Chippawa Park

The new playground is pretty incredible! I hope people respect it, and dont destroy it.
I grew up going to Chippawa park, i love the big open grassy hills.y 3 yo son can just RUN from one part of the park t[ the next and i dont have to worry about him being too close to the road. There are so many parts of the park to explore; the 2 playgrounds, baseball diamond, splash pad, sandy area (for beach volleyball), the pond to check for ducks and geese), the rose garden, the Leon's statue etc. We always have a blast and are never bored when we go! We arebso lucky to be close by.

I went to the War Memorial today after work to lay a poppy and say, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE"

Great place to take the kids. Nice little splash pad. And brand new playground recently renovated.

A beautiful park for walks, bike rides and to enjoy nature, they have a place where you can have a fire at night time along with picnic tables and and a over head to stay dry.

Here for my son's baseball game. Nice park, ball diamonds are well maintained. Has a lot of other amenities and toilets are in the community centre building.

A wonderful park with inclusive spaces for kids and kids alike. Beautifully kept with lots of trees & green space. It has three playgrounds one of which is a splash pad. Public restroom, picnic areas and two ponds to enjoy. Nice, peaceful settings.

Fantastic little park. Many walking trails, rose garden, duck pond with fountain, volleyball courts, play area for kids and a pavilion with picnic tables for gatherings. Rolling hills, plenty of flora and fauna make this area a stand out. Enjoy!

The best park in Welland, and easily one of the nicest parks in Niagara. It has a duck pond, a fish pond, a flower garden, two playgrounds, and a brand new splash pad. It has everything.

I spend my lunches here watching the ducks and turtles. I love it and to see all the parents bringing their young children

I wish everyone who came to Welland had to walk through chippawa park first. It's a classic, and it's beautiful. The community center is a great place to have small events like showers or birthdays for children.

Beautiful park. Has a splash pad and a lot of shade. There is a duck house and a turtle house in the pond. A bit of a trek from my house but was worth it.

Chippawa Park is a wide open and aesthetically pleasing. There is ample room for family picnics or family gatherings as well as adequate and clean facilites. There are several points of interest to be discovered along various gardens and highlights. The large pond is a particular favourite as well as the gold fish pond in the Rose Garden. It's an old and interesting park where time can be well spent.

Nice park with a fountain and child playground. Good for pokemon go players, a lot of pokestops and it has couple of gyms.

Lots of shade to get out of the sun! Both the parks and the splash pad were great and thenkods also enjoyed the duck pond.

Nice place. Attended a function there. They need to do something about the noise. We thought about renting it for other functions but it is so much noise from just people talking You cannot hear people sitting across the table from you. Need to do something about the accustics. This was the comments by everyone there.

Really impressed by what this park has to offer. Two beach volleyball courts, splash pad, paths, large pond to watch the birds, tennis courts, pavilions. Had a blast with my child at a friend's birthday party.

Baseball park for baseball game, could use more accessible trash can number wise & portopotty for players & young siblings & elderly family who attend games as distance to facilities is ridiculous for those listed. Playground nice but once again a little one would never make it to bathroom facilities without a possible accident!

Although the pool is now volleyball courts the fountain is working and it is still an awsome playground y family picnic and public recreational area

In the pond at Chippewa Park there's a little wooden house.tiny baby ducks live inside!
It was cool watching them come out jump into water then go back into wooden house out of the SUN. Awesome! Love it!

It is a nice splash pad for kids, but the volleyball players who are adults are now using it as their sand showers and leaving the whole splash pad full of sand on the kids.

Large park. Playground, pond, baseball diamond volleyball courts as well as picnic area, nice splash pad and directly on bus route!

As always, the birds we go to see, and the new splash pad! The only thing is. I think they should have a bird feed dispenser. Instead of people feeding them the wrong things. I think it's a great idea and the money could go back into the park!

A good place to bring the kids. I usually do a sweep for needles before I let my daughter on anything but am pleasantly surprised to find none

Awesome ppace for tobaganing in winter. Also the pond can be a rink if frozen in winter. Good access from the road and parking available. Area to walk and have play area for the kids. Nice park in welland. I really enjoyed tobaganing this winter. Recommended

Nice place. Can't wait for the splash pad to be open. Enough picnic tables and a nice little hill for sliding in winter.

Great place for any season and normally lots of events going on. The skating in the winter comes with lots of open space.
