are somewhat expensive, but worth the quality of the food and drinks they have. I'll definitely be visiting this Cheese Garden location again!

Ordered on Uber eats, having worked with Uber eats - there is the choice of accepting orders when it pops up and that's when you make sure the item is available to be sold. It's a very simple and quick step if youre on the food delivery systems. They confirmed my order and after waiting long enough for the order to arrive (according to the ETA), the staff here called saying the item isn't available. They don't have it. And that I have to cancel the order and deal with it on my end. How unprofessional, I'm unable to cancel it after they have already confirmed it as well. The order was then put thru as delivered. So I didn't receive anything from here and I'm forced to deal with customer service. I have not ordered here before and wanted to try it with family. Thanks for nothing.

It is their 3rd anniversary and it was absolutely crazy since I waited in line for more than 30 minutes with the line barely moving. I saw the cashier basically taking order very slowly while a lot of customers who paid came back to pick up the cakes. I don't know if it is a good business practice to celebrate their birthday this way, but I guess it is a good thing whenever there is a huge line up. I just kind of feel bad for the employees since they have to work hard to keep up during this mayhem. They are sold out of everything except for Japanese cheesecake and the wait after paying is another 40 minutes. Lol!

Super busy so come in early. Like when they open.

Very beautiful collection of cakes and drinks. Very limited too so definitely try out all that you want since it may take a while for the next time you come in.

Wish they had could be a little faster or have more trained staff.

Tried the cheese tart, it's the best I've tried. Will definitely go back for the cheese cakes. But it's pricey!
