If I could literally give this -5 stars I would.
I walked in with a small child and showed the woman a picture of what I was looking for and she pointed to a back wall of where I could find it and then went back to doing whatever she was doing as if I was an inconvenient and had to interrupt her to show her a second picture of the model of a chainsaw and asked what oil I needed and I got told it's over there on the wall. Well thank you for nothing and I will be buying what I need elsewhere, absolutely anywhere else from now on.
Worst possible customer service you could ever receive. It would probably be okay if I didn't ask questions, knew exactly what I needed all that she needed to help me with was accepting payment

Staff (Mark) was very pleasant to deal with. They were quick in putting together my purchase of a 2023 KTM 390 Adventure. The price was highly competitive and a great deal. Left me with the impression that Chesterman is a great family business that cares about their customers.

Will not deal with them again as their service Dept did not communicate - went ahead and repaired something for half the price of a new unit, and then it started I think twice after the repair, nope - never again.
Edit July 14 after Chesterman's reply: The owner has responded not knowing I dropped it off a week or so after the repairs and left my number saying either I get it fixed for free or keep it for parts as I was done (mechanics were not in to make the ultimatum to). So considering I never got a call until I left a review A YEAR later I stand by my review. As for the fact it was an older unit and not bought from them there is no dispute - hence the original conversation about half the price of new before they began repairs. I do not see a reason to have further direct communication or spend any more time on this matter.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Clean showroom with lots of selection. Picked up a Cub Cadet zt2 lawn mower, and went back 2 weeks later to pick up my new RZR. Very happy customer here! Will definitely be back!

Lots of good equipment Cub Cadet equipment their latest one I highly recommend looking at and their special riding lawn mowers with the prefab Decks that are extra heavy duty instead of just your regular lawn mower deck, I have to admit Cub Cadet has come a long ways and is definitely worth looking at, chesterman's has been in business for many many years and has served thousands of customers over those years.

Great place with very knowledgeable staff. I bought a new lawnmower and line trimmer - decided against a box store and I'm glad I did. They took the time to go over the machines with me and show me how to use them. Very impressed with the customer service and experience.

Have to say my experiance there was AMAZING Dave was great at going thru everything with me on my new outlaw kart showing me everythign that need to be done during assembly, was very polite and nice and answered any of my questions, defianlty reccomend them for any of your needs and look forward to doing more business with them in the near future the store also is very tidy and everythign is easy to find, thanks again Dave for all your help (RYAN)

The guys were great everyone was so friendly and they had the trailer that I needed in stock and I was able to pick it up the next day

I recently purchased a 2022 ktm 250 sx
From Chestermans, the customer service is amazing.
Mark was the sales man that helped me decide on which bike to purchase.
He was very knowledgeable with everything.
Didn’t try to up sell me at all. In fact saved me money.

I strongly suggest using them for your new ktm or Polaris atv/sxs/ snowmobile purchases.
It’s hard to find a good dealer that cares like they do.

Extremely Rude Service Department, brought my ATV for a couple concerns warranty related. The service manager called to tell me parts were not covered under warranty I questioned why when I was told they were he said because they are a wear item I asked if they could submit to Polaris and see as I’m being told other he then responded with you have an hour labour to pay for us looking at your atv in which my response was why was I not made aware of this I’m bringing it in for warranty concerns and you didn’t fix anything he then followed that by saying your quad will be outside come pick it up and I never want to see it back here again. I informed them I would not be able to make it before closing to pick up my atv and he hung up on me. 15 minutes later I phoned back and advised someone will be there to pick up my atv and he responded with “ I’ve sent pictures of your atv to Polaris so you won’t be getting warranty again because I did a rad relocate “ absolutely unbelievably horrible customer service! I do not know how this dealership has any business aside from every time I called and asked questions they seemed helpful and wanted my quad there and reassured me they would take care of it so I did not have to drive 1.5 hours to my purchasing dealer. Never again and will never recommend this dealer to anyone!

Hey everyone. Glad to see a local dealer make up stories and lie.
The Polaris in question had no leaks what so ever and to them a Polaris with 712KM is a well used machine. Glad i dont own a machine that is well used with only 712KM

I have dealt with this business numerous times, spending hundreds of dollars on parts for my machine, they were extremely rude and acted as if I was bothering them by asking simple questions about parts. But they do have a few nice guys within the business. I was left with such a bad experience, that I now drive 40 minutes to cainsville to get my new Polaris and old Polaris serviced.

Great service! They went out if their way to help me with parts for my mover! Would deffinately go back to buy my next mover from them! Thanks very much!

They were helpful took my sportsman 1000 right of the trailer and straight into the bay gave me an answer for my issues and back on the trailer home no waiting done

Guy behind the desk was rude and dismissive. Couldn't even look up from his computer to answer my questions or give me any information. Very disappointed! Will not be back.

I had a very positive experience at this dealership.

They offered to order me parts for my machine, and they called me when they came into the shop.

I was able to pick up the parts without issue. The parts fit my machine and were very well packaged.

I appreciate the speedy service and excellent communication by the staff at Chestermans Polaris. I look forward to my next visit to the facility.

Great dealership to deal with. Actually returns emails and calls. Squeezed me in during the busy summer months to repair my machine. Fast turn around and what I liked is they kept all the old parts to show me.

The service from chestermans ws great. They really care and try and help you as quick as possable to help with down time.
A great place

This is a type of place that ruins the name for brands they carry.

I purchased a Cub Cadet mower from Chestermans ($7,000 machine) they insisted it was commercial grade. One spring I was very busy with farm preparations and I called them to pick up my mower for service and check up, I paid about $350 and they told me and wrote on the invoice that my 60" deck got new blades installed. But after cutting the lawn couple of times I felt like they aren't cutting as well as new blades should, I removed them only to find old blades still on, I took them to get them sharpened to local small engines service, I showed them the invoice and the blades and all they said was "yep sounds like Chestermans service".

Following year (June) a bracket broke on the deck (stay away from Cub Cadet)

So I called them and ordered the bracket, after about 3 weeks and paying someone else to cut our 4 acres of lawn I took the broken bracket to local weld/machine shop and they fixed it and strengthened it.

They called me in September and told me my bracket came in, I said I don't need it, I got it fixed back in June. Guy on the phone got upset and caught an attitude with me that now they are stuck with inventory.

Seriously! You guys thought I was not going to use my tractor between June and September waiting for you guys to call me about my part?

I get nauseous driving past this place, let alone walking in and dealing with them.
I sold the mower since, as I sank tons of money into repairs and the machine only had 700 hours on it. But even more frustrating than cost of repairs was down time when I needed lawn cut, and trying to call someone to cut it for me.

Easy among worst service and customer care i have ever experienced anywhere.

Do your research guys, save yourselves a headache later on, any dealership will be nice to you to get your business and make the sale, but what counts is how they treat you afterwards.

Side Note: Whoever is answering the reviews for Chestermans is reflecting perfectly the attitude towards customers. Also.some of you did not use your real name when leaving review likely for privacy reasons, but the staff member answering the review knew who you were and replied using your name clearly to underline who you are. This is a violation of privacy act and you can ask them to remove your name and or sue them, this is so basic but yet they can't even get that right. (They want ability to rate customers lol, really? Very vengeful and hateful attitude, but one that really portrays this entire business).

It probably wouldn't hurt to report them to Better Business Bureau for what it's worth.

Great Service from all of the staff.
Friendly, courteous, very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell and service.
They make servicing an older machine easy, as they can tell you all the little parts you will require.
Great inventory of on hand parts as well as an excellent supply system allowing quick order of needed parts.
Check them out for your
Polaris, KTM, Club Cadet, and Sthil needs.

I bought a $400.00 CDI from these guys for my 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO because i was told hey, they might be obsolete, but we have one on our shelf! Great, i picked it up.well low and behold i get home only to find that the CDI is faulty! Yes, i have done my homework and yes, i have tested the wiring.

I called in and explained the situation to their staff, their response "sorry sir, once you walked out the door with it, it was yours. "

If I can give any future customer a piece of advice, do not trust Chesterman Power Products with electronics! You may find yourself out $400.00 just like i am now.

RECKLESS, DANGEROUS, CHEAP, STAY AWAY.
Bought a bike from them, came safetied, owner said it'll need a new rear tire and brake light switch (I went in to look at it, it did not) I paid extra to get it safetied, after I got it home, noticed the right fork leg was wet, and right brake caliper/hose was leaking.it has now formed a puddle of brake fluid underneath it. Good thing I trailered it instead of riding it home.

DONT TRUST THEM.

Their mechanic also forgot his expensive flashlight, which I mailed back to him, at no cost to them because Im a nice guy and all.

I have nothing but good things to say about Chesterman’s. My family and I were looking to get into a larger side by side. From the moment we walked through the doors we felt welcome, every question I had was answered, we were able to Sit in all the machines well our son jumped from sled to lawn tractor and back into the side by sides, the guys at the front were more then Patient with us, which is one of the reasons I ended up buying my Polaris ranger from them. I would also like to add that the Mechanics that worked on my machine were top notch and took the time to go over everything with me everyone there went above and beyond to help get me my new ranger, I would definitely highly recommend Chesterman’s

I was looking for a few pieces of equipment for my business I had a budget of $15,000. Chestermans was one of the few places that could supply me with everything in one stop. I told them what I needed and the guy kind of hummed and hawed and could not give me a solid numbers on stihl products. I asked if I purchased everything I needed here and payed cash if he could give me any sort of break on pricing. He said no, he wouldn't even move a dollar and MSRP is what he quoted me. Also the prices he quoted me on Stihl was way higher than Battlefield in Woodstock. I walked out with 15k in my pocket shaking my head, very poor salesmanship.
