Chinguacousy Park Skate Trail

The direction to get here on Google are misleading and incorrect. It gets you into the general area alright, but leads you to the wrong destination. I got lost twice getting there. I had to get my friend to find me and drive me over.

They have sheltered washrooms, an open area with lockers that have heat blowing from above. Due to the open concept in the locker area, the warm air kind of gets blown away though.

Ice is taken care of, it's lovely.

No food is available here.

Great place to skate. You can rent skates and helmets if needed. Skating aid available from the town.

This is the best place for me during the winter season. There is also a skate rental shop but You can bring your own skates and enjoy skating for free. Crowd levels keep varying. Overall a very amazing trail and experience.

Easy rentals and a fun place to ice skate. Good music too. Kinda packed on a Saturday evening but thats on me. Id recommended everyone to try it.

Nice, free use skate pad located in Chinguacousy Park. I went on a Tuesday during the day and it was pretty much empty. There are washrooms and lockers on site along with skate rentals. The ice was clean and well maintained. A good place to bring the kids as it is located next to a petting zoo.

Too small! I didn't even skate because it was crowded (I went on Tuesday morning), the rink is so small, plus the music was waaaay too loud, so annoying.

Poor service, I highly recommend bringing your own skates or not going at all. The line up is typically 1+ hours and you are expected to stand in the line for 1+ hours to return your skates. Also, the skates are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I recommend Gage Park as a significantly better alternative.

Beautiful park in Brampton. Activities for the whole family and lots of space for fitness and recreational activities.

Ice surface is good and plenty of benches and rubber flooring to safely walk on. Bathrooms onsite are in a heated building and does not require you to remove your skates to use. Staff consist of two on ice skate patrol kids, one ice resurface/maintenance operator and one person at the reception booth who are friendly and helpful. Only 4 stars because trying to book online is impossible. Unable to register or book a reservation online and was lucky for a cancellation otherwise would've been SOL. Best to call and hope someone answers to reserve your spot.

It is conveniently accessible to large community and is great mostly for trained ice skaters because it doesn't have fences on the side. It is well maintained in winter with music and lights. Amazing atmosphere near Christmas time.

Free access and parking.small skating center not really a "trail" more of a "3 peas in a pod" shape.there is skate rentals for $10 on site.skate sharpening is $9.there is a zamboni that comes out to flood ice every few hrs.hats and gloves for sale at skate rental building incase you forgot yours.onw food truck on site, has typical variety.burgers, chicken burger, fries, poutine, churros, beef patties, coffee and hotchocolate.not very busy which is good if your a beginner or have small kids.seems to be a variety of activities that will come available in summer.mught return to check that out (petting zoo, tea room.more)

Amazing place to bring kids it's got everything a kid wants from splash pads to big pool to petting zoo rides.my kids love it I highly recommend it

Great little splash pad wish they would fill it a bit better but all in all a great free place to cool off.

Great skating trail. Usually not too busy. Skate rentals are available and are fairly priced. No admission fee to skate. Lockers are available for a quarter. Food and drinks truck on site. Lots of seating and good amount of parking space is available. Washrooms are available but no change rooms.

I agree with "Gooderguys" in that the skating at Chinguacousy park is great, but dampened by the attitude of the woman at the skate rental. I would have rated 5 stars, but can't because of that. The City of Brampton should look at having a rental shop owner who is able to provide great customer service to enhance the ice skating experience - not ruin it.
