Worst place to pickup orders. No response from employees and just need to wait for number of minutes

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant

My co worker order some chicken balls from this restaurant and they came out super dried out from being over deep fried. Definitely don’t recommend… how you mess up a simple thing like chicken balls. I would give a one, but I don’t know how the service is here.

Waiting so long. They said orders is ready 25 minutes but they give me after 45 minutes.rude service too

Been a customer here for sometime now, well over five years and haven’t been disappointed once yet! Our favourite dishes here are the chilli, manchurian and black bean chicken, the china palace mixed fried rice and mixed chowmein (manchurian or china palace style), crispy ginger beef, shrimp and chicken pakoras, their shrimp spring rolls, shrimp or chicken won tons and their soups! I’ve brought both family and friends here for dine in and we all can agree that everything we’ve tried has been tasty, delicious and cooked to our liking every time!

This places is horrible taking orders they charge you and give you 10 min to prepare your food and it will take more than 30 min to prepare your food and all the cashiers are in the back cooking and taking orders you will be in line till a cashier cook a food and come take your order. It’s my last time ordering here.

Prices have gone up, blame on inflation. Quantity has reduced, whom to blame.it's the greed. Service is horrible. Never again to this place.

I am leaving a 1 star review because the owners and managment DO NOT let staff keep tips made from card. THEY DO NOT LET WORKERS KEEP TIP, therefore i will not be dining here anymore and think this selfish managment shouldnt be given buisness.

I was at China Palace this week with a party of 8 for my mom's birthday for the first time. This restaurant was highly recommended by my co-worker and I figured why not since we all love chinese food. We really liked the decor and the food of the restaurant. Some of our favourite dishes were the corn soup, bombay chicken, crispy ginger beef and the chow mein. We will definitely be dining here again.

The most horrible customer service.gave me wrong order and then not ready to exchange and re-send it said we don’t have a delivery person.the quality of the also disgusting.will not recommend anyone.very much disappointed.

Have been here couple of times, food was good, staff were courteous, service were fast and their washroom were super clean. However food order portion were bit smaller and pricey. Other than that nice fine dining experience

Customer service is not the best, long waits for your food even if called ahead, too pricey yet food is a hit and a miss depending on day and how busy it really is (i.e weekends or special holidays)

Chicken corn soup and chilli chicken dry dish are best. Tiger shrimp is also good. Busiest kitchen in the town so you will need a small patient to have a great meal.

Only thing that was good was the plain rice and the chilli paneer. They got pretty much half our order wrong we asked for extra crispy cauliflower manchurian and we got soggy cauliflower manchurian, we ordered the dry chilli string beans and received soggy in the manchurian sauce, the noodles lacked in flavour. The over all taste was nothing special and I have definitely tried other places that are 100% better!

I have had way better pakoras and the general tsos was not very good didnt really enjoy the type of chicken used and the sauce wasnt spicy at all for a first time test i wouldnt go a second time

I have been going to China Palace since their finding their Malton Location. The food quality and taste has since changed a bit from their Malton location, perhaps due to the change in chef. However, their lunch specials are worth the visit. My fav is Chilli Chicken on white rice. Their Chicken spring rolls and chicken pakoras are also very tasty. Their Manchow Soup is Delilah! My only complaint is to please have the heat on in the dining space. It’s a completely dissatisfying dining experience.

Please faster up your production time. If u short staff or busy restaurant. Increase promise delivery time. And it should be first in first out. Saw people leaving restro upset it gonna affect your credability. All the best

I wanted to share that I ordered close to $200 food
order for my child’s a birthday party & the food was delicious. I went in person to place the order one day before. There is no option for delivery which was the only negative however the food was all packed, & ready for pick-up @ the requested time. Food was at perfect temperature. I ordered about 6 different items. The chili chicken is really good. Noodles were tasty, & food was well packed.

My family and I are regular customers and it's our favourite Chinese food restaurant by far. It's my choice for my birthday dinner every year and we regularly celebrate everything from a new baby to a new home with dinner from China Palace. Looking forward to many more wonderful meals!

I am very disappointed with the food cuz we found 2 hair inside the chicken manchurian and they were rude and cheap to give extra sauce

Ordered ginger beef dry and it came very saucy. When a girl’s been craving something specific, she's specific. Honestly, they should be able to pick up their phone and fix this error. No one picking up her calls and no one to fix the order! Very disappointed.

We ordered veggie noodles and this came with no veggies, taste was horrible and chicken Manchurian was even worst. We just trashed the food and never going to order.

We pay for something quality and totally disappointing.

Absolutely horrible food. No taste. I asked for extra extra spicy and it barely had any green Chilli. Furthermore, all food menu items are overpriced. The restaurant just looks nice, that's all. Will NEVER eat here again! 0 stars!

Food industry, opening up a restro and not answering your customers call, ITS NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL. I called 22 times to get a single order of soup. I started calling them at 7: 15pm and they answered at 8: 00pm. REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED and then they said wait time would be 20
Mins and I ended up standing in restro for 35 mins.

I amvery dispointend with there custmer service was really mean and rude and we found the 3 hair inside the food

Went here the food was bad. The quantity was very low. The soup was fine and the vegetable fried rice and the veg haka noodles were too oily. Plus the noodles were not cooked properly and were raw and cold.
The garlic chicken was the only good thing but there was to little of it. And the prices are insane $60 plus dollars of low quality and quantity of food. Don't waste your money here. Definitely will not be going here ever again and I will make sure to never ever recommend this place to my friends and family.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION, save your time and order else where. BOTH MANAGER & Reception has ZERO customer service and is beyond RUDE …. They should both be doing different jobs. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WOULDN’T recommended!

I ordered hakka noodles online. At first I wait for 40 min I thought little bit delayed that’s fine. But then they cancel the order and started a new order and I waited for more then an hour to deliver. I know they have a lot of costumer but that is way long to wait.

tried chilli tofu dry, chilli chicken dry, chilli beef gravy and manchurian house special fried rice
all items were great and must try.definitely reccomend this place

All their food is amazing only veg chopsy crunchy noodle are not up to mark as it use to be before

Horrible service! Ordered at 11: 35pm and.was told you come in 15 minutes. Got there at Noon and was told it'll be another 5-10 min. The staff kept disappearing in the kitchen and when she came.out at 12: 15, she said another 5-10 min. I asked why I was told 15 minutes at 11: 35 and she says "oh we open at Noon". I'm like WTH!

Finally get my food at 12: 25 and the food container literally had 4 pieces of fish and they even charged extra for fried rice which was barely 3/4 full in container.

Stay away! Horrible customer service and owner just looked at me and handed me the food when I complained and didn't even acknowledge how they were almost 45 minutes late for a simple.lunch special.

Food cost $15 for what most others charge around $10 and they give enough good to feed 3-4 people. This left me hungry as not enough food.

I'm a trucker so whenever I get a chance near a delivery or pickup, I like to try new places.

Well I wish I hadn't tried this one. Got the lunch special Manchurian Chicken with Fried rice. This was the worst Hakka food I've ever had. The chicken didn't taste like Manchurian at all, rather tasted like some South Indian dish. Fried rice was bland and again I don't know what ingredients they used but it was more Indian than Hakka.

Icing on the cake was it cost me almost $14 and I lost my appetite. Safe to say will not return!

The place offers a vast variety of fresh food. I loved dining here. Employees are always super nice, rates are convenient and the spot is always neat.

chicken tasted nasty the food was so hot its like they tossed it in the microwave rice was hard

While everyone else is wearing a mask, the owner should be too. Also please tell us what you use the microwave for? I don't know how I feel about hearing microwaves go off while my food is being prepared

The food is always well prepared and yummy, cashiers gives great customer service. I loved how neat it is and mood. Would recommend to others.

There food is amazing, service is amazing.this is my go to Chinese joint my favourite menu item is honey garlic chicken and the fish pakora the sauce you get with the fish pakora is next level you have to try it

We came to this place for lunch.my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was a winning. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The meal was delicious. We loved this spot a lot and we will visit this place again. Recommended.

Worst customer service ever! Ordered 2 items - knowing there salt fetish, asked the server to have little salt in the Chicken sweet corn soup, they actually listened.

But with the Chicken fried wontons, TINIEST QTY OF MEAT and the line chef might have thought he was deep frying samosas.the breading was double fried and BURNT and they were the flattest/deformed shaped wontons i have ever seen! The server actually said to me “thats how they are” I’ve had this exact orders at other locations and i have never been so disappointed with the food or service! AVOID THIS PLACE!

We have t been to this restaurant for about 6 months but happened to be in the area and the family was wanting to go for lunch
The service was ok
The food came out fairly quickly
The spring roll was mild. (Note: on a previous visit the spring roll was delivered still frozen) and the food wasn’t hot. The flavour was very mild compared to the other restaurants in the franchise. The portions are also less, especially the soup which also could have been warmed up
The place was not busy, there were only about 9 other people in the whole restaurant
So I was waiting for the person to come over with the bill. Nope not happening.so I had to go to the counter and get my bill then pay
Like I said. Not busy, no line ups. Then she asked if I was paying for everyone. Really? How to kids pay.

In closing. This restaurant has got to go through some major changes. They do not have the patronage to be lazy. They have to create good memories so people will want to come back As I mentioned, the other franchises are busy and the staff is always moving. But they always take the time to say hello and talk about the meal

Place is nice and clean and so are the washrooms. Service is ok but waitress could have been more friendly.
Had Manchurian chicken and Hot and sour soup. The soup had no meat but it was fabulous. Manchurian chicken was really good too. Would certainly recommend this place.

Very poor quality and tasteless food, the chicken Hakka noodles were having hardly any pieces of chicken, the chicken was just dumped without stir frying, hard to chew, bits of veggies, noodles looked like were made sometime back, awful experience

Ordered General Tso Chicken. It was very very sour. Not spicy and sweet. Horrible food. Horrible service.

Food is good but very poor customer service.staff don’t know to talk to customers. They were very unprofessional and rude.

I had a bad customer service experience today. When I discussed this with the lady at front, she said they have lots of take out orders and chef was on a break. This is poor explanation for bad service to dine in customers.

Service was not good.waitresses need to clear apps before bringing out main course. Food was okay, it was better before

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant.happy to tell that we passed a brilliant evening and the venue was absolutely one of the reasons for this fruitful meeting. The team participated in a gorgeous manner, the cooking was appetizing and my friends were extremely glad. We shall surely come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

Food is terrible to the point where I believe the chicken isn't even chicken its probably RAT MEAT and i found a bee in my food and its not a one time mistake as I have ordered food on multiple occasions. Very disappointing considering how good the food used to be when the restaurant first opened

Food quality is okay. Noodles especially has a lot of oil. For when you eat it. You will feel the oils on your lips.

Service is also not good.

I have been coming here for a while. But it seems like it has been deteriorating.

Regular at this restaurant at least twice a month, Its real hit and miss. Sometimes the food is delicious and sometimes its just OK! However, The place is nice and clean. Their china palace special noodles is our favorite item on their menu.

The food here is always perfect! It's hot, fresh, saucy, crispy just delicious. We keep coming back again and again.

Used to be my favorite place but not anymore. Their hot and sour soup is great but 0 start to service. We ordered the the soup and then main course to follow. We had to remind them that we are done with the soup. We ordered 5 dishes and nothing came together. First came the chill chicken then 5 minutes later chicken Manchurian but no noodles that we wanted to have it with the chicken. Then after 10 minutes vegetable noodles came for our vegetarian family but no veg Manchurian. We complained that how we are going to to eat. Something that u put on our table 10 minutes ago is already cold and almost finished. We wanted chicken noodles to go with this.then after 20-30 minutes long wait finally everything on the table but by that time we already finished our curry stuff so how to eat the noodles now. And our vegetarian noodles are hard and on top of that vege Manchurian were all burnt. So they don't follow what goes with what. They just bring whatever whenever they want. Very poor service. We were the regular customers but not anymore.

The irony was that I really was craving Chinese food and wanted to eat there.

Young Indian girl was busy at the counter oh, she was awesome by the way, and the old guy answered the phone took an order, but even though I was standing right in front of him, he just ignored me.

So I took my twenty bucks an ate next door. I simply refuse to spend money where I am treated poorly

Let start by saying if you coming from India. You will not miss street style noodles in this "Chinese" restaurant. Highly disappointed with the food quality. The vegetable noodles were burned garlic (very desi, road side food). The stir fried vegetable with almond was tasteless. Almonds were with skin, as if just thrown for the sake. The two stars are for the soup we tasted. The chicken sweet corn was ok but vegetable hot and sour was some different soup, didn't taste anywhere close to hot and sour. Only good thing was the size in which it was served if we are fishing for positives.

Amazing food at amazing prices. One of my favourite take out places. There are many selections on the menu, and all of the dishes have so much flavour. Highly recommend!

Just broght fried rice couple days ago 3 hours later the rice was smelling bad cant believe they serve rice thats couple days old! Terrible wont be ordering from there anymore!

Food is ok, but I've had had better hakka food. I ordered the vegetarian Manchurian and the pakoras were burnt!

I was in this place on last Friday evening with my family and had a very good experience.
Food was very good and tasty. The service was very friendly and fast. The chicken chilli dry was little spicy, but staff fix it so fast.
We will be back soon.

This is Hakka cuisine. That said, they are known for their chili dishes. The chili chicken and chili fish (both dry and sauce) is really good. The portions are very good and the decor of the place is nice. Staff is friendly and quick. I came here with my coworkers and they enjoyed it a lot as well. Will come here again!

Tasty food! Have been here going here for many years. Seats are always available. The customer service can be improved on but overall it’s good place.
