Cherry Blossom Sushi Bar

I love cherry Blossom I been coming in this place since 2016 such a great place to dine in all staff are nice and friendly, foods are excellent.

Food was poor quality. General Tao chicken was soggy. Sushi was just okay. Ramen had a few pieces of flavorless chicken and a couple pieces of broccoli. Disappointing.

This is my first time here and I was very impressed with the fast and great hospitality by the team. Definitely would recommend and will be back.

The food is fresh and delicious. The service is very attentive. The environment is nice and worth the price.

Overall a great spot for sushi in Guelph. Interior is spacious and menu is great with lots of options, definitely recommend. 10/10

This hidden gem was a score for us yesterday after a long hike we came across this place and were curious if they had all you can eat.

I would suggest putting a sign out for curious birds like we were.

We are both huge on sushi bars and this menu was exceptional to say the least, so much variety and you really couldn't try everything because of the endless selection.

What we tried we fantastic about 8 or 9 dishes I've never seen at another sushi place.

Only downside was the price, I thought since its lunch time it would be about 25 or 30 per person, but the server said there's only 1 price and its 44 per.

Other than that it was a fantastic meal and excellent service.

I usually don't leave reviews but this was a pretty bad experience. After your first order, it feels like the waiters just want you to leave so you don't get too much value out of all you can eat.
I'm sure this is a management critique and the waitstaff are just trained to do this but we're paying $50+ each just to sit down, stop asking if we're ordering more.
They do have last call an hour before close and they enforced this but multiple tables were seated after last call.

The food itself was just fine, Hanami is definitely better. The rolls were alright but the sauces (for on some rolls, fried meat) were not very good. I thought this place was meant to be the premium sushi bar so I expected more.

The atmosphere plus the foot together was amazing, I’m definitely bringing my family next time I come 10/10 would recommend to anyone who’s thinking of coming here:)

Food is quite disgusting, staff service and attitude is beyond rude.

20 of us went out to celebrate a birthday, and we ordered a lot of food, but at one end of the table where I was sitting with my wife and kids, we didn’t get our food because the rest of the table still had food in front of them. That was the excuse the waitress kept telling us…. We kept waiting, and we got a small plate here and there (maybe 10% of what we ordered) but never received our order even after talking to multiple waiters. I’ll be honest, the food is really good, which is why the whole thing is more upsetting, just getting a bit of taste but nothing else. We left angry and hungry, and still paid $280.00 for 2 adults and 3 kids! This place can’t handle more than a table of 5 people at a time. Very disappointed! We’re never going back here.

Loved it! Did a lunch date with my wife as we had been craving sushi for so long! I called before going in and the hostess let us know that only the "All You Can Eat- Dinner Menu" that was being served, which was not an issue. She also reminded us prior to seating us. All of the tables were spread at least 6 feet apart with all staff wearing masks. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend if you're craving sushi!

Impressive decor, great food, and a comfortable environment. They have a little robot that brings food to the front of the store for takeout and he's very entertaining to watch. Just be careful not get in his way cause he is a bit of a rude boy.

Only issue with this restaurant is that it's very expensive for AYCE dinner, even more than the average high quality sushi place.

We were denied entry at 8.30pm claiming the restaurant was already closed for dine in. When the OPEN sign was clearly on. The person was really rude, aggressive and lacking any respect to a family of 4 (with 2 small kids).

I can't speak for the food, but I doubt we will ever try it, if that is the kind of "welcome" you get at the front door

Amazing all you can eat! The crab Maki was absolutely delicious! Well priced and wonderful staff. If you're craving good sushi and you're in the area come check it out!

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by very friendly staff. The set up of the restaurant was reminiscent of a modern Japanese restaurant. The sushi itself is amazing as the portion sizes are relatively large and an abundance of soy sauce and wasabi is provided. The only downside is that it is not very economical; but otherwise it is an amazing place for sushi lovers.

Good place if you are looking for average sushi, and all you can eat. If you know sushi, you know it's all about the rice. The rice unfortunately on maki sushi is crushed and not individual separate grains. But hey, a legit sushi chef will spend months just honing their skills on preparing the rice. But again, if you are looking for ok sushi, and a lot of it, this is a good place for that.

Very very expensive. We got there a few minutes early and were put in the corner with a bunch of boxes. The shrimp in the udon soup was raw. Not impressed at all.

Horrible service.the waiter was standing over my shoulder the entire time.kept taking plates as soon as we lifted the food off of them, does not talk but was always right there.not to mention the robot ran me over, completely smoked me on my way out.also was $40 per person for about $10 of food.

A very spacious and beautiful restaurant, the all you can eat menu is pretty vast although a little bit on the expensive side. Around 45 dollars per person after tax for an assortment of sushi, sashimi and other korean/japanese and even some chinese dishes! Loved their chicken katsu and spicy tuna roll, the server was kind enough to give us a match green tea on the house! Very hospitable and very good food. Again, just a lil pricey compared to the competition.

They charge 35.99 plus a 15% service charge? Never heard of that before? Didn't make it past the front door

Poor service, and management. First of all the pricing is extremely expensive $35 per person for lunch plus 15% service fee for a bad service (NOO Thank you!) I could see the manager cleaning all tables with the same gloves, same towel and touching clean napkins and helping customers (yuck!). If this is going on in front of your eyes imagine what is happening where the food is being prepared. Food is also not great. Ordered some handrolls and was extremely soggy and old tasting! If they accidentally bring something you didn't order, they take it back and give it to the next customer. I will never visit this terrible restaurant again and would not advise anyone to go!

Be careful of the post covid pricing. Went for lunch, was advised it s as the dinner menu, but no mention of price - had a small lunch only to find the bill was $40 per person! Food was good though.

The rice is not fresh at all. They say they make it in the morning but it tastes old like it was stored from last night. Everything was cold and bland. The customer service is terrible and they don't care at all about their customers.

Terrible honestly worst service I've ever had their, the food was lack luster and they are forcing people to pay dinner rates during lunch if you don't make a reservation I had no way of knowing that and they were completely empty at lunch if I could give a negative score I would this place is over priced and lacks the welcoming vibe it had when it opened

We found the food was okay. You dont get alot for the price. It was just "alright". Tasted bland which was disapointing. The pudding/jello was really good tho.

Great spot to get sushi with a really nice atmosphere and great food. Nice employees and consistently clean in the restaurant.

Great 'all you care to eat' Japanese restaurant.iPad ordering with good descriptions of the dishes. Many options to choose from and small portions so you are able to try many things without waste. We will be back!

Ordered by delivery. Smallest portions I've ever seen from a sushi restaurant. Not well made. Green Dragon was tasteless. Free Chips! Not welcomed since it came in Styrofoam.

The food was good and service fast. COVID protocols are being strictly enforced for safety of customers and staff. Dining in is well-spaced and must be reserved un advance.

My family moved to Waterloo last month and we were missing Cherry Blossom all the time. We bought Lemon tray and some other appetizers tonight; the quality and quantity same as usual. I am hoping we could back for eating in the restaurant once they are re-open for all you can eat option.

I always order sushi from Cherry Blossom and fall in love with some special rolls such as Guelph Roll and Black Dragon Roll. Thank you for you guys to offer us palatable food in the tough period.good

The sushi is good, also the rolls, better than I thought. Great taste. Just makesure you did not put it in to the fridge. Better than most sushi I eat in this area.

Ordered on box and the spider roll. Found it to be average. Not bad but nothing great either very average. May have been an off day. Based on reviews wll ry and and post an update.

I ordered take out on Super bowl Sunday. The veggie tempura, shrimp tempura and sesame balls were soggy we grossly undercooked and entirely soaked in what tasted and smelled strongly of old fryer grease. It was absolutely awful and inedible. What's worse is that when I tried to get in touch with them twice to let them know, they could not even be bothered to reply

Have been to this place a couple times and it was really good. We had takeout last night and while everything was fresh, everything was bland. There was no taste to anything.
