Chiba Sushi

Consistently good sushi for the value. The preparation is quick and the staff are generally friendly.

Decent. $162 for two adults, two kids (14 and 16). Everything was decent. Not wow, not bad. Servers were great, all smiles.

No tablets, check sheet. No descriptions of items.

Lunch is $23.99 per person. A lot of rice to fish ratio when ordering sushi. Thought the place was too expensive for what we got. Service is good and quick.

Very good eatery, everyone friendly and servers paid attention to detail. Thanks. Will be back

I love good quality sushi but unfortunately this place isn’t were you find it.

They are super cheap on wasabi and ginger

Although I over ate (which I always do when having all you can eat sushi) today's experience left me feeling terrible and nauseous. The food, while all looking delicious as usual was not up to Chiba standard.the rolls were falling apart and the deep friend anything was over done and extremely greasy.it isn't usually like this. If that wasn't bad enough the oil they're using to deep fry is old and should have been replaced. I went 3 weeks ago with another friend and the oil had the same taste. Old, dirty oil. After 3 weeks you would expect it to have been changed but it hadn't. Needless to say I will not get deep fried anything here anymore.: (

My family and I have eaten here many times. The food always tastes great, it's served promptly, and staff are quick to give refills and take your order.

It's. Fine.

The food is ok. The service is fine. If they don't have something that's on the menu, you won't find out until you ask where it is and they'll go, "oh ya we don't have that anymore. "

And hearing the same 10 terrible Chinese pop songs over and over on the radio in a Japanese restaurant is a little unsettling.

The food is excellent and comes out in a timely manner. The decor leaves something to be desired but is exactly what you picture an older sushi restaurant to look like. It has dim lights which are a bonus for sensory needs.the staff are friendly but have a standoffish resting face when they are standing and waiting for a customer to need something. Just odd but not terrible. They're attentive with drink refills and new order cards

It's decent sushi. I enjoy it but it's not the best I've had. Pretty good for Woodstock though:) great service and a comfortable atmosphere.

A bit rough round the edges but the sushi wasnt bad. Interior of the place is a bit run down. I have had better but it was an OK experience. We had the dragon roll combo set. The all you can eat experience would have been pricey had that been the only option. Buy from the menu instead.

Ordered off the menu rather than choosing the all you can eat option.

We had the miso soup and edamame to start. The portions were good.

Then we ordered one of the party platters. There was enough variety for everyone and we had enough food.

Never disappointed with the food! Good service, very quick whenever I order takeout they always have it ready within 15 minutes! And it’s always delicious!

I used to frequent chiba alot, unfortunately the last few times I've been there has been a surprise in what I've ordered.and not a good one. Last time I was there I ordered crab meat Maki and I took a bit and felt something that definitely didn't feel like crab in my mouth. I pulled out this long grey squishy thing.turned my stomach. It'll be a while before I come here again.if ever. The good sushi is directly across the street

Probably our worst sushi experience ever. Stopped here with my family for dinner on a very long road trip across souther Ontario as we all love sushi! Just found it on maps and popped in, however this spot was NOT IT. The menu also isn’t the greatest below average options and zero description of what they are. It’s still pen and paper (no tablets) The sashimi we were served was still frozen in some parts, sauces were watered down and FLAVOUR WAS LACKING big time in almost everything. This place is over charging for what they serve and it’s shocking, we don’t even pay that much in Toronto at our regular spots! The service was awful too, they looked at us and our kids like we were an inconvenience meanwhile we were the ONLY people in the whole place and the restaurant didn’t close for hours. We tried to make the best of it and eat what we could but the way we were being treated made us so uncomfortable and want to leave asap. Not a single smile or warm greeting…food was just slapped on the table. Just save yourself and don’t come here.

Love this place - super friendly and tasty! I also love getting take out from these guys and the serving sizes are very very fair!

I've only ordered take out, and I've done so from Chiba for years. They have the best sushi. Portions are great. It's always fresh and there are so many options to choose from.

Wonderful place to go and eat at with friends. Staff are also very friendly and prompt to take orders or fill up water etc.

Only drawback I would have is it seems their portions are getting smaller, yet some other items change for the better like the Salmon Belly being larger now.

All in all great place. Been going to for a long time now and look forward to keep on going in the future.
