I ordered chicken shawarma, it was the worst shawarma I have ever eaten in my entire life. Chicken was smelly, vegetables wasn’t fresh, taste of the sauce was very bad. One star is too much for this dish.

The food is absolutely amazing, most of the time we will drive out of the way to come here. Highly recommend!

One of our absolute fave shawarma spots in Newmarket/Aurora. First off, the food is very flavorful and portions are large. Second, they are the sweetest, most accommodating people. And lastly they make everything from scratch with simple ingredients! We have a ton of allergies and dietary restrictions when we order sometimes and this is one of the only take out places we can go to because we know absolutely every ingredient. They are amazing and regularly do orders for us for 10+ people. Love them!

I thought I’d give this another try since last visit was also a tad underwhelming. Unfortunately, I was let down again. The chicken shawarma was bland accompanied by brown lettuce and spoiled tomatoes. The establishment has a vast selection of food and I want to believe that the other menu items are more flavourful and fresh than the shawarma.

Lastly, the portions were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant with a satisfied appetite. It's rare to find such a balance between quality and quantity, but this Mediterranean gem managed it flawlessly.

In summary, this Mediterranean restaurant exceeded my expectations on all fronts. My visit to Chez was an absolute delight. With its diverse menu, great customer service, and cozy setting, it's a gem that I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I don’t normally do reviews but felt I had to do this to warn others. We had placed a party order for beef kebab. It turned out to have a rancid taste. Maybe it had something to do with the grill. We ended up apologizing to our guests.
We understand mistakes happen but when we reached out to the restaurant to discuss the problem, they refused to hear us out and they cut off the call.
Needless to say, we will not be ordering from this place again as we cannot rely on the quality of food for future orders.

Very friendly service, large portion sizes and a lot of variety, more than most places around York region! Food is great and prices are very reasonable!

High quality ingredients, tasty and very good price/portion. The shawarmas are seasoned and cooked perfectly, everything including all the sauces to the fresh toppings is made in house! Highly recommend!

The food is not that great and the hummus smelt old. Tried it twice and it’s not worth it.

I drive all the way from hw7 and woodbine at least once a week to visit this place because they have the best shawarma. Today My wife and I got the mixed shawarma plates on rice. Everything is always fresh and the portions are huge. I've never had shawarma as amazing as this place! It definitely stands out from other shawarma places from the kebobs to the shawarma to the salads. The taste has always been beyond satisfying every time we have been We have tried shawarma practically everywhere from Toronto, Aurora, Richmond Hill, Scarborough etc and Chez Talal is by far the best! Highly recommend!

Worst chiken shawarma that I've ever had. The place is very dirty and looks like a homeless person put the tables together. Christmas decorations on the wall from last year. Men's bathroom is a black stained toilet bowl, broken soap dispenser and faucet doesn't work properly. This place gives off really trashy vibes. The complete disregard for this establishment shows that the owner really don't care. I saw good reviews of this place and something is not adding up.

One of the tastiest shawarma places ever! Very nice and clean place, our families love it! The Christmas decorations they kept on one wall is really nice and makes us feel like home. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the portions are generous. We've been coming here for years and the food is always amazing and the employees are outstanding. It's amazing that they have drinks that you can't find anywhere else! Delicious food and great quality!

So freaking good and I am not a shawarma fan. We got the mixed shawarma meal 10/10 baklava 10/19 hummus 9/10 and Potato Harra absolutely amazingly delicious. Very nice and friendly staff.

This place is dirty and prices are not as advertised! On the menu it shows $6.99 for a chicken shawarma! I was charged $9.99! Ridiculous! It’s summer and the restaurant is so hot no air conditioning not even a fan! I wouldn’t recommend this place! And the shawarma was mediocre very boring

The Tastiest and the most fresh shawarma and kebob place I've ever tried. I've eaten shawarma for years and this is the BEST place! The employees are really nice and they have great prices for the large portion sizes

Oooh this place is amazing! Ordered the chicken kebob low carb dinner with garden salad and it was delightful My husband ordered a chicken kebab dinner which comes with rice, chicken kebob, sides of hummus baba ganouj & garlic paste, along with a complimentary pita and pop! (The dinners always comes with sides unless you ask for rice only). Discovered my new fav shawarma/kebab spot! EXCELLENT management as well

The food is fantastic and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality, especially considering how large their wraps are. I feel so healthy every time I eat here; the meat is great quality and the vegetables are always fresh. Well worth it!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could I've tried almost everything on the menu and it continually amazes me The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious, and the portions are huge

This shawarma place stands out because wide selection of limited edition drinks phenomenal, the plates come with a pita & pop, the customer service is amazing, the meat is consistently super high quality, and the menu is huge with many options to choose from

I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and today I got the chicken shawarma dinner and the chicken shawarma poutine and it was delicious with big portions! The food here is always fresh and tasty, and the garlic sauce is amazing! Great restaurant, nice staff, and amazing food

Ordered 2 wraps, 1 shawarma poutine and 2 drinks and it came to $45. The chicken was incredibly greasy, completely soaked through the wax paper and the poutine had a massive pool of oil in the corner of the styrofoam container. Got the runs within 20 minutes of eating it. The service was decent though.

The restaurant was also very hot inside which probably explains the lack of people dining in.
