Kerala cuisine. Loved their beef fry. Wouldn't recommend the kerala paratha. It was too rigid. The curries are good. Not too oily and spicy. They can go wrong with their order. Had ordered for mango Curry (take away) we got mixed veg Curry instead.

I visited this place on the day of ONAM after calling them and enquiring about the availability of chicken biriyani. I went there with my friends and up on arrival they told us that it wasn’t available. They suggested us to try out chattichoru and we ordered 3 chattichoru while one of my friends went with appam and beef curry. To our surprise all the curries except for sambar and omlette were stale and inedible, the taste was pathetic and I stopped eating after eating 2 handfuls. When we asked about the freshness of the food they tried to compensate with items which were straight from the fridge and too cold to consume. At first they denied at told us that everything was fresh but however they accepted the fact that everything was cooked 2 days prior and the beef served with appam was the same as the one with chattichoru. Pathetic pathetic food and service. Every single one of us was down with food poison thanks to the stale food they served us. If you are reading this avoid visiting this restaurant at all costs. It is better to starve than die.

So, We waited for an hour for meals to arrive. That for me was a real bummer. I reached the restaurant quite hungry and having to wait for so long for 2 meals was a bad experience.

The thalis came with watery sambar, curd, Kappa and cabbage thoran.

Stellar items - Beef fry was the star. Was cooked to perfection and was really tasty 4.5/5

Fish fry was the close second. I wished they had marinated it just a little more. But 3.5/5

Meals was ok. They served Kerala rice which was also something enjoyed rather than basmati rice.

Spoke to the owner briefly who said that the delay because everything is prepared fresh to order. Which is nice but like I said, the wait killed me.

I would definitely go back to this place but would order ahead so that I don't have to wait so much.

I don't recommend for this place after negative experience. I ordered biriyani over phone and confirmed the pickup time. But when I went on said time it was not ready. Also when I was paying I was shocked the price of biriyani is not matched with the price on Google site. When I asked then service person without even apologizing he was rushing to make my payment. Same price and better quality was available near my place but thought to try something better and best price. Poor service.

I loved their porotta, it's really worth trying, Also, try mango fish curry, a must try

The food at chimney fresh was so fresh & delicious. The veg mango curry and Appam was out of the world. Worth the wait for good quality fresh Keralite food

Best Kerala food I've had outside of Kerala. Uncle George puts a lot of care into his craft. The Tawa Pomfret was the highlight for me.

Food was good, with some exceptions. Thalis were loaded with rice, and some bread item such as parotta or appam should be added to the thali. Additionally the service was really substandard, the waiter kept delaying our requests.we were a table of 9 and got to the restaurant at 1pm but left at 4: 30pm. Most of the time was spent waiting!

Friendly service and really good dosas! Also were able to accommodate some dietary restrictions. Got full by dinner time for a reason.

Enjoyed my dinner here. Very delicious and freshly prepared food. Finger licking prawn tawa dish. The owner and staff are very friendly and nice. Definitely will visit them again and again.

I was craving south indian, came across chimney fresh and had delicious fried fish. Brought back memories of my childhood food. Beautiful home cooked food. Try the payoli chicken fry. Yummy.

I love my dosas and this place does amazingly fresh and huge paper dosas. The food was really fresh and portions were good. Really clean and hygienic place. The owner is also a really nice person who personally attended to all the patrons. Will definitely be back again with family again soon!

This was my second bad experience at this place. To start with, the food here is okayish. I've tried multiple dishes here like veg/non-veg Thali, briyani, Kappa, etc.and I can't complain much about the taste. Quantity is good. Prices are fine. Not so bad ambience, neatly maintained. But the worst part is, you might want to wait atleast 30-45 minutes to get your food. This is the case even if you call them upfront and place your order on your way to the restaurant. It happened twice, one on Vishu (the festival) and shockingly another on a week day around 4 PM! Not just me but 3 other customers were yelling for their food after placing their order through phone call and yet waiting for almost 40 minutes upon arrival! The restaurant owner/whoever manages it should inform the correct waiting time to the customer instead of just saying 20 minutes! Because we don't want to go to a restaurant just to STARVE, do we?

Best food, good ambiance and friendly owner (George) suggests varieties and customizes the dish as much as possible.

Place wasn’t even busy and didn’t get served for like 20 something minutes. They come to take an order and then half the items on their menu they don’t have. Even their paper dosa is thicker than rice krispy. Simply avoid.

Best home made dosha. Grilled king fish was awesome. Family environment. Neat and clean. Highly Recommend.

We have tried Tawa prawns and prawns were too fresh and the chef has made it very special and the item smells good. Thanks for the waitress suggesting them.we have also ordered Tawa pomfret, it was very delicious and they made it spicy as suggested thanks to chef for taking care of the order.

You cannot go wrong with the food here. Fresh and absolutely tasty. We loved the lunch. Will We take out again? For sure! Got to try the dine experience with the family next time. Our compliments to the Chef and George.

We ordered tawa grilled promfet, tawa prawns, combo kerala poratta. All the three dishes were really nice. I thought prawns will smells but really i had the best prawns receipe here. I recommend to try this kerala restaurant. Even the manager and the girl served us were very friendly and kind.

The food and service here are really good, they may not have a lot of staff but the food feels homemade and fresh. We called ahead and got a reservation which helped immensely in getting a spot to sit in. The only con is lack of space to dine in. Food is great though and the owner is friendly. The hostess was super friendly and capable. Wish them all the success.

The homely atmosphere, excellent customer service and tasty food at affordable price makes it my favourite. I love the service at the place, they are so friendly with the guests and takes care to offer the best quality food. Payolli Chicken and Tawa grills are my favourites. Highly recommended!

Beware of the smiling face of the restaurant owner. They are playing nicely to get the customer who wants to purchase combo meals. They listed combo meal for 14$ and I have ended up paying almost double the expected price per person. I have ordered two combo meals (parotta and mutton curry) and when the they gave the bill it was priced for each individual items (if they wanted to charge individually then why should someone order listed combo meal). Worst ever experience. Will never suggest any person nor will never go near that place

Ordered food for my daughter’s birthday party Mr. George got the food ready on time. Food was really tasty especially mango fish curry, the vegetable thorans were really good as well. Will recommend this place.

This spot is a hidden gem! You must come here for the Spicy Prawns Tawa paired with the parotta! If you love spicy food this dish will hit the spot! We will definitely be coming back to try the pomfret and non veg thali, we saw those items ordered by other customers and they looked delicious!

The owner is also very friendly and staff provided such great service!

Authentic South Indian restaurant with great customer service which is only exceeded by the deliciousness of the food.

The good taste of the food gets negated with the terrible service they provide. They are always short on staff, can never keep up with orders, mess up the items and don't pick up your calls. Ordered from them several times and ALWAYS faced issues. Not worth it, not ordering from them anymore! I would give 0 stars if I could!

Amazing and freshly cooked mouth watering food. The owner is so 100% invested in ensuring customer delight. Anything I have ordered till date here is just so tasty and delicious. Pls keep the good work up.

Great experience with excellent service and amazingly delicious food. The staffs were very polite, explained the dishes in detail and were very quick in their overall service.

To the owner. This is not how you treat your employees.
Treat them with respect. They represent your store. The food was alright, but your attitude towards your employee was a complete let down. Stop shouting at your employees, stop insulting them infront of the customers. Never coming back, won't recommend to anyone!

This is one of the best kerala restaurants i have been to in Ontario. The seating is not fancy, but the food will blow your mind. We went in a large group and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highlight was nattoli fry, chicken roast, parotta, mutton biryani, king fish fry, kandhari prawns and chicken 65. Lipsmacking! Will definitely visit again!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Toronto. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal.

This was a tiny pomfret I picked up today. They charged me $29. A total rip off. The Nadan Beef Fry was reasonable. Never ever order fish again. Seriously! I correct the price was $20.99, but still expensive for the size of the fish.

George the owner personally takes care to see his guests are comfortable. Great chef. Unique Ensemble of South Indian dishes especially for those who love dosas with Non vegetarian curries and chicken stew. Mouth watering Grill starters both fish and meat selection.

Highly recommend eating here. I took Aapam with Mutton curry and Parota with Chicken curry. It was really delicious. I was so happy with the restaurant environment, had a chance to talk to chef also.

I have tried a dozen dosas places in Brampton but this place had the most fresh and the most yummy ones! 100% recommended!

Placed a 10 person bulk order for our trip and was amazed by the quantity and quality of the food. Owner is very accomodative and suggests the right quantity so food isn't wasted and we aren't over spending. Everyone could eat to their hearts content and loved the food. This one's going on our list of places for frequent orders.

We have been to this restaurant few times and their service is always exceptional and delicious & the most authentic malyali food, staff is very polite and put their best for their customers. George is amazing, always taking personal interest in interacting with his customers and getting feedbacks.

Food is nice and is WORTH THE WAIT. On the other hand, I did not like the fact that the owner was not wearing a mask, upon entering the restaurant. A few other people in the restaurant were also not wearing masks. I was wondering if the chefs in the kitchen were wearing masks, but I highly doubt it. I love the prawn masala and the fresh appams. Delicious. I would come back again only if COVID-19 protocols are enforced and followed! 4 stars because food quality was amazing and I truly enjoyed the food. Please make sure all employees and customers are wearing masks for everyone's health & safety

1 hour ago order poratha beef curry and I didn’t get it yet. Better buy frozen porotha and beef cook and eat at home. If you want to have anything from here better to be order a day ago.

Good onam sadhya. Well packed, served and delicious. The quantity of one item, sambhar was very low, hope they realize it

Ordered porotta and beef roast. Also ordered kerala style chicken biriyani. Generous quantity for biriyani. Seems one biriyani serves two people.
But the beef roast and porotta were not really upto the expectations. Porotta was too hard and looked like naan. Beef roast was too spicy.

Food is good. But the only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the service. They always forget to serve the drink we ordered. Last two times when i went there, we ordered drinks with our food, we finished out food but still no one gave the drink. When paying at the counter after the food I complained to the lady and no apology from anyone and they gave the drink which i had to take out.whats the point then?
And again today we ordered drink ($4/drink), we finished all our food and no one gave the drink. I went to complain after i am done with food that I did not get the drink.they simply said "its coming in 1 min" i told them my food is finished its ok i dont need anymore.they still repeated sane that 1 min more it is coming.done with paying still no drink.had stand and wait for the drink and finally had to take out the drink? !

My favourite home made Tea (നല്ല നാടൻ ചായ) was found at only one place in Canada. Awesome tastey Chai. I always gets two Tea for myself whenever i get there. All foods were freshly cooked and served hot on the table in the traditional home made taste of kerala.

This summer i tried many combos and I Loved it all. Appam & Mutta curry* (my best breakfast pick from the list), Appam & chicken curry, porotta & beef fry, rice & fish cimbo, Also tried pothichoru, all three kizhi biriyanis (beef, chicken, mutton) all tasted so good, kappa Biriyani (it's  was a special one made so differently with enough care given by Chef George chettan‍ and he showed up at my table and served it for me, told me that the secret of the special taste is the magic spice mix he prepare by himself).

Regular faces i see thier are the friendly malayali staffs ‍Megha* and ‍Amrutha* were so friendly and caring all the time i have been there.

Still there is more tastey food on the menu, and i wish to try it all one by one. Chimney Fresh in Canada is filling up my dream tastes that I miss from kerala. Appreciations to Mr. & Mrs. George chettan for running this authentic restaurant in such a beautiful manner. So clean, tidy and hygienic.

Poor food quality. They serve food that is prepared around a week or two before. The food did not taste good and was smelling bad. Zero quality. Do not prefer this place. Management, please try to give fresh food to your customers rather than giving them perished items. Even the rice was not made fresh.

Best authentic Kerala cuisine in town. Bought pothichoru and it was absolutely the tastiest I’ve recently had. Their cake is a must try!

My kids ordered me food on Thursday, 23rd Apr. Oh! My God! I have never had such good food in my life. The chicken, vege mix, rice, cutlet, fish fry and payasam. I rate all of them 100/100. Tasty and authentic! Gpd bless uou Soman and Mrs. You guys are blessing to our community.

Yesterday l ordered Chicken Biriyani from Chimney Fresh. It was the first time l had a authentic Kerala style Chicken Biriyani in Canada which reminded me about my homeland. It was really delicious. If you like Kerala style Biriyani, I highly recommend the Biriyani in Chimney Fresh.

Friendly owner, food is consistent in taste, quality and quantity. My go to is always the mutton Biryani and chicken curry parotta combo. I advise to order ahead because it takes them awhile to make the order, but that's how u can tell it's fresh.

Very bad customer service compared with the other kerala restaurants. They didn't bothered for 10 minutes after entering restaurants especially the young lady working in front and makes to wait 45 minutes to getting biriyani. Even though the biriyani was also worst. I tried thaniima, le kochi and kokadand everything else was good. But here it's very worse. I don't recommend any body to this restaurant. They have to improve heir customer service atleast.
