Children's Arts Theatre School

My daughter has been with CATS for a few years. A couple of years ago she decided to try a new program elsewhere, but after one season away, she decided that CATS was where she wanted to be. She loves it! Thank you CATS

My daughter had a wonderful time at CATS. She got to explore different drama skills and stage experience. CATS made learning fun! All the teachers were kind and made everything a wonderful experience!

My daughter had a great experience at the williowdale location. The kids did a great job performing Matilda the musical!

My kids have been attending CATS for over 10 years. My oldest started at age 4 and now is attending the CIT session, my youngest started right after the pandemic at age 6 and loves each session.

Our daughter was in the program for the second and third term this year and she loved every single bit of it. We are coming back next year!

Thank you! My children enjoyed practicing with you. Every Saturday they would be eager to get going and the performance at the end was amazing.

My daughter has been with CATS for a couple years now - both camps and in-year programs. The productions are very well thought out and produced, and the staff are very helpful and hands on. Would recommend to anyone!

We were disappointed with how they responded to the Covid crisis. This is the only camp we registered for that did not offer a refund.their position is that the did offer a refund less an administrative fee in April 'if you chose to cancel' but that was before anyone knew the extent of the crisis. Now this camp is holding the funds we paid hostage 'to be used at a future date' but given the camp we were interested in runs only the 1st 2 weeks of the summer we are not even sure if it will work with our schedule next year. We understand that businesses have been impacted by covid but I should mention that this camp is run at a church and they did not pay their counsellors for this specific camp during the pandemic to my knowledge so in my opinion this is a business that is taking advantage of this situation and holding money from families that could really use if for something else. So disappointing to see.

This is the e-mail response received:
"We had provided every family with the option to receive and refund by April 31st at midnight, and provided enough notifications and updates to all families and to our website of this date, along with providing everyone with the refund policy due to the outstanding circumstances of pandemic of covid-19. We, along side many other companies offered a refund by a certain date, along with provided information of credits to be used towards future programs.
Unfortunately if any family did not request a refund by our stated date, the outcome was credit only with no expiration date. "

Comments with 1 stars below about their unprofessional response to Covid-19 situation is all TRUTH. They manipulated the uncertain situation for their advantage by giving hopes to parents on the chances of summer camp happening in July. The deadline they mentioned as mid-April was almost 3 months before the start of their camp. You should have seen their email communications. It was 100% manipulative. Whereas many camps either got underway towards late June or gave us back full refund, this is the only camp, which refused to do so.
A month ago, I informed them about our family's move to Burlington, 60kms out of Toronto. They told me they are on the verge of opening a school in Burlington. This statement to me has a very low credibility as, I have read this evening that they are opening 2021 summer camp, yes you have read it correct, 2021 summer camp in mid-October 2020, in the middle of the 2nd wave! Their subject for the email is stating 'Spots are filling up quick! Hurry! Do NOT buy that. What is only filling up is their wallets and pockets. You pay and you get back nothing.
Sorry Gina Anki, but your arts school gives the impression of a scam. I am going to Better Business Bureau unless I receive a full refund in a weeks time.
