Child’s Nest 123 Early Years Learning & Child Care Centre

It’s been half a year since I put my child in this daycare and the experience has been nothing but great. Both the management and caregivers are amazing people and take good care of children. Highly recommended!

My 3 children have attended Childs Nest daycare, and we have had nothing but good experiences with the center across all of the rooms they have cycled through: infant, toddler, and preschool. There is very little turnover of staff, who are all lovely (which would seem to indicate they feel well treated and valued by the center which is non-profit). In fact when my older kids come pick up their younger siblings today they still love to go greet their former teachers and caregivers. Lunch and snacks are made in house by the wonderful Effie. Parents get occasional updates about their child's activities through the storypark app.

Our 28 month old has been in the Toddler Room for nearly a year and the wonderful games, sensory activities, imaginative play and crafts they get up to keeps her busy and fulfilled throughout the day. She loves her teachers Patricia and Jennifer who are warm and nurturing, and talks about her friends from class every day when we get home. Before joining Child's Nest, she attended a different daycare where she was constantly unsettled, terrified to be left at, and always seemed sad and alone when we picked her up. Her teachers lacked warmth and kindness. It felt like I was failing her. Very soon after joining her new room at Child's Nest she was engaged, happy, the crying at drop offs finally ended! I receive heartwarming updates about her day-to-day activities via their app. I love that there's a plan for how they structure their days, and how her teachers try to lean into her interests and other developmental milestones she demonstrates. She is fed wholesome, homemade food cooked by a wonderful woman named Efie whom my daughter is besotted with. Alice, the centre manager, is approachable and easy to talk to and accommodated - and continues to accommodate - all my questions and concerns with ease and friendliness.

I'm truly happy with her care and that we've found a home at Child's Nest for her.
