Chicago Joe's Thunder Bay

Located in the Victoria Inn on Arthur Street in Thunder Bay, Chicago Joes offer good Canadian fare in quality food and service. A quick visit with a friend for Chicken Caesar Salad and Salt & Pepper Wings with a Northern Heat sauce proved to be a delectable choice. The atmosphere is pubbish/sports bar with tables and/or booths, and televisions to view. The service was attentive, professional and also neighborly friendly with personality. I recommend Chicago Joe's as a great visit to dine and connect. 2 thumbs up

My step son is a teenager and was up late and the waitress assumed he was passed out and said no sleeping in the restaurant just because we're native. But other than that I food is great.

Wonderful service and great food but the place needs some updates. I had the chicken strips which were AMAZING and my husband had wings which he enjoyed. I think the place would do a lot more business with some fresh booths etc

Got here at 7: 50, ordered approx 10 mins later with one appetizer, had to ask where our order is.its it now 8: 37pm and still waiting, gentleman came out and apologized but they are cooking for people in restaurant and the hotel, restaurant is not full at all.was told by waitress 10 mins.we had to cancel appetizer, stiol didnt get thatso cancelled it, im restaurant right now and one more minute brings us to 10 minutes! Never again! Shameful! Appetizer never even came before the food!

Need to have a more sports theme specials, excitement as there for CFL game nobody there.

Some of Thunder Bay's best chicken wings and chicken strips. The amount of creative wing flavours are also really nice to see.

Was not aware it was inside a hotel, Hard to find. A little creepy looking over the pool. Decor could be updated a bit. The food was decent. Server was super sweet.

Best Wings in town. Best eaten fresh. The food is also quite good. Bar side is great for a getaway with the guy or a girls night. Highly recommend even for a date night. The booths are very private. Walk past the front desk, take a left. All the way to the pool entrance and take a right.

Food won't kill you & that's me being nice. Waitresses didn't check on us. Coffee & tea stayed empty. My hubby had to get up and go to the back to get them. Bunch of useless women. Should find other Waitresses since it seems like these ones don't want to work lol
Waste of money! Stay away!

Ordered nachos and after the first layer of cheese there was hardly any more. For $22 there should have been more.
We asked and received more but shouldn't have had to.
Good ingredients for toppings.

Service was great, that's the ONLY positive about this place. Everything we ordered looked and tasted like some generic boxed stuff. The fish tacos were NOT good. The chips and salsa were literally grocery store tortilla chips and Old el Paso salsa. My sons pasta sauce was Ragu from a jar. Disappointed more than anything. The menu sounded so good, and we were let down.
