Chippawa Boat Ramp & Naisbitt Parkette

Not even a bite. Don't care. That wasn't the problem. Idiots on the water will ONCE in a blue moon slow down for people on BIG floaties even ones tied together and find it funny to not slow down for a canoe most times either!? Will never ever be going back! Water has a very very odd color to it and it's not pollution.

Excellent marina for motor boats and jet skis. The area for swimming and sunbathing is small, but very cozy and comfortable. Ubiquitous Canadian geese kindly look at tourists from the water, waiting for goodies) There is a playground, toilets, parking.

Excellent ramp. Porta pots available. Benches and picnic tables to sit and relax or eat. Dock is in excellent shape. Plenty of parking. Well layed out

Lovely quiet area with plenty of benches to sit on. Theirs a reduced speed limit for boats. It's quite funny seeing a boat quietly bubbling away as it drives through warer because they're following the speed limit.

There's porta potties available. There aren't really any areas for you to have a picnic. It's more of a small community boat Ramp.

If you want to launch a boat this is a good spot. Lots of room. If you are walking this is not a good spot. Short walk on the waterfront. Chip truck across the street is good. A couple of picnic tables there and by the waterfront. Beautiful view. Nice place to just sit and relax.

The food was good but the gentleman working there should learn to get a better attitude.don't get miserable with customers just because your having a bad day or that you dislike your job.

Officially no more swimming at this dock, and the hassle on weekends to park for a picnic make it less attractive to families trying to enjoy the outdoors too.

Perfect spot for a early morning coffee or tea and add a little breakie and you have yourself a wonderful start to your day. Water adds to a very peaceful experience.

The ramp is brand new and very well built.

The launch ramps have a good approach angle. I was able to launch with the tires only slightly below the water.

Once in the water, the sides of the ramp are wood, and there is a lot of space to park boats once launched.

The car parking is pull-through and convenient.

This is a good facility but usually quite busyin weekend. Public outhouses on site; clean.
About the only free ramps with free parking around. Good for Chippawa! Makes me come back.

This is a great place to launch your boat, have a picnic or spend the day with your friends. Chip truck located on the other side of road.

A nice little board walk to relax with your feet hanging over the water.would be nice if it was longer as it gets crowded quickly some days.

I always go here. Just to get away. Has such beautiful scenery and it brings me back to my growing up in Chippawa

It's a beautiful river and place to boat. Here is my issue. I have been here 2 times on my seadoo now. I have been respectful both times; adhering to the 12km no wake speed limit. Basically in the speed zone I stick to under 10km/hr. In the other areas I'm always respectfull to other boaters i.e.: fishers and canoes by slowing down as I pass. Unfortunately there are some people in this world who are just miserable and like to bully people. I drove by one angry man shaking his head when I waved at him. He told me "you guys can't be speeding around here". I don't recall speeding or causing any disruptful wake or being disrespectful. In addition you do not own this water way and maybe focus on the people actually causing the problems. Again today as I am approaching the marina the "no wake 12km/hr zone", someone decides to wave me down and yell "no wake slow down" I respectfully advised that I was doing far under the 12km per hour under the posted limit and causing little disruption in my little seadoo. This angry man says well wait till you see the wake on my boat doing 12 km/hr. Makes no sense since his boat was basically a yacht and I was going under the 12km limit. Come in people; know when to point the finger and when not to act flippant towards other respectfull boaters. I will keep coming back because it is my right to enjoy the water just as much as anyone else.

Beautiful but busy. In my opinion, the dock is for launching boats, not for suntanning, fishing, swimming dogs or picnics. Please leash your dog, it's not fair to people who do when a loose dog charges at you. Its uncomfortable and it's hard to launch when worrying about a loose dog.

Went there for fishing with the kids. Lots of fish near show for the kids to catch. Beautiful scenery

Great place to launch your boat. Easily accessible. Excellent boating options from both sides of the river

The weather and the water was awesome. Also everyone so friendly. Had a great day going back soon.

Great place to be on Saturday afternoon. People are friendly. Can't thank Kenny and Donna enough for their hospitality.

Great little park to launch a boat for free, watch people, go swimming, have a picnic or just sit on the dock and enjoy the river. Just please clean up after yourself there are plenty of trash cans to deposit your disposables.

Locals Only! ️Love this spot for catching some sunshine, jumping off the docks and floating down the river!
