Great place to come for a couple beers & pool. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time! Service is always on point

This place was great, mainly a a billiards first, restaurant second but the food was great, wings crispy and our server was always topping up drinks.

Had a lil Birthday partay there on the 23rd! The place was very accommodating of a crazy bunch of 30 somethings acting like we do! Haha but fr the food was excellent that came, the beers stayed full and the hosting was awesome

Great prices for basic pub grub food. Excellent service staff. Some loud patrons wre unpleasant to listen to but it's hard to control that.

Food was ok and prices reasonable. Nice atmosphere on a Friday. My only complaint is the wait for pool tables. We went on the wait list with 2 ahead of us as we ordered at 6: 30. We were next up for 30 mins and then left at 8: 30. Pool looked awesome and prices good so can't blame people for playing. Will definitely go earlier next time.

Chicago is really close to my house so I frequent it a lot. It's exactly what it looks like from the outside, a dive bar with a pool hall. BUT I want to call out that that's not a bad thing. If your looking for a beer after a long day it's a great place to go to.

Every time I've gone I've enjoyed the food at the price point. Their souvlaki is a sneaky sleeper hit. You wouldn't expect a place like this to have great Greek food, but it does - and the portions are extremely generous. I even had enough for my lunch the next day.

The parking is always available anytime I've gone. I'd say it's not really kid friendly, but I don't see a reason why you couldn't take your kids there.

The atmosphere of the place was fun overall with everyone playing billiards. I only give it 4/5 because the food seemed a bit greasy and didnt get a chance to try the wings (will update when i get to taste them)

It is a nice place and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We booked a table for 15 but a couple of friends dropped out but they were happy to accommodate also I asked them to reduce the number of pool tables and in spite of holding them for 1/2 an hour for us they didn’t charge for them and were generous enough to understand the change of needs. Also their bartender is very skilled and it’s one of the rare places where I actually liked how they mixed drinks. I ordered nachos, Onion rings and for drinks ordered LIT, moscow mule, rum and coke etc each of the drinks were mixed well and were really good.
Will definitely recommend it try.

It's.okay. One of few options for billiards in the area. No one will come seat you, you'll have to head to the bar. Don't expect more than Canadian or Coors Light types of beer. Prices are reasonable.

Me & my boyfriend have been here a few times, great food! Awesome drinks as well, & great atmosphere.

I came in with my boyfriend, and was shivering because I was cold coming in from outside. The manager said they wouldn’t serve us because I “look like I’ve taken something else”. Absolutely awful and insulting.

I have never written a review before but I have to now due to the excellent service we received last night from D! The wings were very good and so was the beer but the friendly service will keep us comin back, see you in June.

A great place to grab some drinks with a decent menu and a definite recruiting station for the strongest bar maidens in the K/W area. I have lost every arm wrestling match against these women.and I'm OK with that! Watch out for the "Loganator". Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.:)

We took our kids to go play pool! The kids loved it and we went early enough that it wasn't too busy.

Food can be hit-or-miss.
Music generally good.
Pool tables clean.
Service usually snappy.

Was looking for a good Hamburger place and was very disappointed, the patty was dry tasted and looked like cheap boxed burgers, a cheap sliced cheese slice couldn't even use real cheddar, the pickle was flavorless, the burger was overcooked and dry, for the money spent if I wanted to just fill my stomach I would have just gotten few McDonald's cheeseburgers, they have more flavour, I took to go, and went home put more mayo and flavors on it. I'll never get food from there ever. Obviously you really didn't read my post, I want better than mcds, and yours was really dry, and yes if from to they would be boxed and frozen.

Great billiards tables! Awesome if you're looking to hang out and play a little pool, or grab a bite and drink with friends.

It seemed like they had forgotten we had made reservations. I also had to hunt down my server 3 times. Service was slow, we had to wait 20 mins for drinks, and half hour for the menu after that. Food was good though, prices were good and it was clean

Food is delicious, staff are friendly and the pool tables are great. The place is also very clean! Definitely prepare to play for a few hours to get your moneys worth though.

This was our go to place.but not anymore! The food has gone down hill there was a time that you could always order the same roast beef or steak sandwich and it was always the same great taste and flavor but sine the new owner has taken over the quality of the food is not the same. The roast beef is very dry and tasteless and the steak sandwich is fatty and greasy. Too bad won't be back.

Really great spot to grab a pint after our hockey game. Ordered 2 beers which came fill-up in ice cold glasses and a plate of fries. All was absolutely awesome! This will be our weekly spot going forward.

Went for the first time when restrictions opened up-had a great night out with friends for the first time in 3 years! Love the amount of tables available

We have been frequenting Chicago's over the past few years.

I have not eaten anything at this restaurant that I did not like. Their souvlaki and gyros are delicisious.

Laura the server, we have had every single time we have been there has been excellent. She always has a smile for us even when she is super busy. She is attentive and makes sure we have everything we need, and more recently before we are even seated (by her), she has already poured and put our drinks at the table.

This is a wonderful place with reasonable prices, good food and great service!

I went to Chicago’s for the first time a few weeks ago. I was not disappointed! The staff were attentive, we never went with an empty glass. Our food was fresh and came within a decent time frame. They also have pool tables. I am not much of a pool player however, it was also an enjoyable experience! The staff was also super attentive even after we moved from our table over to the pool table area!

Overall, a great experience! It was a very friendly and welcoming environment.

I have since recommended it to my friends and I will certainly be returning:)

Have never had a bad experience with Chicago their food is great and is reasonabley priced, especially their family meals, you get so much food for the price. The food always tastes fresh and is well cooked. I highly recommend a visit!

Although the food was pretty tasty, the wait and service was subpar… We waited at the door for about 20 minutes, before a server/host finally said “one minute, i’ll be right with you”. The waiting didn’t end there, we waited about 30 minutes for our drinks to be served and then about an hour for our food. When we were paying our bills, the only thing our server said was “everyone has bad days”…

Highway robbery 15$ for a billiards table, per hour! They do not advertise or tell you that there is a fee for the table. Despicable service I feel in my opinion that by a bar that should only be charging for the balls to play, not per hour!

If there is a sign advertising the price for the pool tables, I feel it it would be in the establishments best interest to make the sign larger with clear visibility from the front entrance.

"Universal" price would indicate that every pool bar in any city or country operates the same way as Chicagos. Unfortunately you even say yourself in your response that you are not a coin operated pool hall. Which in turn confirms you are aware that there are different forms of operating a pool hall.

Yes well maintained pool hall, maintained to the bare minimum. There is way to many pool tables for such a small area, one awkwardly struggles to play a comfortable game when you have a full bar. As the space is too tight to have a full extension, as in many circumstances you have to wait for other players from a different table to move or manoeuvre into some weird position to avoid hitting the drinks.

I stick by my rating 1/5 I would happily serve you a -5/5 if I could; as your service is on par at best an the rude attitude that comes from the servers, if you have a simple inquiry about the methodology of bar management to get a better understanding of what you're paying for.

By no means is this establishment horrible or horrific, just don't expect anything unique or special from a place that will charge you $20+ for a pizza or $8.00 for a pint.

This is a pleasant 3 star establishment that becomes a 5 star when Laura is behind the bar. Good food, reasonable prices. If you want great service as well, ask for Laura.

They will overcharge you for anything an everything, prepare to have your wallet bleed out.

The bartender during the day is super. Always smiling and my drink is waiting for me when I get to my seat. Food is pretty good also.

Please try Mozzarella sticks and Dirty Shirley. I really liked the food and cocktails. Servers are helpful and friendly. Overall ambience is splendid!

As soon as we got there the host was rude when i was giving her my vaccination even tho it took her less than 2 seconds to check it out.the server was very rude when we asked for a menu and if we could order because apparently she asked 2 out of the 8 people with us if we wanted menus and they answered for themselves.most of us were very uncomfortable that we did not want to ask the server for anything even though we wanted food and drinks because we did not want to deal with her rude attitude.there were several occasions when I tried calling her to our table and she'd roll her eyes before walking over. The Billiard was fun but the waitress ruined most of our moods toning.

Great place to unwind and enjoy a few games of pool. The service was excellent and the nachos were yummy. We also ordered the lemonade and it was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone who wants to chill for a couple hours!

Place was great when billy and George ran it Any ways ordered food April 29th Uber eats as you see in picture I asked for more rice no fries. I got all fries no rice when it came talked to the owner she said next time I order she would hook me up I said cool. I call today to redo the order pay for one get my second free like she said. I explained to the lady on the phone what happened and that it was over a month ago she tells me I can’t just call now and want it taken care of all rude like I really want to spend another $61.00 for the fun of it. This place just lost my business based on he rudeness and I been there since day one showing support even under new ownership and my 50k Instagram local followers will know this place is gone to the dumps nothing but drinks hanging out at the bar staff that can’t listen unauthentic frozen food out of this kitchen go elsewhere for your food services

Probably the best wings in the region. Either location. Amazing meaty wings without the crazy price.

Great souvlaki platters. Chicken and pork was seasoned and juicy. Rice and fries hot and also seasoned to perfection. Salad was fresh with a perfect amount of dressing.

Also on a side not. This place is great for nfl sundays. They show every game that is broadcasted on cable. High definition.
They also have great prices on beers. 5 dollar domestics.

Good food accompanied by a great section of pool tables. Each table was adequately lighted and surrounded by various sport network TV's. Great atmosphere to spend evenings with friends.

I love chicago. Food is always good and best thing is the service. Your drinks are delivered to you as soon as possible and anything else aswell which they dont need to cook. I am sure you will always have a good time at this place.

This place is overpriced and the food is terrible. The owners hang out here and look like some sort of organized crime family. Heard if you know someone or ask nicely, you can gamble with them after hours. Place and owners are very shady. Stay away!

The appetizers all sounded so good that we just kept ordering different ones. Staff was friendly and efficient. I reccomend the quesadilla

Apparently after 830pm you can’t go eat out with your family and then get kicked out even though there was no intention of alcohol to be bought, you would think the servers would be able to keep track on who bought alcohol like every other restaurant/ bar.not going back, not recommending. Go spend your money literally any where else.

One of my favourite local spots to play pool, it's a bit farther from DTK but worth it. Tasty pub food, huge space for groups, and lots of fun on busy nights! I think they have tournaments too. Call ahead to check for pool table availability.

Great place to play some pool. Lots of tables both upstairs and downstairs. Tables are great and lots of straight cues. Basic bar food but tasty with just below average prices. Great background music too.

The waitress was extremely polite, patient and bubbly. She always came to check on us and the one things most waiters and waitresses do wrong is bring me water with ice when I specifically tell them not too. She got it right!

Great place to play pool. Haven't come here in a while but it's always a go to if you live in Kitchener and are farther away from downtown.

We had to go downstairs since the upstairs was full so there was no music downstairs and the vibe was more quiet but if that's what you like, it's worth it!

Always busy. Kitchener one is great to the Cambridge one is nice n very spacious too. Pool games seem never a disappoint to what I have seen.

Pub atmosphere with bar and billiards. Food and service both great Helpings are more that sufficient. Easy access from street. Free parking. Wait staff are extremely helpful. (Kat) Attended with a gentleman confined to a wheelchair, she was more than helpful assisting with him. Hats off to her and other staff. Meals again were excellent.

This is a great sports bar/pool hall. There's plenty of booth's for a nice sit down meal. The prices for beer and food beat out every other bar/restaurant, even Chuck's Roadhouse. Perfect first date spot or night out with the boys or girls or friends ofcourse. The food is good pub style food with a Greek flare. I recommend chucks for a cheaper restaurant experience.

Good food service was so proper and the girl that had our table had a personality that was fantastic and funny we played pool and watched a sports game on T. V our girlfriends where so happy that they met for the first time they where so happy especially the pub we had a lot of fun that where going again on Saturday hey order the gyros and that apetijery with cream cheese wow keep up the good work whoever Owen's it your doing a exalent job.

We had a great time there playing pool and having a few beers with them. My friends had the chicken tenders and it was hard to get them away from their food to take their shot. Must have been good.

It wasn't crowded tonight, and since I was on antibiotics, I just wanted to watch billiards, but the rude manager told me to come out, I said I wouldn't drink biley but I could pay if he wanted to, he was unsympathetic, and he shamed me in public!

The food is good.

This dirty local bar is horrible. This is the place where a man was allowed to drink till inebriated and that man crashed his car and died in the plaza. This business is only about making as much money as they can. They don't practice smart serve.

Bar service was decent, and pool tables were nice but had trouble getting drinks half the night once we mover to a table.

We went close to closing. The staff was super friendly, nice, and welcoming to us. We really enjoyed shooting some pool on Easter Sunday when no one else was open.

The service sucked waited an hour for food. Asked for a drink with the food never even got it. Food is also way overpriced for what you get.

Third time back to this place. Third time getting the gyro sandwich. Probably the best thing on the menu in my opinion. The fries here are really good. The Caesar salad is also good. Nachos are good. The Italian wedding soup is kind of meh. The beer selection is generic. I hoped for something with a little bit more pizzazz but if you're a craft beer fan you probably won't be happy. I had a draught Coors Banquet which was actually quite delicious. Nice place to watch a game and play some pool. Cool vibe, friendly. If you like horse racing there something in the basement for you. Outside of the smokers who are always in front of entrance it's a nice place.

Good place to relax and enjoy some beer and chicken wings. Can get busy and the service purely depends on who is working, but when they get it, it's good. Wings are huge and they don't skimp on sauces. If you're at the alpine plaza, this is much better than Boston pizza.

Service was super slow and food sucked after waiting so long for it to show up had to go up to the bar to get myself a refill tryed playing pool but every other shot we had to wait because the tables be side us were to close together.

I am new to Kitchener and I decided to come here. Best choice EVER! Ang is soooo friendly and accommodating. NTN, great beer selection and the wings are mouth watering! I call Chicago's Pub my home away from home because they made me feel so welcomed

Food was ok, but I asked twice to be moved to a different location as the light right above our table kept flickering. They turned it up instead, insisting that it would help. It didn't. They should really learn to listen to their customers. I'm just glad I'm not epileptic.
